I have to disagree about the shop. If you got kicked out, there must have been a good reason. I have been there several times during Old Town events, and seen many Kids in the shop and they are treated very well. The owner and his wife are very attentive to you and your Kids needs. Never seen the owners tell the Kids to behave or get out. The behavior of the Kids is the responsibility of the Parents. Are you sure that it was your son or you? Look, but do not touch, should be their motto, as it was with my Parents.

THIS IS A GREAT PLACE!
I bought a Lionel Polar Express Train set for my grandson here. It was a delightful experience. These people are KIND, PATIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE and genuinely love what they do. When buying trains you need people like this.

A tiny, yet fascinating ‘model railroading’ focused hobby shop.
They have a few trains running, and a bunch of engines and freight cars on display. If anything it’s a good stop if you have kids and you’re walking through Old Town Temecula.

Unlike the San Diego model train museum, you can buy the cool engines and cars here.
They have older track for sale.
Owner is a wealth of model train knowledge.
