Dr Ben-​Zur is THE most dedicated doctor we have ever encountered. He treats his patients as if they were his own family. He gives his patients his private cell number where he can be reached 24 hours a day 7 days a week. He wants to be available directly for his patients and not through an exchange. Even though he is a highly skilled cardiac surgeon, We’re especially appreciative of the fact that Dr Ben-​Zur strives to make his patients well through healthy living rather than drugs or surgical intervention. Because of Dr Ben-​Zur we are living a healthier lifestyle, and one with much more peace of mind knowing that he is always available. Richard and Kathryn L.

When I was 18 years old, I came in for a small check-​up and found out that I had an enlarged heart with atrial arrhythmias. I was on the operating table within a week. I’ll never forget how scared I was going in, and how Dr. Ben-​Zur immediately calmed me with a reassuring tone, a big smile, and a pat on the back with his big, big hands.
I had consulted with another cardiologist who told me, wrongly so, that nothing was wrong.
I wouldn’t trust anyone other than Dr. Ben-​Zur with my heart again. He saved my life.
And that’s not even why this place is so amazing.
I’ve never seen a doctor’s office like it. Every single person here is incredibly kind and caring — especially the doctor himself. It doesn’t feel like they’re doing you a favor, they make you feel like a true friend, and that they all really care.
I actually get excited for my check-​ups here because it is such a pleasant, positive environment.
Dr. Ben-​Zur absolutely lives for his patients and you are in very, very caring hands with him and his skilled, awesome team.
Honestly, this place is a blessing and I’m very grateful to have found Uri, Ramiro and the team. If I didn’t, not only would I not be here, I would have never gotten to know these incredible people, and I would have not known how amazing a doctor’s office can be. I mean seriously — it’s a doctor’s office and people are happy and smiling here — it’s an incredible feat.
The world is a far brighter place because of the Cardiovascular Institute, the lives they have saved, and the smiles they have contributed.
Plus — they don’t make you wait in a waiting room. Gotta love that!

I went to Dr Ben-​Zur over a year ago with a concern that I was having some heart issues after not being convinced at a previous hospital that I had been diagnosed correctly. I was having symptoms of feeling as if I was going to lose consciousness and I felt my heart stop beating a couple of times and then run like a roadrunner seconds later. Dr Ben-​Zur and his staff listened to my concerns thoroughly and took me through some extensive testing to see if they could find anything wrong. The previous hospital had given me Zantax to control my symptoms but I refused to take them accept for the night before I decided to go see Dr Ben-​Zur. He taught me the risks that I took by taking the one dose and after finding no positive signs of heart issues he reported to me that my symptoms were pure anxiety related to my difficulty dealing with a friend who had passed away a few days previous. He told me what I needed to change in my diet if I wanted to reduce and resolve the symptoms. To this day he was right and I have been passing on his education onto my clients and have confidently referred him several clients who needed more help beyond my capacity.
