Alan at the front desk is Awesome! His level of customer service was great. I was here on business. He recommended places to eat and always opened the door for me since I had to carry a lot of stuff. This was my 2nd year in a row at this hotel. It’s run down and could use a remodel but if you don’t care about that it’s a good place to stay for the money.

We have stayed here and across the street at the Holiday Inn Express which is always at least $ 30+more/night. Since we are only in the room at night to sleep it isn’t worth the extra $ 30+more/night to stay at HIE. Ramada is clean enough with a decent breakfast — although we have had a non-smoking room before that smelled smoky/musty. Given the amount of times we have stayed here(at least 1 – 2 every year since 2004), i would say we have been more pleased than unhappy with our visit. Staff has always been nice. Close to McDonald’s, Pizza Hut, everything in the small town really. Cya in a few weeks!

In Tell City, there are 3 hotel options. We opted for the Ramada, due to its location off of the main strip, rumored drug use at another, and a local’s recommendation. The location was quiet, however the walls were thin, leading us to hear what could only be described as a track meet from the guest in the room above us. Room was clean, Air conditioning cool, The only odd thing was the lone flickering lamp in the room with the lights all off. Time to call Ghostbusters? Nope, just removed the bulb. Overall good value… you get what you pay for. :)
