The old lady that served us was extremely weird and rude. I did not know u could screw up chicken noodle soup but apperantly that is very simple. It was dirty and the food over all tasted weird I love the eclairs they have but I ended up having to go ask another lady for one due to our servers lack of attendance dispite the lack of customers.

Really, the only good thing I’ll say is that the waitress was nice. I forget her name, but she has a cat silhouette tattoo on her arm. I had French toast, which was fine, except halfway through I bit down on something hard. Pull it out of my mouth and it’s a small shard of clear plastic. I mean, how the hell did that even get in there? I put it on the edge of the plate and the waitress said she would show her boss, but no one ever apologized. Never again, Perkins.

After a very difficult weekend spent in the hospital with my nephew, I wanted to do something to cheer my niece up for her birthday. We went to Perkins for an delicious lunch. made exactly as we ordered it. When I asked if I could get a candle to put on a piece of pie for her, the manager, who was not able to locate a candle, went above and beyond by creating/decorating a beautiful plate with a piece of pie, whipped cream, chocolate chip & sprinkles. Words cannot express how much that gesture meant. My niece, who was very sad because of her brother being in the hospital, lit up at the site! Just wanted to give a HUGE thanks to Steve and Mary. If only everyone were that thoughtful… THANKYOU!!! ***Bonus: Free, yummy pie on Monday’s with entrée purchase. Mmmmmmm… :)

The chicken noodle soup was very gelatinous and weird, not hot. The manager dressed and looked like she should be working in a smoky, rundown bar somewhere, not in the least bit professional. I definitely did not feel like I was in a Perkins restaurant.

You know this place is amazing when I literally took the time to tell the manager their food is the bomb! I was in heaven when I tried their country smasher and the pancakes. Will definitely come back soon.

This place smells funky and feels gross to be in. Bathrooms are nasty and old. Not the Perkins experience I’m used to from up north.

Food is always great, but it takes a long time to get it. It was also freezing in there. All in all, I will definitely go back

I know this is a restaurant chain, but it’s definitely a few scales up from Denny’s and IHOP. I don’t know what everyone else is talking about in regards to bad coffee– the coffee was delicious! It’s not Starbucks, but your regular diner coffee. Add a little sugar and cream, or don’t– either way, it’s good. We had breakfast(Belgian waffle, eggs, bacon; Oregon Apple and cinnamon French toast, eggs bacon) and it was good. The service was great. The atmosphere was pretty relaxing, although I could have dealt without the elevator music, but that was barely noticeable. They gave us a 15% military discount, which was cool. Overall, it was a good experience and I wouldn’t say no to coming here again.

This is the closet Perkins to Stevie’s school so we typically stop in for his morning breakfast of chicken fingers, fries and a sprite. The place is usually sparse of customers at 8am unless it’s a weekend in which case you can expect a wait of 20 – 40 minutes. Always clean and always friendly. It is a good representative of your garden variety chain restaurant that sells service and friendliness. Ask for Bianca, she is the bomb.

Went on Sunday with the family. The food was typical American diner. Ordered the brioche pancakes and they were quite delicious. My cousin ordered the southern friend chicken biscuits with gravy and he really enjoyed it. The only thing that wasn’t great was the coffee. Otherwise I would recommend for a Sunday brunch.

For a chain this is hard to do but everything came out cooked perfectly and with a smile. Manager greeted us table side and waitress was very attentive. I ordered top sirloin and tomato soup, kids quesadilla, Tuna sandwich combo, and desserts. All tasted good. :)

I understand it was late at night, and there were 10 of us in the party. We were sat AFTER another larger group who arrived, though, which kind of irritated me. We had one server — TJ — who was a little overwhelmed by two large parties being sat at once. He was great, but seemed to be the only one working in the restaraunt. Two of our party got the wrong dishes made. Correction was swift.

My family re-visted this Perkins Restaurant & Bakery since we were in the area and wanted something to eat for dinner so we decide lets go back. The customer service from the waitress was great. The drinks were refilled promptly and the dinner entrée from our choosing was delicious. The waitress made sure we were happy with our meal and nothing was wrong with any of the entrees.

My favorite thing about this place are the muffins! They are big and delicious!!! They offer your regular breakfast options on their menu but I find Perkins to be a bit pricey. I don’t always remember breakfast costing so much but I think the meal alone was almost $ 9 and they did not include beverage. It was simple– eggs, hash browns, meat, and your choice of toast or muffin. The food is good and the service was quick. The atmosphere is busy and somewhat loud– I was there on a Saturday morning– and the place was a little bit messy which may have been ebcause of the crowd. I can’t say I won’t ever go to Perkins again but if I have my choice, Perkins will not my first.

If there’s a Cracker Barrel within a reasonable distance go there. Even Waffle House is better. Not that this place is horrible. I can just do this stuff at home myself with little effort.

I am very impressed with this Perkin’s Family Restaurant! They offer excellent coupons! My omlette was like $ 9.95 and I had a coupon for $ 6.99 including excellent pumpkin muffin! Omigosh the pumpkin muffin was supremely DELICIOUS! I would recommend you try their pumpkin muffin! It tasted like homemade! The server was excellent at this time of my visit! :-)

Of all the chain diners, Perkins is my favorite. The food is consistent and good… it won’t knock your socks off but still pretty good for a chain diner. However this particular place turned out to be not my favorite location. I felt like i was in Denny’s or Ihop more like for the dirtiness. Maybe there were in the middle of cleaning? Well to be fair, I’m guessing it was a very busy night. This locations is very close to USF and my friends nearby, I will probably be back one day again. The food was good and consistent like others(we had a southern chicken skillet and Thanksgiving turkey dinner).

I guess my first mistake was that I went on Thanksgiving night. But hey — it was after 8PM already. When we were seated at our table, the hostess pointed out the special«Thanksgiving» dinner menu flyer on the end of the table. That was a good thing, as I was starving for a «traditional» Thanksgiving dinner. Now for me, traditional is turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls. Not too much to ask right? WRONG! As soon as the waitress came over, I told her I wanted the Thanksgiving special. The first thing she said was«we are out of mashed potatoes and baked potatoes». I looked at her puzzled and said«what am I suppose to have with my turkey and dressing?» She suggested maybe macaroni and cheese. I sent her on her way so I could ponder her suggestion and get over the trauma of not having mashed potatoes with my dinner. My wife was all set on ordering breakfast so she was good to go. The waitress came back over and asked me if I had decided. I looked at her with sad eyes and finally said«yes, I’ll take your suggestion and have macaroni and cheese» I KIDYOUNOT — she looked at me and said«sorry, we just ran out of that». I opted not to eat. My wife had her breakfast and I drank water. The really sad part was, this is a open 24 hour restaurant. How do you run out of potatoes? AND, the waitress didn’t even apologize to me. I saw the manager at the register and decided to go pay the check while my wife was finishing up. She asked me how everything was and I told her of my disappointment and that I didn’t understand how they could run out of potatoes. She said she was sorry and took my money. We shall not be going back to that restaurant. I wanted to go to IHop in the first place but my wife convinced me to go their. Never again!
