Today I had the mild chicken slaw taco, chips and salsa, and a side of tofu lol I like the slaw taco, haven’t tried it with any other meat besides chicken. Just feels like I’m being healthy when I eat it. I never saw the tofu on their menu and I like tofu so I ordered a side of it to try. It’s good! Not sure what they put in the sauce but I taste a hint of teriyaki. Next time I want to try the tofu taco with banzai veggies :)

Food here is okay. Portions are not huge. The best thing on the menu would definitely be the onion rings! They are so good!

Been going to this Wahoo’s for almost 2 years now and have eaten here at least 7 or 8 times. My bad for not reviewing sooner. Been going to this chain for decades. Last night we went after the proverbial question, «Where do you want to eat?» I ran off a handful of ideas including Wahoo’s and thankfully my wife chose fish tacos, the place I was secretly hoping she would pick. She ordered the carne asada burrito, wet, and I tried something new, the«chi» tacos which have a kimchi inspired slaw on top. I have confidence that I would like them but I was really glad how much I liked them. I had one chicken and one beef with white rice and citrus slaw for a combo plate. The kimchi inspired slaw is raw cabbage which still has crunch, a little spicy and not fermented like real kimchi. In other words it’s like a fresh riff on kimchi and I really like it. Very tasty tacos and I’m glad I got one of each, both chicken and beef were different and good! I had a bite of my wife’s carne asada burrito and I wanted to come back again soon and order one for myself. One of the best tasting steak burritos I’ve had in a long time with black beans and rice inside and a wonderful sauce(the wet) on the outside.

I really like this type of food so it was awesome. The staff is friendly. The atmosphere is just like being at the beach but without all the sand. The prices are excellent for the amount of food you get. I will definitely go back.

Wahoos used to be one of my favorite quick places to eat when I happened to be Costa Mesa, long before they brought one to Temecula. Now that they’ve opened this one literally 10 min from me, I’ve only been here a handful of times, but each time the food is delicious and I end up wondering why I don’t frequent it more. Today my girlfriend and I got their Paleo plate and the slim bonsai bowl. The Paleo plate came with 2 proteins(she picked the mild chicken & carne asada), mixed veggies, citrus slaw, and a sliced avocado. The slim bonzai bowl came with your choice of protein(I got the spicy chicken), mixed veggies, and citrus slaw all on brown rice. Normally when you order a «slim» or «light» anything at most places, it means a smaller portion that leaves you still hungry. Both meals were a great size, very tasty, and left us feeling stuffed after. If you’re not in the mood for a lot of veggies, I’d recommend trying one of their burritos. Overall a solid place to eat!

I’ve going to this chain for about 25 years, and always used to get fish tacos with rice and beans, which is really good, fresh taste. The last two times here in Temecula I’ve gottebn their fish sandwich(Torta) and it is spectacular. They know what they’re doing. Great job guys.

Being from the OC I’ve have enjoyed the cuisine at Wahoo’s since the early 90’s… So when I came out here to the Valley I would be remiss if I didn’t mention how bumbed out I was that there was NO Wahoo’s Fish Tacos. Now that there is one, I can now on a regular basis enjoy the healthy grinds at the Temecula location. Plus another benefit is that the menu has grown and can cater to almost anybodies taste buds. More importantly, besides the grinds, are the people, service and congenial atmosphere that is the Wahoo’s signature. Roger, Lily, Martha, Marissa and there trusted staff make Wahoo’s a can’t miss experience. I never have to worry about the food, it’s always savory and a treat to the palate. If you haven’t had the chance, you owe it to yourself to visit Wahoo’s and let Roger and staff work their magic that only Wahoo’s Fish Taco can provide their customers. Gil A.

Please tell me Roger is not the manager here! Every time we have had to interact with him he is rude to us. Time for change Since our bad experience due to a few of the staff members the owner has communicated that further correction and instruction has been done and asked us to come back. We love Wahoo’s and it has a lot to offer. The food is great! We are happy to see that the owner cared about the customers enough to further instruct his employees. We will be back for sure.

This is a great spot for a quick meal! They have a nice selection of food for everyone and the staff is super friendly and helpful. I get the chicken tortilla soup every time and I add the avocado. It’s delicious! My son gets the kids meal with a quesadilla and rice and he always has leftovers to take home for later.

Love wahoos, and the people here are great, very attentive for a restaurant at this price and atmosphere. I would strongly recommend the Kailua pig bowl as a bowl or a burrito.

This place is really good. A friend and I went here on a Saturday night and it wasn’t too busy. The food was really good and we didn’t have to wait too long. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends/family!

I love Wahoos. Cool atmosphere, inexpensive meals, and serves beer. My favorite spot to go when I’m on that side of town. My daughter loves the taquitos too! The staff is friendly and remembers us when we come in… love that.

If you’re in Temecula and looking for a place to eat that is vegan friendly and also has meat for your carnivore friends this is a good option. They can replace the meat with some yummy teriyaki flavored tofu or you can choose from their vegetable based dishes. The fries are pretty good too. I eat mine with a side of guacamole. Both of their bean selections are vegan as well as their rice. My vegetarian husband likes the tofu tacos with cajun beans and white rice with a side of their green sauce. The tofu tacos can be made vegan, just ask for no cheese.

The fish tacos are amazing, as well as pretty much everything on the menu! Only thing I haven’t tried so far is the veggie burrito. The burrito is huge, and much better to me than any competitor. This place is the best.

My first time was a great experience. Got the fish shredder sandwich and it was awesome. Small portion of fries though which was a bit disappointing because they were so good. I took some mr lees sauce and their ketchup and mixed them together and it was great. I lived next to wahoos my whole life back in Torrance(walking distance) and never got the courage to visit and now I have deep regrets! Haha. Anyways would recommend.

This salad was off the hook. It had like 15 shrimp on it. Green pepper dressing was excellent.

We have been here a few times, with mostly good things to say. Last time we were at Wahoos, I asked for some powdered Cajun spice for the white rice. It is very bland without it. I was told they did not have any, even though I was sure I got some the time before. I asked for the Cajun spice again this time, and got a small plastic container of it, along with another spice. The two girls could not have been more helpful. The fish tacos are good, and the rice, as long as I get my Cajun spice, is really good. I have cut out soda, and only drink Iced Tea now. Wahoos has the best Iced Tea in town, along with Islands(Red Robin has horrible Tea), PF Changs, Rubios, Chik Fil A, and Freebirds. We will probably make this a lunch stop, especially on Saturday afternoon, since PF Changs has changed their lunch menu(see my new PF Changs review). After a few more visits, the Fish Tacos are«officially» the best in Temecula. However, the Chips are horrible. Got them once, and they tasted old and stale. Decided to try them one more time, and they were just as bad. Chips should be warm too, cold, stale tasting chips will not make anyone return.

Delicious. Super fresh food ALL the time. Never too crowded. Order takeout or eat in and enjoy the nice, abundant patio seating in the shade. Never have to wait long for food to be ready. Great sized proportions, high grade chow, fast service. It’s a win + win + win ;)

This was my first time here, but I heard it was great. They didn’t lie! The food was delicious and the service wonderful. I had the fish tacos and an order of beer battered onion rings. The slaw they put on the tacos was light and had a great flavor. We will definitely be coming back. If you get there app you can get special offers.

Came back thanks to Jake S. I had the Son of a Classic Burrito with fish… hold the cheese. It was extremely tasty. While I do love the banzai veggies like no other, the slaw in this burrito was excellent as well as the salsa, its spicy but not too hot, just a little kick to play off the citrus in the slaw. As always, the service was wonderful and I love that you can enjoy a much needed cold one with your excellent meal. I still asked for a side of the green sauce(no clue what it is but I do know that angels crafted this stuff so of course its amazing). If you go please do yourself a favor and order a side of this pure amazingness! The atmosphere is really cool and the staff and service is always friendly, helpful and nice which helps you with menu and makes for an excellent experience. I love never getting bored looking around at the stickers inside too. There is a patio outside also so I’m bringing the pooch next time. I had the regular fish but I want to come back for a banzai bowl with salmon since now they have salmon on the menu too! I love this place and I am so bummed I don’t work around the corner anymore because I went here religiously. Thanks again Wahoo’s and Jake for making my tummy and me both super satisfied… see you soon!!!
