Very impressed with Jeff. He answered some questions for me about my solar system and my salt water system… questions I have been asking Leslies for a long time with no result. He explained things to me in a way that even I could understand. I felt he was very honest when he could easily have taken advantage and had me buy things I didn’t need. Highly recommend him and I will definitely call again as Im pretty sure there isn’t a pool problem he cant fix. Nice low-​key guy.

My pool construction was completed during fall 2013. The pool builder installed Jandy equipment. The builder had difficulty with various portions of the equipment installation. The builder also could not get the equipment synchronized properly. I contacted Jeff of Freedom Pools, who is a local representative of Jandy and performs warranty work. He came over and quickly resolved all of the issues within minutes, whereas the builder had spent days. Jeff is impressively knowledgeable about pool equipment, including the internal operations of the equipment. I have called upon Jeff several times since. He quickly responses and quickly resolves issues. In one instance, I discovered that the builder did not install a multi-​speed circulation pump, which is required by California law. The builder would not agree to correct the issue. I contracted with Jeff of Freedom Pool Service separately. He installed a replacement pump can gave me a break on the cost taking into consideration my situation with the builder. He also contacted Jandy and got the replacement pump included in the original warranty. In another circumstance, I overloaded the controller board by turning on various actuators too quickly. It blew a fuse. Jeff came over early the next morning and fixed the problem. Recently, he also helped me to find a quality contractor for installing a solar heating system for the pool.
I highly recommend Freedom Pool Service and particularly Jeff Spiegel. His attention to customer service is outstanding.
