I’ve come to realize that many urgent care facilities are not people friendly and maybe they’re just in the business of charging your insurance company. This may not be the case with all urgent care facilities, but as of late I’ve had some of thee worst experiences in these places. This location being the worst! I searched online for a location that was still open and came across this one that stayed open until 10 pm. I rushed over because for a day and a half I was in real pain but felt it wasn’t emergency room serious. I arrived at 9:30 pm and immediately one of the medical assistants ran to the back as if to go and tell the others, at this time I was the only person in the lobby, when I was called back the medical assistant who took my vitals told me that for future knowledge to call ahead before I come in because they like to leave on time and that coming in 30 minutes before closing pisses the staff off! I was completely taken aback by this inappropriate comment and to make matters worse she proceeded to tell me that at times some of the doctors would leave 30 minutes early so that they wouldn’t have to see more patients and the staff would have to turn people away because there would be no physician on site. What kind of place operated in this manner?! The doctor spent all of 10 minutes with me without checking anything, he came in, gave a diagnosis and prescribed medication, then he left the room and said no more patients, I’m leaving. Needless to say, I will not be back here again, this staff was rude and unprofessional to say the least and in life, you never get a second chance to make a first impression!

Me and my family have used this urgent care several times and they have always gotten us in and out in a timely manner. I have an infant and the nurse there was so compassionate towards him when he was sick it was unbelievable. She calmed him right down which helped ease my nerves as well. My family and I have seen several doctors here and have always been happy with how thorough and caring they seem to be. I’ve seen other reviews about this place and in all the times I have been there I have not experienced anything negative. The waiting area could use an update but we’ve never had to wait more than a couple minutes to see a doctor I really haven’t cared. Overall a great urgent care when you need one.

I’ve been here 4 times. 3x with the kids and 1x for myself. Couple times I’ve driven by and seen a full waiting room. However, each time I’ve been here the wait has been less than 15 minutes. The office is clean and easy to find. It’s right right before the Heritage Hospital entrance, using the same drive way as Sears Outlet and Ollie’s. The medical assistants and receptionists can be snooty and short, but the doctors are friendly and thorough. The level is care is most important and it’s always been more than acceptable. We’ve been here for rashes, stomach flu, impacted ear wax, etc. and I’ve never left feeling that it’s been a waste of time. Compared to other urgent cares downriver(where drug addicts flood the waiting room and pill-pushing, impatient, arrogant doctors float in and out of patient rooms at their leisure), this place is the top choice for quick and quality care.

Yes. A lot of the time it’s not a wait here. But if you’ve never waited then it’s cuz you’ve never been here on a busy day. I have been here many times. And the receptionist is always rude. Never smiles. Acts like your bothering her. Seems to be typical in Urgent Cares. Same situation as the Park Urgent Care on Southfield Rd. Very rude & insensitive receptionists. And if you get the female Dr then your really gonna feel uncomfortable. She’s cold & rude. I felt horrible one time when I went in there with an ear infection. I was so miserable I didn’t want to go to work. So I asked her for a work note. She told me an ear infection isn’t a good enough reason to miss work. I thought, everyone deals with pain & illness in different ways. And there’s also a creepy male Dr with curly hair that works there. He’s got some creepy bugged out eyes that move all around when he’s speaking to you. And seemed to act very nervous & like he didn’t know how to do his job when I brought my 7 yr old daughter in there one time. My guess is they can’t handle children. So I just take her to her regular Dr now. Cuz they don’t specialize in kids. And clearly do not know what they are doing. There’s so many medical offices that treat ppl poorly.

Now, this is an urgent care, so don’t be surprised when you walk in and it’s…plain. There are no monstrous fake plants, comfortable chairs, etc. But, the décor isn’t really why you’re there, right? I’ve been to this urgent care a handful of times and it’s the fastest one I’ve ever been to, hands down. I can honestly say I’ve never waited more than 5 minutes in the waiting room. The doctor has always been in after about 5 – 10 minutes, quickly resolved whatever problem, and I was on my way. This place is never busy. I’m not sure why. Maybe because people just run next door to the hospital or go to Midwest about 10 minutes away. Whatever the reason, it’s not necessarily a bad thing, right? No wait!
