Marco’s Pizza

As far as pizza goes in the Tampa area it’s one of our favs. How ever it kinda pricey for pizza. But we don love the thin crust pizza. They gave us the wrong pizza one time and quickly fixed the issue by sending out the correct one. Turns out I like the wrong order better and hey it was free. But the pizza is good just wish they would drop the price just a bit

This pizza was so good! I was skeptical when my husband suggested Marco’s, but we had a coupon code so I thought what the hell. I was so pleasantly surprised when he got home with our pie. The crust was delicious! I usually don’t eat the crusts because I don’t want to fill up on useless bread, but this one was super good. The toppings and cheese were fantastic, especially the sausage. It wasn’t those tiny crumble balls you get elsewhere, these were good chunks and the flavor was just right. We will definitely order from here every time we want pizza. It’s way better than that Five Star pizza place (flavor, the actual pizza).
I see some people have complaints about the service and such. I’m basing my stars and review on the pizza itself. My husband picked it up so I can’t judge their delivery service. The pizza was made perfectly to order for us. This place is kind of a hole so if you’re expecting to be showered in extra virgin olive oil and fresh ground black pepper on your salad this is not the place for you. It’s pizza delivery, not Maggiano’s.

Worst customer service I have had maybe ever. I had a large order for work to have a working lunch meeting. Delivered on time at 11:45 a.m. however salads had no dressing and wrong pizza delivered. Called and they were nice and said they would fix right away. Waited over an hour after calling several times. Now the meeting was almost over! We finally got dressing for the salads but were delivered the wrong pizza again! Manager stated he would send the driver back to refund my money but nobody ever came back. Called back and manager stated the owner wanted to call me. It is now 7:00 p.m. and no phone call, refund or correct pizza! I place a lot of large orders for work and never again from this place! Too busy for this horrible service!

This place is so unsanitary. These guys make the pizzas and touch the food without gloves on. I then watched them sweep the floor and then go back to touching the ingredients and making the pizza. Disgusting! The pizza doesn’t taste that good either.

This is the worst place around why here it goes why… We order a pizza and they told us the waiting time was 25 min I did show up 30 minutes after my call and they charge me for the order the soon that I got they I was seating for 10min and I saw several ppl coming in for their order and walkout with it and I asked them hey what is going on with my order and they told me that I need to wait for another 25 min if you do the math that would be almost one hr… I did cancel my order and till to day haven’t get my money back on my bank account !!! So don’t go to this shitty a… place highly recommend

Just ordered pizza from Marcos and I will not be ordering from them again. I ordered a large garlic butter crust pepperoni pizza with garlic butter sauce and after an hour wait I received a regular large pizza with ranch dressing sauce which is not what I ordered. I called Marcos and was told they would check to see who made the pizza but not give another pizza and can only have the driver bring the garlic butter sauce. I tols him this is not the pizza I ordered and the representative told me he would check but could not give me another pizza or give me a partial refund and that I did not pay for sauce since it is complementary. I told him I will not order from them again.

Went the on Fri Mar 6^th fir the first time. The pizza is just as good as ABC Pizza but cheaper in price. No more ABC Piss for me. I was so full, A large meat lovers and 2 drinks 16 bucks and had left over to take home. I also can’t wait to go back there I really want to try the subs. I really hope there as big.

Best crust best sause fresh in hot delivery very yummy

I’ve had pizza from here a few times. Overall, I appreciate the freshness of their toppings. I was always super impressed by the addition of eggplant to their veggie pizzas, as I love eggplant. Their crust isn’t always that exciting though, but that may be because I get take out and it gets cold.

This is by far one of the best franchise pizzerias out there. Much more flavorful than the run of the mill pizzas. The staff is a little «aloof» at the Temple Terrace location but not that bad.

Wow, the service here sucks. I would strongly urge anyone to avoid this Marco’s location. My order took much longer than estimated. I arrived a few minutes after the estimated pickup time I was given online and they were only just preparing my pizza to go in the oven. Waited for nearly 20 minutes to get my order and the employees couldn’t have been less apologetic or caring. Seriously, terrible staff and location. Avoid avoid avoid.

Good pizza for the price. Much better than the usual Domino’s, Pizza Hut et al.

Marco’s is the pizza place we can all agree on. I like Papa John’s, the wifey likes Pizza Hut, but we both like Marco’s. The first time we weren’t impressed, but after that we started getting the thin crust. Awesome! Now it’s the only kind. The wings are pretty good too and the cheese bread.
One down side is that the crust toppers (yum!) are inconsistent. Sometimes they’re generous and sometimes they’re skimpy… same with the sauce on the wings. I wish there were a comment box on their website when ordering online.

I thought it was great. I was in there today, and it was busy, but employee got to me quickly. I was in and out without placing an order before I came in. It was hot and perfectly cooked. Thanks Marcos I will be back.

Seems like this place just opened up in the Temple Terrace area. Their deals are pretty good ($ 9.99 for a large two type pepperoni pizza pie [came out to about $ 13.36+tip, if delivery]).The pizza is heavy, but thinner and slightly less greasy compared to its chain competitors. It seems like they give more bread and meat than sauce and cheese though.
Overall, it’s alright, but the thinness and lack of cheese and sauce is what leaves me saying «Meh». They do have good deals though and the taste wasn’t bad. So I recommend at least giving it a try since this might be your kind of pizza place.
Just for reference, I’m a Papa John’s kind of pizza guy. So use that as a gauge, if you so choose. Putting this place on a spectrum for its competitors on greasiness starting from least to greatest (in my opinion): Papa John’s, Marco’s, Pizza Hut, Domino’s.

If I was basing my review on food alone, I would only give Marco’s Pizza 2 stars. However, taking service into consideration and we are down to 1 star. I won’t go into the nitty-​gritty of my (multiple) poor service incidences, but basically I was promised a lot that I never received and there seems to be zero communication between manager and owner. The pizza wasn’t even anything special to make up for it.
