Los Primo’s Mexican Food

If you like when you have to repeat your order five times and have it be wrong every single time you order anyways, then eat here because they don’t do anything right.
I’ve given them 8 chances, thinking maybe they had a bad day, nope just incompetent.

I work nearby and have been here quite a few times out of convenience. Last time I ordered their rolled tacos which I was not satisfied with. They had a really gross aftertaste. Their guacamole is not guacamole at all. I’m not quite sure what it is. And today I went and ordered a quesadilla on my lunch. Which is only 30 minutes. I waited in the drive through for 15 minutes… for a tortilla stuffed with cheese? I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Was and is the worst most vile food I’ve ever gotten from a restaurant.
Ordered a chicken burrito and the smell and flavor was absolutely disgusting.
I took 2 bites, one was a mouthful of just nasty tasting flour tortilla and the second was the worst, most foul tasting chicken, to the point of having to spit it out and throw my $ 6.00 burrito away in the trash.
Next day threw up about 7 times, not saying it was the burrito but didn’t eat anything after that moment since it killed my appetite, which at the time i was starving

LAME!!! So I send my daughter and her bf to get breakfast burritos this morning for our crew. We live less than a mile away yet it took them an HOUR to get the food! Not only is it slow but then they had to go order more food because the LAME size of the normal burritos are child size! See pic. And their «monster» burritos are actually normal size burritos. Talk about CHINTZY! Bummer because they used to be good but this is the second time this month– I thought the lame «tiny» bean and cheese last week was just a fluke. Guess they changed. Bye Felicia!

I’ve had a few different burritos from this joint including their breakfast and lunch versions. The Cali burritos they dish are tremendous — huge, tasty, and reasonably priced. If you’re really hungry, I recommend them. If you’re not too hungry, you can cut them in half and they’re enough for two to share. The red sauce — not too hot, not too mild — just right.

I’m from San Diego so I’m use to the best of the when it comes to Mexican taco shops. This place is nasty, food is flavorless. The «hot» sauce taste like tomato sauce and it’s not even mild let alone hot. I am not impressed

Yes, its in a gas station… yes, its clean. yes, its amazing. I have been a long time fan of the Classic Monster burrito (shredded beef) and I think i always will be. Its the size of a small child with just enough «extra stuff» (beans, rice, topped with enchilada sauce) to make it special. Love this place!!!

It was my first and last time to get food from this place. I was 15 minute in drive true after I got my food went home opened the food was really cold. I think food was for yesterday the quality of food was below zero. Don’t go to this place

Let me tell you the good and the bad! And what I got!
Pros/​good:
It shares a wall and door with a gas station mart lol
Prices are reasonable
Service was friendly and professional
Cons:
The salsa sucked sooooo bad its a shame. The red one is the worst! It smelt instantly of canned tomato sauce and tasted just like it, sooo bad.
The habanero sauce is nothing like habanero they says its hot its not even close. The green one is a little better than the other two.

I was content with my buffalo chicken burrito the flavor was there. The one who ate the carne asada burrito thought it could have been warmer. It was on the cold side and her burrito was noticably smaller than mine and both of ours were the same price. the bean and cheese burritos were okay, chips were plain blah, the rolled tacos were okay but the ends were burnt!, the mystery like guacamole had a weird taste to it. And their soda tasted like they don’t use filtered water in it.
The biggest bummer was definitly the salsa bar!
I personally would not recommend going here if your looking for flavor and authentic, true to the advertisments and signs. I would not suggest this place. I would try elsewhere.
3 stars for good customer service to the girl with the monroe piercing, the bean and cheese burritos and buffalo chicken burrito.
But once again… the salsa bar kills the mood.

Came here on my lunch break. Probably one of the worst mistakes I’ve made… The wait wasn’t that bad (it was around 11am) and the staff were friendly. Half way through my drive back to work I opened the container of beef taquitos that I ordered and realized the end of end one was burnt. Unfortunately, I didn’t have the time to turn around and figured I’d break those pieces off to compensate for my hunger… I’m regretting my decision to do that. I will not be returning.

Don’t waste your money, horrible breakfast, undercooked eggs, no flavor in sauce. Salsa bar had some of the worst tasting salsa I’ve had in years. Retried beans from Costco. I feel like I have a ball of shit in my stomach after that meal.

I went here last night around 10pm through the drive through and ordered buffalo chicken fries, fish burrito, and monster Cali burrito. The order took SOOO long! Around 20+ minutes later, we received our order and went home. I opened my container of buffalo chicken fries and saw that the sauce was drenched (which is alright) but the thing that threw me off was the chipotle sauce. The chipotle sauce looked soo mysterious. They were not liquid, they were little clumps all over. Also buffalo sauce was too spicy and didn’t look right either. The fish burrito was SUPER bland. I went here before and got carne asada fries and I really didn’t like their guacamole, it tasted off and looked like it came from a tube. The only reason i’m giving this place a two star is because the buffalo chicken fries tasted alright

Didn’t realize going through the drive thru would take 30 minutes!!! This is my first time here and I will not be back no matter how good the food is. I’ve never waited this long in a drive thru ever! Not even when I go to in and out.
I’m seriously talking about a real 35 minutes now…
37 minutes now.
OK finally getting my food, the lady is nice and wonderful at least!

I come here at least once a week for dinner, they have the best Cali burritos I’ve had in Temecula murrieta area! They have acceptionable customer service! Always give me a ton of red salsa. I would have to say I have tried mostly everything on their menu and everything they make well, for mainstream Mexican food this is pretty close to authentic being half Mexican!!! And they have very good horchata! Give them a shot and they also have drive through so it’s really nice!!! The drive through girls are very sweet they gave me a discount for the long wait!!! And because I was nice and patient with them that’s great cust service!!!
I had to edit my review as I was eating my burrito last night there was a hair in it… I was not pleased, rather disgusted. If I return I will bring up the incident or order a different item. They had my 5 stars…

I recently went through the drive through and ordered a large chipotle sauce. When I went through the bag it was not there. I went back through the drive through and the staff there was very confident that they had indeed given it to me. I was baffled. They relented and gave me the sauce. Yeah it is that good… I would wait for it a third time if I had to.
I get in my car this afternoon and push the seat back. Behold the infamous side of chipotle sauce! It must have fallen out and rolled under the seat.
I will be going back and I will be paying for another side of sauce. Thank you Los Primos for accommodating me even though was absolutely wrong.

Very friendly service, but drive through is pretty slow and food isn’t the greatest. Taco salad didn’t have much lettuce, but lots of meat. Not too much flavor though. Bean and cheese burrito was really bland. Oh well, not going back

The ONLY reason to come here is for their drive-​thru. They are the only one in the immediate area and it’s very convenient.
However, I would not ever come back here. The food is very bleh and much more expensive than other mexican restaurants in the area! A single hard taco is around $ 4! That’s absolutely ridiculous… oh and it doesn’t even taste that great!
There are many much better establishments in Temecula and I would avoid this place if at all possible.
The service isn’t even that great and yes I know I praised them earlier for their drive-​thru but it takes FOREVER. Two cars in front of you is a guaranteed 20 min wait… IN A DRIVE-​THRU! That’s like an hour in normal time! Two stars because of their convenient location.

Found a pube in my food. Yes I said pube. Will never ever go back. Who knows what else they do to the food… My advise, stay away.

I stopped in for gas… say what? Yeah Los Primos is inside a Gas Station well it’s separated but you know what I mean!
Pumping Gas I saw Tacos and had to give them a try, Open 24-​Hours, has a Drive-​Thru for you lazy @#$#% that can’t get out your car! what else can you ask for?
Pretty good variety of menu items though a little pricy, the ONLY street tacos they have is in an order of 4 = $ 5.99 and you can only have two different types of meat, so I went with PORK.

Just totally lacking flavor, Adobada or Al Pastor should be very bold and flavorful, this one NOT. 2-​Stars
Carnitas —
This one was all moist no crunchy, crispy pieces but real good flavor! 3.5-Stars
What else could I ask for? Oh yeah some better food…
