Sheryl was wonderful. I love the quilts on display. It does have more of a traditional feel but there are lots of fabrics to choose from and I found a few that are perfect for my son’s quilt.

Wonderful shop — lots of items that the owner, Sheryl uses and can recommend and tell you about — I had been shopping online from her for years so when we came over from Arizona for the San Diego Quilt show it was a must on our shopping list and we were not disappointed. Great samples and we all came out of there with big bags of treasures. Sheryl even ran over to the restaurant where we were having lunch at Aztek Tacos(wonderful food BTW) to deliver a bag that one of us had left at the store. That might give you an idea how many bags we had . Shop was light and airy — we hit two more shops in the area and at one, it was so hot and crammed with items that we all felt very claustrophobic and had to leave. Hard to even move around to find items. I’m sorry the the customers that had bad service from an employee — Sheryl couldn’t have been more accommodating. It is true that most shops, unless they are HUGE, have a focus and it might be wise to check out a shop’s web site ahead of time and see if they have the types of fabrics you like before making a long trip to check it out. Couldn’t have been more wonderful experience for the 7 of us. TTYL, Mary Lou

If you’re looking for inspiration and reproduction fabrics, this store is a MUST! Sheryl, the owner, makes sure you have a unique experience with her charming little pattern books, assorted signature ruler boxes, hard to find assortment of fat sixteenths fabric lines, and more. The organization of the store is impeccable. After viewing all the quilts on display, you’ll have a hard time deciding which one to make. I know quilters come from far away to visit this charming quilt store. I’m just thankful I live close enough to come here regularly. I can always be assured I’ll leave full of ideas.

I have to agree with Sheila’s review. This shop has beautiful reproduction fabrics and quilts. As another reviewer said, it’s a single focus selection. However, there just isn’t anything that invites me it. When I was there, the clerk was very busy with something at the desk and hardly noticed me. I’m sorry to say that I won’t be returning. I would however HIGHLY recommend Fat Quarters Quilt Shop in Vista. Worth the drive!

Meh… So I traveled 20 miles to see this shop, and no one was in the store. The clerk at the register had her back to me the whole time, I said, «Hello, how are you!» Happy to have found a quilt shop but her reply was flat and still she didn’t turn around. A bad day, I thought?. She was«busy» with more important things than a LIVECUSTOMER! Never asked me if I need assistance or help with a product. The store is neat, tidy… I perused, looked at the products and then 2 more customers came in who she apparently knew and she whipped around and gave them a very warm welcome. WTF!? Then, not one to make assumptions, I asked said clerk about the beautiful quilts and she flatly replied that the owner did them, not even looking at me! What am I? Chopped liver? I wanted to buy a jelly roll, some clips, a new tool but… I walked out and didn’t buy a thing. Poor customer service to a potential NEW customer; I don’t get it. I won’t ever go back. You lost a customer. Plus, like some other review said, the fabric’s are a little old fashion.

Small shop found in a strip mall. The selection is single interest leaning toward reproduction quilts. Very traditional patterns displayed as samples on the walls. The colors are very old fashion dark and small prints. There isn’t a large variety, just enough if you are interested in these types of quilts.

Each time I visit this store, I fall more in love with it. For those of us reproduction quilters, the selection is excellent. They are starting to carry larger amounts of their fabrics as well. The owner is friendly and helpful and they are always coming up with new displays and projects. Pricing is in line with all speciality shops and the quality of their fabric is exceptional. A great vibe the minute you enter the shop. Love it!

I stopped in here once on the way to my in-law’s house. Their fabric selection is SUPER small. It’s also not my style at all, but I can chalk that up to personal preference. All I can guess is that they make most of their money from holding classes, as they do have a larger working section in the back. Probably won’t be back here, there are better fabric stores closer to me.
