We were out and about doing some wine tasting at a few new places. The grounds here are nice and green on the outside patio area. Although I think the grass is fake, lol … We had the free wine tasting with Unilocal and then purchased a second to try a different set of wine. It was ok. Nothing really that I would say I want to come back or anything extraordinary that I wanted to buy as far as the wine. Parking was decent. The employes are friendly, again just ok though…

Faulkner Winery is a winery with a rustic décor to it. Wines here are mediocre, but the employees are really friendly and fun, and I love their warm mulled spiced wine in the winter. In fact I like their Luscious Lips wine very much. Ive used it to make sangria and I’ve drank it just as it is. This may not be my favorite winery but I do like it and I’ll definitely be back. I hope to also try their restaurant soon.

I love to hang out at Faulkner Winery on Sunday afternoons in summer. They usually have music, BBQ, and of course wine! They serve the BEST sangria!

They usually have weddings in this area on the weekends, so coming with kids during the weekdays only are recommended. Great red wine! They have the oldest vines in Temecula.» «Love Falkner in the fall for their famous mulled wine! Falkner has a great back area that is fun for the kids and has plenty of covered seating for the moms. Its also close to the tasting room so you can easily go in and out for a tasting. However, if you have a mobile toddler it can be a little stressful because there’s a pretty steep drop down to the street and for some reason the kids are attracted to that area! But its a great picnic area with a beautiful view. Parking is close by and easy to walk from with a stroller. The restrooms are in the back of the tasting room so you do have to walk through the winery gift shop to get to them. The staff was very friendly and didn’t seem to mind all of the kids running around at all. We all enjoyed the mulled wine and kids had a blast!» «One of my favorite wineries! Love the large grassy area for kids to run around.» «It’s a good winery for older kids or none at all. Not much to do. It has a picnic area but that’s it.»

I was really looking forward to visiting Falkner after seeing it from the road on a previous trip. However, our experience wasn’t that great. I guess maybe I would say it was okay. I felt incredibly rushed and that the servers really did not want to pay attention to us. We had questions, but more often than not, our wine was poured and the server was basically walking away at the same time. The tastings were cheap, the wine was pretty good. I enjoyed the Irresistable Rosato as an easy to drink wine, the 2014 Risqué Riesling was very good and not too sweet for what it was… I also tried my friend’s 2012 Port that was quite tasty. Everyone really enjoyed the 2012 «Hot Lips» — we all noted that it was delicious and a perfect drink for a snowy night. It was really crowded in the tasting room(shoulder to shoulder) so maybe that had something to do with it. Either way, really pretty vineyard area, just wish our experience had been better!

This was my first stop on a wine tasting spree I did with my best friend and boyfriend. I have never been to Temecula and this winery was near to the house we were staying at. The reviews convinced us to come and the free taste with check in was icing on top. We got the 6 tastings with the souvenir glass and 5 dollars off a bottle is a great deal! The tastings were great and the grounds were beautiful. I can only imagine how great it looks I’m the springtime. The staff was very attentive and knew the wines well providing great insight into what to choose to taste. I loved the roscato, the merlot, and the cabernet sauvignon. The hot lips wine is excellent. I have never had a warm wine, so that was a pleasant surprise. I ended up buying a bottle of the cabernet to bring home. We decided to leave when a huge party arrived and were glad we had the place to ourselves for as long as we did. Overall, it was a great experience and I will be coming back!!!

This place is actually my favorite winery for wine tasting in Temecula. First, it is not crowded and it offers comfortable wine tasting area. Second, this place is pet friendly. Third, they have this hot wine that I enjoyed so much. Last but not least, the service was super friendly. Some of the wineries in Temecula overtake the customers because they want to make as much $$ as possible which I don’t blame them. However, I like how this place is chill and quiet. The view was also incredible. They offer this hot sweet wine in the end of wine tasting which I really enjoyed. It was a little chilly the day so this hot wine definitely warmed our body up. Feel free to grab your wine and walk around outside and enjoy the moment of peace. Will definitely come back.

The location is the best part of this winery. The wine and staff are just mediocre. You can find much better wineries in the area. I did a sampling of their wines and thought they were really average tasting. There was nothing I tried that really peaked my interest. I’ve had much better experience with other local wineries in the area.

4 stars for the wine. They offer a free tasting with check in so don’t forget. They have a great selection of reds and whites. The food at the restaurant didn’t have many choices for a vegetarian and was spicy.

Last stop of the day for my friends and I and we arguably had the best red wine here. We tried a few tasting on the list, but fell in love with their Meritage Merlot. We paired it with some spicy cheddar cheese, Brie, and crackers. The wine was bold, yet, subtle for the palate. Save the best for last! Service was also very nice and friendly. They close at 5, but they let us stay until they were all fully closed up. A friend of ours recommended this place! The view is amazing too! Please come here if you get the chance!

this is one of my favorite wineries. The staff was excellent and very knowledgeable. They were able t make great suggestions for all of our different palates. I love that the atmosphere was very chill and relax. pretty spacious with two main bars and one private room in the back for member events. Ive heard that their best seller is luscious lips! Although too sweet for me, it was rated up there by my fellow friends.

I had two girlfriends in town visiting and the trip wouldn’t be complete without some wine tasting in Temecula Valley. This winery was our first stop on the list. We accidentally walked in the side door where it’s for wine club only. Everyone turned to stare at us, it was a bit awkward. There were tables and chairs in that room, not in the tasting room though. We were re-directed to the proper spot for the common folk aka non wine club members. We received very attentive service when we first arrived. However, it was a very windy day and the doors to the tasting room kept being blown open and knocking items off the wall. It was a good thing no one was standing under the one metal object when it clanked to the ground. That quickly became the focus of attention of our wine server. He had someone take over who was brand new there and you could tell. She was super sweet, but not very knowledgable about the wines or how they were made. I don’t believe that was her fault, maybe she should have received better training? I only tried sips of a couple of wines because I was the driver. I tried the sauvignon blanc and the hot lips. The sauvignon was good, but the hot lips I didn’t care for too much. It’s a red wine that is mulled with spices and served warm. It’s like Christmas in your mouth, but I would not be able to drink a whole glass of it. My friends did the premium tasting for $ 15 where you get 6 tastings and a coupon for $ 5 off a bottle of wine. The coupon is only valid for use on same day. None of us were overly impressed with the wine, so we gave our coupons to the girls standing next to us who were buying some bottles. The other option is 4 tastings for $ 10. If you check in on Unilocal you get 1 additional tasting for free. The actual tasting room is quite small and if it’s busy I could see a problem being in there. There were only a couple of other people in there so it wasn’t bad. They did have outdoor seating, but it was wayyy too windy to be sitting outside.

My sister in law picked this winery, and I figured it was worth trying them out again, Gorgeous views, nice grounds, love the lawn outside. Multiple tasting areas so it didn’t seem overly crowded even though it was busy. Tasting is cheap, either $ 10 or $ 15. For $ 15 you get to keep your glass and you get $ 5 off a bottle of wine. Good deal. Server was really nice, good sense of humor. We did feel rushed though. The second we finished one taste he was on us to select the next one. It was hard to relax here. The wines were alright. I can’t do sweet wines anymore, but my friends love sweet wines, and they really enjoyed all the sweet offerings. Their dry whites weren’t that great, and their reds were all super leathery. I did like their seasonal hot mulled wine, that was very good. Glad we stopped here, but I won’t be adding it to my regular rotation.

Stopped by this winery on our weekend excursion to Temecula. Let me start by saying the grounds are nice and the wines are good. The service while tasting was a little slow but overall we enjoyed ourselves. Make sure you try the Luscious Lips Sangria it’s really good!

We used a two-for-one tasting coupon from (showed on phone, didn’t have to print). We also got an extra wine tasting by checking in on Unilocal! The wine was good, but not as good as the others we visited that day. Nice staff. They close at 5pm. Beautiful views from the property!

Gorgeous setting for a wedding! I attended a good friend’s wedding here last weekend & everything was perfect. I love the area for the wedding, it’s a nice spot that overlooks the vineyard & provides a fantastic spot for pictures. Trees lined up provide a gorgeous arch for the wedding party to walk through. The Pinnacle restaurant was beautiful & the staff were very attentive & nice. It’s a decent size for a reception. The food was delicious! A nice salad with fruit & walnuts & I believe strawberry vinaigrette dressing. The steak was amazing! I enjoyed the sautéed vegetables, too. All the details were amazing. Perfect experience!

Last stop to our winery tour, and I’m so glad we came here last. Their selections were inexpensive but on par to some of the major wineries in Napa. Tastings start at $ 15 for six tastings and comes with free wine glass. For each taste, they give you a chip to ‘redeem’, which is great way to grab a taste, take a walk around the grounds and come back for more tastes. Of their selections, I thought their Viogner and luscious lips was best. They make their ‘hot toddy’ with the luscious lips red and recipe is available upon request. If you join their club, shipping of 6 bottles is $ 30, which is kinda pricey.

Small Winery. Great service. 2 for 1 tasting coupon on there website. Normal tasting is $ 13.89. Tastings came with a $ 5 off wine coupon so they suckered me into buying some wine bottles. Pet friendly. Open on New Years Day. Red wines were very good.
