They have great prices, good and hostesses. If you’re a player use the points to pay. They have good selection of food and don’t order the large portions believe me they are too big. Stay with the regular size it will be enough. Had fun with my family last night and worth to eat there.

Why 5 Stars? Each time I’ve been here I was seated immediately. The food is prepared by chefs and not minimum waged line cooks. The quality of breakfast foods is simple yet delicious. I recommend the«Duces Wild». The staff is friendly and also had the opportunity to speak with the management working on my 1st visit. If you’re in the casino you must stop in. If you’re not a gambler, I’d still recommend working you’re way though the maze of slots and grab a bite to eat.

With an empty stomach, I marched fast through the casino searching for the Green Room. I arrived to an area where the Green Room once was. I was informed by a worker the Green Room is no longer here, but Rise Kitchen was pretty good. I was disappointed, I had my heart and soul set for the shrimp and grits that the Green Room served. Reluctantly, I went into Rise Kitchen. They were not really busy, I ordered a bottled water, cheese grits, eggs and bacon. Everything came out fresh and it was the norm. There were plenty of other items to try on the menu, I will be back

Tonight my family decided to eat in this restaurant due to the pouring rain outside. First, we ordered drinks and our waitress said that we could have a canned soda, but when it was brought out it was clearly from the fountain. We asked another waitress about the canned soda and she told us that they usually don’t have canned sodas unless their soda fountain is broken. Our waitress came out and said that she can give us canned soda and«pour it in the back» which made no sense to us so we ordered waters around instead. Next, it took about 30 minutes for our food to be brought out, which we didn’t mind because we are a group of 11, but once I got my plate(2 eggs with bacon and house fries) the bacon and the house fries were COLD! I’m guessing the manager saw that there was something wrong and walked over and he immediately took care of it. Also, another employee that was assisting our waitress in bringing out the food was extremely rude and had an attitude as if we did not know what we ordered, when in fact, they were the ones who mixed all of the plates up. This place gets 2 stars because the food wasn’t bad at all and the manager took care of our conflict immediately. But other than that, the service was horrible.

My husband and I were staying at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino where this restaurant is located. I am glad it was open late because I was starving. We walked in and there was no wait. We each had an appetizer and entrée. The appetizers were so big that we boxed our entrees to go(also the food took long). The food was good from what I remembered. I had a bite of the cold leftovers in the morning and it wasn’t bad then either. The staff was nice, so nice that when the older lady at the table next to us took her rabbit(yes, rabbit) out to show it off, her server told her kindly that she needs to keep the animal in the bag. The hostess and our server were also very friendly.

The Green Room closed and Rise is trying to take up the difference, it is not going well. So slow! No organization. Very disappointed.

This is my go-to place to eat at the casino. #1 because it’s next to the non-smoking blackjack tables(by the pool), where I play. And #2 because it’s cheap and filling. In the bakery section, you can grab a roast beef or turkey sandwich for $ 5. It’s fresh and tastes very good. The bakery is also one of the best in Tampa, in my opinion. They have a pretty good selection of items that are all tempting. Try the fruit tarts or the chocolate chunk cookie(best ever, esp when it just came out of the oven) or one of their incredible cakes. If you eat in the restaurant section, you should try the chicken pot pie. I believe it’s $ 12 but it’s well worth it. It is HUGE. It’s basically two meals. The crust is what makes this pot pie better than any other pot pie you’ve ever had. It’s flaky, airy, with the right amount of crisp. The service is also really good at Rise, whether you’re in the bakery section or in the restaurant. TIP: You can also order from their main menu in the bakery(See menu at cash register). There may be a longer than usual wait because of the logistics but it’s an option if you just want to eat in the bakery section.

Not bad, not good. Perfect for a quick snack in between those gambling binges. I tried a fresh-fruit tart that was pretty good, a fair danish, a decent cupcake, and two different wraps that were about as nondescript as any food item can get. There are several way more tasty options at the Hard Rock if you find yourself hungry on a rock star night in Tampa.

The prices here were steep, but this restauratnt is in the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino so that’s expected. My café mocha(?) was $ 4.25. My friend’s drink was simple and plain as well according to her. Their pastry was good though as I sample a few pieces of the danish item from my friend. This place was pretty spacious and well lit with plenty of seats to choose from. You can sit near the window and have a view of the hotel’s private poolside.

This is the last meal, the last time I don’t complain about poor service, the last time I don’t complain about misleading menus! I should have known this would not go well… I really hate being ignored entering a restaurant while the employees talk to each other rather then seeing me to a table. Then when I’m taken to an area I ask to be seated in, the host says«no, no one is working in that area» proceeds to seat me nearby, and then the next people to be seated are at the very table I had just asked for! When I’m paying for a meal I expect to be served with respect, efficiency, and by employees who give a dam. The waitress we got stuck with failed miserably. Couldn’t care less about our needs… just ran thru the motions like a robot. Very unpleasant… I should have asked to be moved; never again. We ordered the Italian sandwich… the menu says it comes on a ciabatta roll. It didn’t. The roll was a soft loaf and was dry and tasteless, almost inedible. The potato chips(made in-house) were just plain bad, mostly overcooked, yuk. And lastly, what happened to the desserts? Whole front of restaurant was curtained off… no explanation or sign. All in all, very sad excuse for a restaurant in a Seminole casino.

Fellow Unilocalers, 5 stars for just pastries and desserts, 3 stars for overall restaurant quality and food Taste. Compared to a similar type place to Toojays dinners. With sandwiches hot or cold and daily specials. Soups of the day, and a amazing pastry selection. I would highly recommend this place if your looking for a good soup to eat there or to take with you. And also if your having a sweet tooth. By far the best desserts in the entire hard rock casino. The rise restaurant is tucked in a new area inside just next to the pool area. Service has always been very pleasant here.

Nice and spacious new casual eatery in the Hard Rock. One side is a full restaurant with plenty of seating and there is a small dessert/bakery/snack area with some seating connected to it. As this casino has gone through an expansion they needed a spot like this. Dropped in here recently when out on a gambling day with the parental units. Dad and I got the munchies while mom was out somewhere attacking the slot machines. We checked out the menu and saw it was mainly comfort food and decided to sit down for a lunch feast. Hot damn — the portions are pretty big here! Reasonable prices. Food was tasty. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the rotisserie chicken that came with two sides, dad had the carvery roast beef sandwich, along with bottomless iced tea and a Doc Browns Cream soda. Nice perk is that they have their own house made potato chips to go with the sandwiches. My chicken was juicy and had a nice smoky flavor to it. It just happened that as soon as we dug in mom found us broke up the party. She ordered the tuna melt which was a huge sandwich that also came with chips. You get a lot here for the price. Overall, a pretty decent meal and good spot to grab a bite in while gambling here.

Thanks to fellow Unilocaler’s I had a nice experience here. I saw my neighbor eating a turkey sandwich that looked like a Fred Flintstone sandwich! I ordered that with the homemade potato chips!!! My lunch was out of this world. Very attentive service. I will come back again. The lunch was on the casino, I used my winnings to pay for it!!!

I’ve been here three times over the last year and everything was yummy. Prices are good and enough food served for sharing. Grilled cheese and veggie pizza during recent visit. Both items warm, tasty, and there were no leftovers.

Unlike the other review… I actually enjoyed this place. It is an informal restaurant that focuses on comfort food. Council Oakes is for special occasions and Fresh Harvest is a bit too pricey for me for an evening buffet… especially if I have already made my «donations» to area tables and slots. I started with a White Bean and Spinach Soup that was very good, but could have been toned down by 1000mgs less of sodium. It also came with two very delicious yeast rolls… Next, I had the design your own sandwich of sliced turkey and cranberry mayo on wheat bread. Very good and had a large portion of meat. The sandwich was accompanied by fresh made potato chips and a sliced dill pickle. My wife had the chicken pot pie, that to be honest, was almost the size of Rhode Island. It was clearly enough for two, maybe even three. So if you order it, come hungry. It was very good, but she was not able to finish it! Our waitstaff was excellent and made sure that everything was made to our order. I definitely would come back, but this time, I would make sure to leave room for some wonderful pastries that we saw in the case out front.

I was thoroughly disappointed with the quality of food at Rise Kitchen and Bakery. I wasn’t feeling particularly hungry when I went to this establishment located inside of The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. So me and my wife shared a Cesar Salad with Chicken and we sampled their Bacon and Onion Tater Tots with Balsamic Ketchup and their Macaroni and Cheese bites. The Cesar Salad was the biggest disappointment so I will start there. The lettuce was rather wilted and the dressing can only be described as rancid. The chicken, which costs and extra $ 2, was hard, dry, and overall tasted like it had been pan fried 2 weeks prior and refrigerated since. I was going to send it back but my wife does not like me doing that. The Bacon and Onion Tater Tots were OK, the Bacon tasted like ham which really overpowered any other flavor and the Balsamic Ketchup tasted like straight balsamic vinegar and really tasted to strong for a dip. The Macaroni and Cheese bites were rather bland and tasteless, they were also huge and did not resemble bites at all and when you bite into them they crumble and fall everywhere. the dip with them was just some extra cheese so the restaurant is at least aware that the bites themselves are rather dry and cheese-less. So after that disappointing meal we went to the bakery in hopes that the pastries were a redeeming quality. I was wrong. I ordered a brownie with chocolate ganache on top and my wife ordered their black and white brownie. let me tell you the brownie tasted exactly like it came out of a Little Debbie’s box. it was overly floury and tasteless and the ganache covering it was the same flavor. I can’t even comprehend how you mess up chocolate but they succeeded. My wife’s brownie was the same taste despite having white chocolate in it. there was no flavor distinction between the two. I know now to eat before I go to gamble at the Hard Rock.
