I would argue the best place to get boots in the United States. They take time to make sure you are comfortable and correctly fitted. They continue to make adjustment until you are 100% satisfied. even if you didn’t get your boots there, they will fix them for almost nothing.

These people know their stuff. I dealt with Mike M. who did all sorts of measurements on my feet and put me in a pair of Rossignols that I’m ultimately decided on. Very friendly, low pressure, and they seem to really know their stuff when it comes to ski boot fitting. Highly recommend.

Great bootfitters I had been to one in my home town and they didn’t know jack compared to these guys. They spent maybe a half hour with me figuring out my issues with my ski boots and made some simple adjustments and while they are still not fitting perfectly they are better than before and cost me all of $ 21.00. Well worth the cost.

This place is so professional and helpful. You can tell the employees know what they are doing and love their jobs. They are great, so knowledgeable and customer service oriented, especially Liam, he helped us and was so nice! We are motivated to return to Telluride when we are ready to purchase ski boots, just so we can buy them from these guys! Thanks again!

I am amazed with the amount of knowledge each person on this store had. My husband and I both ended up buying skis and boots here. I really liked how they were willing to be patient with both of us and understood our needs from an equipment and skiing ability stand point. Their prices and the usual ski prices but I felt very conformable buying from these guys. The demo program is great and super convenient.

Telluride in the summer is stunning, and with mountain bikes rented from Bootdoctors we enjoyed the beauty from Prospect Trail. Rental service was excellent and the equipment top notch — great bike shop for all levels of cyclists, knowledgeable staff and wide selection toon of gear!

I would NEVER suggest that anyone book a rafting trip from Bootdoctors. They make you wear wetsuits while rafting due to the cold water temperatures, however, they don’t wash the wetsuits between each use. I felt dirty during the entire experience, and developed a bad rash a few days after my rafting trip. Ultimately, this company is disgusting and unclean, I would never suggest it to anyone.

Beware of this tourist cash trap, they reel you in and before you know it you’ll be borrowing from the bank. They are nice folks over there, but the prices are off the wall and their so-​called «guaranteed comfort» comes to realization after you bring them back to be «altered» to your foot and let them charge you another $ 250 for something that you «need». Any Telluride local will tell you to stay away from this place, for obvious reasons. BEWARE of their policy claiming that your boots are under warranty when you buy them. If ANYTHING goes wrong with your boots they charge you full price to repair and «waive» their labor charge (usually about 6 – 7 minutes of work for them). Get ready to drop another $ 200. I like their selection, but all in all they just steal money from rich people they know they can take advantage of — it’s sad, but a business model that certainly works in this town. A $ 700 pair of boots there will end up costing you $ 1400-​$ 1500 once they get you all your «necessities» for the boot… Hit up Telluride Sports, great guys over there, reasonable prices too.

Though they offer «customer satisfaction» related to boots fitting properly, their promise is disingenuous. I bought a pair of boots and they were very uncomfortable. Every time I returned to advise of my displeasure, they said try this, try that or buy a boot heater, which I did. Ultimately, I returned and said I tried everything and nothing you’ve suggested worked. Their retort at that point was, well it’s now too late, sorry. When I spoke with the owner, he replied — sorry you had a bad experience. Telluride Sports is far superior and where I ultimately bought my replacement boots.

After last season, I was uncertain if I could ski again this year. Had Morton’s Neuroma in my left foot and tender spots on both feet such that I could barely walk for an hour after taking off my ski boots. This year, Bob Gleason at Bootdoctors fit me in a new pair that solved all the problems. Best ski boots I’ve ever owned; nothing previous comes close. Skiing Telluride with happy feet is as good as it gets.

Just extraordinary knowledge, service, attention and from some of the friendliest people out there. Bob is a true world-​class expert. But everyone there cares and knows a lot and will work really hard to send you out happy and they won’t up-​sell you except for the sake of your skiing and comfort. Seriously, they have no real competition in Telluride and nobody in my experience elsewhere in CO, Utah, or NY either. Just exceptional service; great demo selection; worth walking the extra 50 or so feet from Telluride Sports/​the Gondola. So worth it. They’ll save your feet. And take your skiing up a notch. Go!

Great spot! Definitely a place to try while in Telluride. Superior knowledge and selection than the other places I checked out. I was surprised how friendly and fast the staff was.

When in Telluride do as the Telluridians? Whatever, these guys knew how to set me up for my snowboarding excursion. Gear was high quality and staff was super helpful.
Unilocal hooked me up with a a check-​in discount which was clutch! Would definitely go back and rent… as soon as my should heals from tearing a tendon!

I came in with boots I’d bought at home in CA and had a fitter there work on. Still I couldn’t ski a half day without my toes going numb, and I had a week of skiing ahead of me.
Even though I said I’d buy new boots if that was what was needed, Xander was confident he could fix the problem. He spent nearly 2 hours fitting inserts, shaving footbeds and stretching the boots. It cost far less than I expected, was a fraction of the cost of new boots, and my feet have never been happier.
Thank you to a great group of professionals who are not only expert fitters, but also top notch in customer service!

Love these guys. I have such high arches that I need a custom orthotic. I was fitted in my Scarpa T-Race’s and will be coming back for my next set. Thanks again guys!

First time in 30 years that ski boots ever felt good! Great friendly knowledgeable staff too

Spending a week in Telluride for the bluegrass festival we were looking for some extra activities to do. My son and I went fly fishing with Adam the guide provided by BootDoctors. The staff in the shop were friendly and efficient getting us ready to go. Adam drove us out to a few locations on the San Miguel river and took the time to freshen up our casting skills and teach us some fly fishing technique. Us novices found Adam to be extremely helpful and patient. It was an added bonus that my son and I both caught some sturdy wild Rainbow Trout. Adam was a guide second to none and will be called every time I return to the paradise of Telluride.
We also hired BootDoctors (aka Further Adventures) for a half day mountain biking trip. After a little confusion at the beginning with getting the trip started our family of four thoroughly enjoyed the ride. Our driver Ben and guide Mark were super friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. Mark explained the history of the area to us and pointed out the many interesting landmarks. He even did a quick bike repair on the trail to make the bike more comfortable for my 9 year old daughter.
Can not recommend these people strongly enough.
