I can’t say enough good things about this place. The volunteers that donate their time are really helpful.

This is a great place to shop if you’re looking to save a little on household goods and appliances AND donate to a worthy cause! I got a beautiful NEW Persian-style rug here for only $ 34.99…and they have a variety of sizes and styles. This is also a great place to volunteer your time! I’ve mostly donated large pictures here, but they accept a variety of things. Just please keep in mind whether someone else is likely to purchase it.

I love this place!!! Everytime I go in everyone is so nice, I always find something new and exciting, I buy the entertainment centers paint them n turn them into something new, there are plenty of items that don’t need to be redone and also some that can be project pieces! I love it!!!

What the heck? They think they are the Nordstroms of Thrift Stores… Picky on FREE donations, yet the crap they sell looks worse. They seem ungrateful… To me, they were polite because my item was worth $ 100 for them, but I watched them turn three people away… There are better places to give. Besides, Habitat has only built a small handful of houses here in the Valley… very poorly run so called charity…

I wanted to donate an expensive couch and loveseat reclining set, but the HFH driver told us that the cushions looked too«old». We actually loved the set, and would have kept it, but it didn’t fit into our new house. He said most of the stuff they accepted was fairly new. Hello!!! This is stuff for people in need, not people who are looking to redecorate their chalets. I then called the Salvation Army, who were more than happy to accept the donation. I wonder if HFH needs to revaluate their true mission. I will never donate to them again. I’ll save all of my donations, including cash, for those organizations like the Salvation Army, who are working in the best interests of those they serve.

This is a great cause so I donate all of my clients’ construction materials, old appliances, lights and unwanted furniture here. I’m a professional organizer and help people get rid of tons of stuff; especially when they’re moving.(They don’t take clothes or mattresses). Before driving all the way over when donating, call them to see if they’ll take certain items. They might pick up if you have quantities of great stuff. They will not go upstairs, so have everything in the garage. Again, call first. Once they agreed to take 4 huge wheels from a moving client when no one else would take them, so they are flexible. You can shoot pics on your phone and email them to be certain they’ll take your items. People I work with feel better about giving things away when they know it’s going to help build a home for someone. You never know what you’ll find here at the ReStore. It’s a bit of a of a treasure hunt. Sometimes I go away empty-handed. I don’t mind because I like to hold out for unusual pieces — I buy old furniture and paint it for a hobby and teach classes on faux painting. I don’t always find something to repurpose, but I go pretty regularly. I like walking through the warehouse. I always bring something to donate whenever I pop in. Parking’s pretty good. The guys are very nice and helpful. The prices are decent. The key is to keep going back and you’ll hit the jackpot.

I thought this place would be nice. It is very crummy and yucky inside. Staff is nice but prices are much too high. Selection almost non existent

Wanted to build a greenhouse. Purchased used windows. It looks awesome and I saved a ton of money reusing old windows. Look forward to my next project.

Came here the other day because I was curious about their offerings. This is a great place for a DIYer to come and get supplies on the cheap. When I was there they had a plethora of light fixtures, rigs, toilets, sinks, cabinets, doors, books, the works. I didn’t see anything I particularly wanted this time but I’m sure their selection changes regularly so I wouldn’t mind checking in every now and again, especially since its near my office.

Really good spot to check before goin to the big stores. Contractors drop off pulled out and excess materials, fixtures, if you buy it for your home they have it here. All of it is way cheaper than retail The staff is nice and helpful

don’t call and ask what a price is or what possibly you may be looking for at this store as they are very rude! I was telling this construction guy about it and he asked me to find out a name brand of several pallets of drywall stuff and the price as he said if price was right he would purchase all of it and the lady who answered was so RUDE!!! so I just told the contractor it was gone!

I truly wish more people knew about this store and donation center. I found out about it having seen a link on Facebook. It is located off the Winchester exit in a business district area that I don’t ever drive in so I never would’ve found it otherwise. H.F.H. sells their donated items here and you can drop off donations as well at this location. The front of the store is fairly small and has NEW as well as used items. They do purchase some things like the rugs/plumbing/hardware items at a low cost and resell them. In the room between that and the warehouse is where they have oodles of books. You can find new books here too since a bookstore had donated over 10 thousand books to H.F.H. My favorite area is the warehouse that isn’t all that apparent you can if you can go into. But yes, it too is open to the public. The store is sort of situated like a house inside so you kinda have to find your way around. The warehouse has more things that they have space to display. You’ll find interior doors, kitchen/bath sinks, cabinets, mini blinds, tile flooring, desks, ceiling fans, PC printers, etc. This is very much like going to an enormous garage sale. You never know what they will have as most everything is donated and it’s not like if they’re out of something you saw a few days ago it will be reordered. Most of the staff is comprised of volunteers so try to be nice to them during this hot summer season :) They have several stores located in Riverside County and some are twice the size! Happy shopping!

This is an amazing hidden gem of a store. They have both new and used furniture, couches, rugs in all sizes for amazing prices. Far better than the prices you’ll find at a lot of other used/donation type stores. They have a big warehouse in the back with even more stuff, various miscellaneous household items, decorative wall pieces and paintings, and a book store! The staff here is amazing. They obviously care about what they do. I believe most of them are volunteers which really shows– they care, and they are there because they choose to me. Going here is like being a kid in a candy store. So many affordable treasures to find. Great things if you’re on a tight budget and need to decorate, fill, and remodel your home.
