This Neiman’s is by far the worst I have ever been to. The customer service is the worst I have ever experienced. The sales people do not even acknowledge you, and they do not know how to greet people. The only time they want to help you is if they know how much you’re about to spend. Since this is the only Neiman Marcus around, I have no choice but to shop on their website. Other than that, I wait until I go to New Jersey.

Why is it everyone who works here acts like they are God’s gift to retail… act like a bunch of pre madonnas who are stuck up and ashamed to crack a smile or at least say hi to you when you walk in this store.

I placed an order on line and one of the items was being shipped from this store since I got a call from Nicole Thompson letting me know she thought my order was switched and that I would be receiving the wrong item the next day. She was right, but her response to this mixup is 100% why Neimans still has a loyal customer here. She had the right item over nighted to me and sent some «goodies» too. When she said she would send me some goodies to make this right I figured she meant a few cosmetic samples, I was most certainly not expecting «goodies» to equal the same price as the item I originally ordered. She really went above and beyond.

After going to the Neiman’s in San Fran, I was So hoping to find that they too carried a great selection in bras. Sadly, they do not. They have a fabulous collection of clothing, great designers and what have you, but their foundation selection is paltry and very slim. I am saddened by this. I mean, really! There were no bras over a DD cup even offered. THIS. just is not acceptable.

No better department store in the world. A Texas tradition… they publish the world famous NM Christmas Catalog… Never seen it? You should.

Yes, it’s a little pricey… However, you get what you pay for… :) and I don’t mind paying for good service and goods.
The staff is professional and customer-oriented. The products (clothing, shoes, and other items) are nicely organized.

They call it ‘Needless Markup’ for a reason, but yeah, you gotta love NM for its over the top existence.
Bonus: Check out the artworks they added to their collection when the store opened. I wander through occasionally just to visit the works by Thomas Kettner, Betsy Orbe Lester and Mernet Larsen (all of whom I have in my collection). There are a number of other great pieces scattered about as well.
Remember, they don’t take real credit cards, only their own issue.

I was on the HUNT for the 85 Simple Pumps from CL in my size… and of course NY is out of them, I happen to be in FL, I fiqured I would try my luck… Luck was out that day because they only had them in the 39, Luckily… I had a wonderful salesman (who could only be straight wearing a purple suit selling womens shoes…) anyways, he located them for me, took my amex and had them overnighted before I could breath and say thank you… WOW, I was left stunned at the quality of speed and accuracy, and the follow up phone call to ensure I was happy with my purchase. Thank you Neiman Marcus for making me spend that kind of cash without having a moment to hesitate.

If you have the money and you are looking for the best service possible go to Neimans. I needed a suit and some shoes and visited a bunch of places. This was my last stop cause I knew it would be the most expensive. I told the sales guy exactly what I was looking for. His name was Ali G lol and I recommend you see him if your looking for mens clothes. He helped me with 8 different suits and 7 pairs of shoes until I found the exact one I loved. He spent over an hour and a half with me and then had the suit I picked out taylored by the next morning. Now when I go I can call ahead and they will have a fittign room set up with drinks and all kinds of stuff lol waiting for you. I highly recommend if you can afford it.

This location discontinued my Darphin face cream. I’m mad. I’m deducting 2 stars for it. But I must say that the restrooms on the second floor are quite lovely. Clean and comfortable.
