Only giving a one star because I have to leave something. I’ve been here before and enjoyed it but the last two times I’ve been I’ve been met with rude nasty bartenders that get angry when you interrupt their conversations with their friends. I was assaulted by one bartender who proceeded to throw things at my party when they didn’t like someone in my group. I will never be back. It’s sad when you’re in hospitality yet you have none yourself. Lear how to handle different types not everyone is going to kiss your ass just because your not wearing a shirt!

I am a bisexual woman, and I visited The Body Shop for the first time last night. I was with my best friend, who is a gay man and recommended it. It is your classic small, smokey neighborhood bar. The customers were mostly men, but there were a few women as well. The bar tenders were friendly and the drinks were STRONG. They have a small stage/​dance area, a patio, dart boards, and a pool table. They also had several TVs and a juke box shaped to look like a large MP3 player. I had several rum and cokes and a Long Island and came out quite tipsy :-). I took off one star because they weren’t able to make a mai tai. But other than that, the bar is a great place to hang out and relax on a Saturday night.

I think this place used to be called Keiths or something else my alcohol atrophied brain can’t remember. I haven’t been here since the 90’s but it was a nice place to just kick back and have a drink and unwind after work or hanging with the crazies after a show at Skipper’s Smokehouse. I ran into some dude here once who had a membership to Paradise Lake’s and we went there once hee hee.

I am so glad we found this bar! A very relaxed, fun atmosphere, with super friendly staff, good prices, and great (but not too loud and overpowering) music. You can play pool, darts, hang out on the patio outside. This is a great neighborhood gay bar, a wonderful place to have a couple drinks with friends and actually be able to talk to and hear those friends! Plus, unlike the dance bars of Ybor, you can actually park for FREE here, huge plus! My partner and I finally visited this place after a night of loud crowded bars, and were so pleased, we will be back often!

My favorite gay bar in town. Staff are super friendly and the drinks are nice and strong! They do happy hour every day till 8 and stay open most days till 3am. The music videos are interesting and the jukebox is the coolest I have ever seen before. It’s definitely a neighborhood bar which is nice. The music isn’t so loud that you can’t hear each one another talk and there’s a nice outside patio. It seems like it’s really far away but we live in Seminole Heights and it’s actually faster easier to get to than going out to Ybor.
