Spicy + Pickle = Spicy goodness Okay, so I’m not a fan of pickles, but I was definitely not going to give my spicy pickle away. I ordered the Cuban Panini Combo, which was $ 5.95 for a half hot panini with pulled pork and ham, and a bowl of soup(I got the broc cheddar). This was definitely one of the best panini’s I’ve ever tried! The bread was soft and the soup and sandwich were piping. They also give you a small piece of bread to go with your soup and that was nice and soft as well. Make sure to sign up for the Pickle Club, and you will get a free bag of chips!(I chose the Miss. Vickes Jalapeño, of course.) The coupon comes quickly to your e-mail as well so you can even sign up when you’re there, they took my electronic q :) I was pretty stuffed, but I still had one more thing to conquer. Last but not least, I went in for the oh so famous ‘Spicy Pickle,’ which btw, was actually spicy! Surprisingly delightful! I’d definitely want to come back but it’s not too close to me so I’ll have to wait awhile. The prices are good and I’d recommend this place over Panera any day. I love the cute little cartoon pickle, just the name of the place made me want to try it!

Does it get any fresher? So so good. I had the classic romo panini with basil mayo. Once again soooo goood! The greens that came with it were very fresh and drizzled with basalmic dressing, when it got on the panini it made it even better. My kiddo had the classic turkey on wheat hold the sprouts, cukes and tomato, so basically bread, cheese and meat. She had the broccoli cheese soup on the side. Well she loved it so much we ordered another order to take home. The soup was hot and full of flavor, not too thick if you do have a chance to stop by the spicy pickle give yourself a treat and do so. You will love it for sure we will be back

Simply put — I love this place I’ll admit the coupons got me in but the taste gets me back, I tried Cosi it was good but spicy pickle blows them out of the water! And their Cookies! ohhh they’re so yummy, the choclate chip is a bit chocolatey for me but the oatmeal is awesome I love that their fresh everyday I used to wonder what the number on them was then i put two and two together lol it’s the date! I I wish I had the recipe… Anyway everything I’ve tried there has been great tasting, the pizzeti is a bit over priced but still really good. There was the panini around thanksgiving that I wish they had all year it has a great corn bread stuffing and turkey, it was really good but the italian is always a good choice, haven’t tried the sandwhiches yet but I’m sure they’re good, They all seem so gourmet, worth the money especially when they send out their 2 for 1 coupon

Read all the reviews and had to give it a try, so today we headed over for lunch. My hubby had The Bronx and I had the Bastille and both of us had a side of their Greek pasta salad that had lots of feta cheese. My panini was delish but the bread could have been toasted a little longer. My hubby was not overly impressed with his. He said it was dry. Total bill was $ 14.41 as we did not have drinks. It was tasty but we will not be frequent visitors. Give it a try.

Have you ever wanted to assemble your own special blend of sandwich but didn’t feel like going to the store and picking everything out? Enter, Spicy Pickle. Build your own for only $ 6.95! In an Epic battle between chain sandwich places(based on taste) Panera would be Mothra and Spicy Pickle would be Godzilla. For those than don’t know, Godzilla kicks some serious butt. Why do I like this place so much you ask? It might be the sun dried tomato mayo, the fact that I feel like I am getting my moneys worth or that there is a lot of flavor jammed in between that bread. You can select some pre-made combination but I just build my own. My favorite combination you ask? Check below for the special combo that gains you mystical powers. Rosemary focaccia bread with sun dried tomato mayo with: + extra sun dried tomato mayo + cold Italian meat + cheddar cheese + lettuce + sun dried tomatoes + cucumber + fresh apples + alfalfa sprouts + artichoke hearts + spicy pickles + avocado(extra $)

$ 11.00 for a lunch combo? For that price one can go to Fridays, BJs, Yardhouse, or any other place for a nice sit down lunch. If you are looking for a soup and salad style lunch, or soup and sandwich Panera wins hands down. Yes, it is another chain and more commercialized, but the price is a little more inexpensive and the food is better. I ordered the Yardbird Chicken and sat down at my table to see a placard that advertised how there is now more meat on the sandwich? More meat? Where? There was a few slices of chicken– Panera has a lot more meat on their sandwiches. The apples on the sandwich overpowered the chicken and everything else on the sandwich, which should not have been the case. The bread was alright. The macaroni side salad was dry and bland. It could have had a nice vinaigrette or salad dressing, but it did not. I wish I had gone to Panera for a side of soup instead. The menu is a lot smaller than Panera’s. Panera wins on variety. The service was not that great– Panera wins again. It does have table service, but the employees celebrating a coworker’s birthday were more interested in that than the customer.

I had lunch at the Spicy Pickle with my sister. They have a special with a pantini or a sandwich with soup or salad for $ 6.79 plus tax. I had a Italian pantini and the potato soup, both were very good. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. The place had plenty of room. I Loved it!

Solid 3 stars. Does it beat out Cosi or Panera? NOTREALLY. What about the Baked Potato Soup? GETIT.(comes with a side of bread) Favorite sandwich? THEBRONX.(eat it fast or the cole slaw will turn your panini to mush) 1 – 10, how likely are you to recommend? 5 Is it true they close at 8p on week nights? LAMESAUCE. Is it as cheap as people say? $ 10FOR A COMBOMEAL… YOUTELLME. How spicy was their pickle? NOT. THEVERDICT: _____________________________________ Keep at it…

I look forward every time I’m going to Temecula because I know Spicy Pickle is right around the corner! I went there for the first time just because I saw a coupon for them in the paper, and I’ve been going back ever since! Not only is their food EXCELLENT(seriously, the paninis are out of this world) but their prices are quite affordable! It’s my favorite place to go every time I’m in the area. They offer a great selection of FRESH cold sandwiches, hot paninis, pizza, soup, and salads. I definitely prefer it over Panera and Corner Bakery… it’s fresher, tastier, cheaper, and probably better for you! Spicy Pickle is also in a GREAT location. Just right next door is a fantastic frozen yogurt stop, which makes for a great dessert. Right across the little street(in walking distance) is the Temecula Mall, so you’re not only getting great food but you’re getting it in a great, convenient location! The only reason I’m giving them four stars out of five is because a couple times that I’ve gone there… when it wasn’t crowded… the wait was about 20 minutes, and they had my order wrong. My panini was cold, and not how I asked for it. The lady working there seemed really annoyed and cold, like she didn’t want to be there. She didn’t seem concerned that my order was wrong at all. However, I haven’t seen her there again so maybe she was fired! Anyways, most of the time the service is okay, not the greatest, but I can’t complain for the casual restaurant it is! I would definitely recommend this place, the food is great and the workers are typically really friendly!

I had walked past this place many times going to Chipotle. If I had any clue what this was, I would’ve never gone to Panera again. The food was great! The best panini I’ve ever had! I had the Italian. It went well with my Broccoli Cheddar soup, which was also great. The have a completely customizable menu, and awesome sauces that are exclusive to Spicy Pickle. My friend ordered a custom sandwich which was also wonderful. The Service there is outstanding. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly, helpful, and patient(my friend couldn’t make up her mind, lol). The food came up in a timely manner during lunch hour. The price is great too. Cheaper than Cosi or Penera and the quality is just as good, if not better. The only bummer about the place, which I’m not too hung up on is the décor. It’s lacking to put it lightly. But, Im going there to eat, not lounge. If you want the same«loungey sit around a fire and eat soup» kinda feel, you wont get it there. LESSONOFTHEDAY: Skip the trendy, familiar soup-sandwich places and try something new.

4⁄5 Lunch Stop, fresh, high quality and always a tasty lunch. Back one day later, it’s that good! What a great lunch, Temecula was needing something to compete with Cozi… Spinach Salad, half Pannini and a spicy pickle!

I have to say, I’m a Panera Bread lover. I think there is nothing better than a good soup and salad combo. Two days after they opened a Panera in my city, I discovered Spicy Pickle. Panera is officially all but dead to me. Spicy Pickle offers me the exact same soup and salad combo for UPTOTHREEDOLLARSLESS!!! And let me be frank, the food is much better. I love the Garden Veggie soup accompanied by The Forest salad(You had me at Hazelnuts!) and of course, the namesake: the one and only spicy pickle. If you don’t want yours, I assure you I will happily take it off your hands. Bonus points: I really appreciate the wicked, sassy signs on the tip jars. They are pretty darn effective.

The first time I visited Spicy Pickle was in Fort Collins, CO while visiting a friend. I LOVED my food and wept silently into my panini that we didn’t have a Spicy Pickle back home in California. So you can imagine my delight when I was driving down Margarita Road and saw the banner on the side of the building announcing Spicy Pickle’s arrival! I was so excited, I went there that very night for dinner. It was everything I remembered, and more. This is a fine panini establisment – don’t come here expecting Subway prices(or quality, for that matter, which I find satisfactory at best). My favorite Panini is the Gobbler panini. So delicious! My only complaint is that I asked for no cheese on my husband’s panini on a to go order, and I didn’t realize until I got home that there was cheese in it. Otherwise, I love Spicy Pickle and will be coming here regularly!

Delicious!!! This is the best sandwich I have had in a long time! Their menu offers unique sandwich ideas. NOT your typical sub. Love the fresh Ciabatta bread! I had the Englishman;’ roast beef with horseradish. I love the spicy pickles! I went around 1:30 on a Thursday and I had to take my lunch to go because all 30+ seats were taken. Good job guys!

I typed in «cheap eats» when I was in Temecula and this was the first place that popped up. I like a good sandwich, so on our way back home, we tried this place. Very friendly customer service and attractive menu. Between the sandwiches, paninis and pizza, it was hard to choose.(They also had salads, but who orders those for a main dish?!) We wanted to try a couple of things, so we opted to go with the Santa Cruz(turkey sand w/corn salsa & avocado) & Santorini(Greek style pizza). We were impressed with both! The toppings, such as the olives, artichoke and feta cheese were very fresh. The spread and ingredients on the sandwich tasted great together too. I’m glad we didn’t go with the panini, because they were too small. Like I said before, food should not be a beauty contest… the true beauty is how big it is and how it tastes. Can’t give it 5 stars because it wasn’t big enough. Sure, I’d go here again and you should try it if you’re ever in the area!

«Wow, this pickle is spicy! …Oh.» Very good sandwich/salad/panini/pizetta spot for a big lunch in Temecula. $ 6.95 for these sandwiches is actually a great deal because of the quality ingredients and the size of the meal you get. I am not one of those people that can only eat half of something, so I was totally stuffed upon finishing my sausalito bandito panini. Spicy pepperjack, turkey, sweet sun-dried tomaotes and a chipotle mayo pressed and melting between fresh foccacia = NOMMITY. And of course, a spicy pickle wrapped up to go.

When I suggested this new spot to my friend, he grimaced and said, «I am not sure that I want to eat in a place called ‘Spicy Pickle’…it sounds like a strip club.» Valid. Though, I assured him, the name being attached to a shimmy shack would be far worse than a sub shop. In agreement, we decided to give the Spicy Pickle a ride. Upon arrival, insta-points: menu outside with good prices, intriguing options(including a roll-your-own with unlimited veggie toppings!), free samples, and of course, pickles. I built my own sandwich and took embarrassing advantage of the infiniveggies(hey, we vegan-tarians have to take it where we can get it). It ended up being just right: everything was fresh, neat, delicious, and sized to price. And the pickles? Well, my friend, Doubting Thomas, ended up asking for more. Zippy and crisp… they actually made me smile. Do you know how inexcusably hard it is to find a good pickle? Once you have found one, never let it go. Service was refreshingly, genuinely gracious and helpful. My only hope is that this does not change after a few Suburban Saturday onlaughts. As we left, DT and I agreed that the Spicy Pickle works. Name and all. –and no need to load up on singles before you go.

Are you fricken kidding me? Seriously? AREYOUKIDDINGME? Time out. There is something incredibly wrong with this place. This is not your usual sub shop. It redefines what it means to grab a sammich. These guys have the most awesomest menu full of fresh ingredients. Sub, panini, salads, and more. Best part: cheap! My wife and I both took advantage of their 6.95 half sammich+salad combo. I had the Sinker. If you haven’t had a tuna sandwich in a while, do yourself a favor and order this puppy up. Layered on top of a fresh roll, you get tuna with horseradish mayo and a thin slice of peppery jack cheese. Throw some green crunchy stuff in for good measure and this thing will do some serious hunger quashing. The spinach salad was great — fresh green leaves with crumbled bleu cheese, apple slices and walnuts. Topped off with a side of their home brew dressing for good measure(the dressing comes on the side — it’s up to you). Environmentals — The place was clean and ‘fresh’. The staff were all happy to see us, even on Memorial Day. Bathrooms were well taken care of. Music selection was on the mark. Temperature was a bit cool, but refreshing. Price — Did I mention 6.95 for a half sub w/salad? SIXNINETYFIVE. That is cheap. Bottom line — Healthy alternative to the 1500 calorie burrito bomb waiting next door. Kicks other big sub places in the butt in terms of flavor and ingredient freshness. Inexpensive. Try this place out.
