I absolutely love my doula! Gaile was super helpful throughout my pregnancy and made me feel so comfortable. During my labor she came to my house in early labor and kept me company so my husband could catch some sleep. She wasnt able to stay with me for the entire birth but her backup Rachel came to be with me and she was so great! I love her too!
Gaile encapsulated my placenta pretty quickly and brought it to me right away.

Gaile processed my placenta after my last baby was born, and I couldn’t be happier that I chose her to do it. I had my daughter at home and she ended up being transferred and spent 10 days in the NICU, so it wasn’t until my daughter was 3 or so months old that I had her encapsulate my placenta. However, when I made the choice to, Gaile was quick in picking it up from my house, took pictures of it for me and quickly returned the capsules just a few days later. She made sure that I understood how many to take and the possible increase in milk supply that I may have. With the traumatic birth experience I had, I decided to do a rebirthing ceremony that Gaile photographed for me. The images that she was able to capture for me, make me cry every time I look at them. I highly recommend her for ANY service she offers, especially Placenta Encapsulation and photography. I am currently pregnant with baby #4 and plan on having her photograph the birth and encapsulate my placenta in January and can’t wait to see the moments she is able to capture then and the benefits of the placenta pills. Gaile was kind enough to prepare my placenta for encapsulation and the overall experience was wonderful from beginning to end! I was new to the practice of maternal placentophagy, having posted on an online group inquiring about it. Gaile reached out to me quickly and was eager to answer any questions and really help me understand the process and all of the benefits. I could tell through the entire time we communicated that she really just loves what she does and wants mothers to have access to all forms of pre– and post-​partum support. I was afraid that even though she was fairly local to my home, that my place of birth would make it impossible to use her as it was over an hour away. Gaile was more than willing to get me contacts of other PEs by my place of birth if I needed and that’s one of the reasons I knew she is really just in it for the love and giving any kind of support she can. Luckily for me, things worked out for us! Gaile was so accommodating, she drove all the way to my hospital to pick up my placenta and even made me my first smoothie with a raw piece. It was so important to me to have the raw pieces for immediate consumption as well as the encapsulation and she made everything so easy for me. I got my other raw pieces right away as well as another deliciously prepared smoothie when she dropped off my encapsulated pills and a lovely cord keepsake in a heart shape. I was thrilled with the turnaround time! I then received my tincture 6 weeks after and couldn’t be happier with choosing her. She was so friendly, easy to talk to, and I only wish I had known about all the benefits a doula can provide during birth because I would have definitely used her for my attempted and unsuccessful VBAC.

Gaile was an invaluable part of our birth experience. She took the time to meet with us in the months prior to my due date to answer our questions. She was extremely thorough and patient with all of our first time parent questions. We always felt comfortable with Gaile from the start and that was very important to us when looking for a doula. The moment I called to tell her I was being induced, she rearranged her plans and was at the hospital in less than 30 minutes (even before my husband!). She stayed with my husband and I all night even though not much was happening with my labor. Having her at the hospital gave us the peace of mind that we had an advocate who knew the hospital well and could help us make the right decisions for us. During labor, she found her role perfectly. She allowed my husband to be involved as much as he wanted to and she did not interfere at all. I am so happy I was able to have the natural birth I had wanted and I owe that to the support and guidance of Gaile. After the birth, she made time to stop by for a quick check-​in visit and provided us with some great pictures that we will always cherish.
