I can’t even begin to express how awesome this place is. Dr. Cottam is absolutely amazing. His staff is more than helpful. Booking appointments is a breeze! They have flexible hours. I received a confirmation call before my visit which is great for forgetful ol me! I have had adjustments and massages and both are spectacular. This is the best place to go in my opinion.

I called to schedule a massage appointment and the woman I spoke to was very rude. I decided not to make an appointment just based on the phone conversation. First impressions are everything in a business, and this person’s condescending comments left a bad one.

Having relocated to PHX I left all my good doctors 1,350 miles behind. Not sure if you ever moved, yet finding a good doctor may take years. I’ve been seeing my old chiropractor for over 10 years, yet he could not recommend anyone in the Phoenix area to me. I had to start from scratch: online research, trial and error, groupon deals, coworker recommendations — very frustrating, considering that I had to look for new doctors for several conditions. Relocation stress took its tall on my back. I had to move Chiropractor search up on my list.
Having visited a few Chiropractors, I came to realize that my new health insurance paid close to nothing for Chiropractor services. After a few visits I was looking at a $ 2,400 «proposed treatment» bill just to stay afloat and being able to move around. I needed a miracle, and this miracle happened when I purchased a groupon massage deal for Cottam Health Partners.
So now, close to two years after my first visit, I am still seeing Dr. (Neil) Cottam and his team for my Chiropracting needs.
Obviously you want to hear why, and what’s so special about the group. They have two locations, and can conveniently meet you at either one. Both locations are very private, and patient privacy is a big deal for all of them. It’s nothing like a zoo-​like open floor other practices I had visited. Nothing! The staff is very polite, highly professional, funny, and they teat me not like a money bag: «You can only continue seeing us if you pay this $ 2,400 out-​of-​pocket amount». A couple of time I came on a wrong day/​at a wrong time, and they managed to squeeze me in and work around my schedule. It was like nothing had happened. Top-​notch professional and care.
I always feel special care from everyone in the office: Dr. Cottam, Erica, Adam, Maria. All of them are cool and easy going. I always feel welcomed, and so I keep on coming back. I run into Neil at my gym, at Erika at a local grocery store, and it’s all cool, like a family — the exact experience I always wanted.
I am very picky about places I visit: life is short, and you want to get the best value (including experience) for your money. I highly recommend that you check Cottam Health Partners out by starting with a purchase of a groupon massage — it’s a fantastic deal. And then if you like them (as much as I did), Dr. Cottam addresses all my Chiropractic needs: highly flexible and truly professional.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Cottam Health Partners. Every time I was in i received incredible customer service, and I was in and out in a reasonable amount of time. When I called to schedule, the office manager was polite and made me feel very at ease, even when asking person questions. I received a confirmation call a day prior to my appointment, and was treated like a respected guest as soon as I walked in. The office is very clean and is run well. I really enjoyed my masseuse and would DEFINITELY be back to visit her again.

The Massage is very enjoyable, however, beware when booking and appointment!!! The receptionist, ERICA, is a incompetent, RUDE, has no phone manners whatsoever, and basically sucks at her job. Other then that, the massage was good.

This place has horrible customer service. The «office manager» was so rude to me over the phone I wasn’t even able to book the appointment. She requested all kinds of personal information from me, all over the phone, first 5 seconds of speaking to her then proceeded to scold me because I didn’t want to give it. After I told her she was being rude she hung up on me. Unbelievable. It’s too bad this woman is the first thing clients interact with when contacting this business. STAY AWAY!

The people are super nice and friendly but I think I just got the wrong masseuse for me. Her hands felt like metal rods were jamming into my back. It hurt. I told her it hurt and she told me that my back was too sensitive. She also said that she has plenty of repeat customers implying that the problem really lies with me.
When I got home, my back was in so much pain and I was upset because I literally had no pain when I got there. This was supposed to be a relaxing time with a girlfriend that ended in torture. I had to go to my gym to just sit in the jacuzzi to try and alleviate the pain she had caused. The next morning, the pain was worse and I can feel exactly the places I told her to stop but that she kept going. She told me: just let me know if it’s too much and I’ll let up. That never happened. I’m extremely irritated right now.
My friend told me that she had a nice relaxing massage so I guess it’s a crap shoot with what you get there. Excuse me while I go lay on a heating pad and die a little.

I can’t give them a true rating based their work or technique. I made an appointment a few days in advance for the Ahwatukee office. There was a Groupon for $ 39 for a 90 minute massage that I wanted to take advantage of. I drove 25 minutes to the appointment, show up, and find out they never actually booked my appointment. Thanks for wasting my morning! PS Doc, lose the bluetooth when you are inside your office. It’s a lame look!

This review is for the Tempe office. They also have offices in Chandler and Ahwatukee offering chiropractic and massage therapy services. All offices use the same phone number to schedule appointments. They do not have posted office hours and there is a note on the door stating they lock the door when the therapist is providing services.
I used a coupon for a $ 35 massage (I am told the regular price is $ 53 for a one hour massage). My therapist, Athena, was excellent. This was one of the best massages I have had in a long time. The waiting area and massage room were clean, roomy, and the music was appropriate. Ample parking in the rear of the building (the office faces Rural Rd). I would recommend this office.
