I booked an appointment after reading reviews here on Unilocal,and what an experience i Had!
for years i have been looking for my «go to» Aveda Salon, but i kept hopping from one salon to another not really satisfied with the service. I am so so glad i found them!
First the salon itself, is very cosy and boutique like, i loved the atmosphere.
When i arrived, Gretchen was so nice, lively and energetic, you could tell she has passion for what she does. She offered me something to drink, took my information and introduced me to my Hair Stylist Lena! Lena was simply amazing. I needed a maintenance cut and a hair treatment. she understood my concerns, and delivered! everything there exceeded my expectations from the scalp massage to the hair treatment to styling my hair.
Simply put, This place is a little gem! Highly recommend it.

Gabi has been my hair goddess for almost a year now. I love going into Eye Candy. I first came in about a year ago wanting a new look and I am so glad that I did. Eye Candy is an Aveda salon which specializes in great cuts and amazing color. I’ve been so happy every time I go to see Gabi and the rest of the staff from the owner, Gretchen, to other staff members, like Lena, are always so excited to see their clients come in. You always know that you are going to be greeted with «Hello Gorgeous» and they make you feel gorgeous before you leave.
Gabi has been wonderful in helping me transition to a shorter cut, more creative color options, and even great styling advice. I love the fact that she always asks me what I love about my hair and what I would like to change before doing anything. The staff is great at pampering you along the way, whether it’s a sensory journey and scalp massage, a hand massage, or even engaging you in great conversation. I can highly recommend the staff of Eye Candy to anyone looking for their home salon.

Gretchen has been doing my hair for 13 years! I have sent lots of people to this salon. She has also done amazing photography for me. Make an appointment, it will be an experience like no other!

Went to Eye Candy for the first time and I will definitely be back. I’m so glad I found this salon. Lena did my hair and it was like she read my mind. I didn’t even hardly have to explain what I wanted, she just did it perfectly. The shampoo experience is really an *experience* i.e. a nice long scalp massage, plus essential oils, all Very nice. The whole time I was thinking that this being such a nice and professional salon, I prepared myself to pay like $ 50-​$ 60, so when she told me it was $ 39, I was amazed! Also, she told me about and recommended products but I wasn’t pressured at all to buy anything which was very much appreciated. I can’t wait for my next appointment.

I don’t know how to convey the level of happiness I experienced here! First, let me say I have paid LOTS of money for styles I was unhappy with. I found eye candy on Unilocal and I’m so glad I did. I saw Lena and from now on, she’s the only one who’s allowed to touch my hair. I can’t stop looking at how beautiful my hair is in the mirror. People even tell me this is the best hair has ever looked! I strongly suggest anyone to come here. You won’t be sorry if you do.

I love this salon. I am pretty much a no frills lady… but got accustomed to the quality treatment they provide clients here. I get my hair done by Gabi. She knows how to do a great edgy cut, and has a great personality too! Love this place. Found it on Unilocal,and haven’t needed to find another salon since.

Called and made an appointment after reading reviews on Unilocal.
First, whoever answered the phone was very friendly and helpful. I was scheduled for the next day to see Gretchen. I might add that we just moved to the area from the Midwest, so I was nervous about seeing a new stylist after having the same one for 30 years.
When I arrived, the salon was clean and very open and still felt comfortable. I felt immediately at ease.
Gretchen sat with me before we started doing anything with my hair and discussed what I’d like and a plan for future styles (I am growing out a pixie cut). We probably sat and discussed everything for at least 20 minutes.
Gretchen was WONDERFUL! She knows what she’s doing, and she was as sweet as could be. I was offered a glass of wine (yay!), and after we finished the color we decided on, I was given a scalp/​head massage while being rinsed. HEAVENLY!
She styled and cut my hair, and I felt so lovely after she was done. I would recommend this salon to everyone!

I just had the best salon experience I’ve ever had… they actually CARE about you and your level of happiness. I had a cut from Gaby and she is SO nice, very knowledgeable, she did a great job. They give you a scalp massage, a hand massage while you’re under the dryer, and touch up your makeup when you’re done. I highly recommend Eye Candy Hair Studios if you want a TRUE salon experience.

I had my hair cut here yesterday and not only was my hair done perfectly, but the service was outstanding– I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Gabi gave a beautiful hair cut and it was nice to see that everyone working there seemed to be friends that were willing to help each other out and were all genuinely sweet people. The price was also great for what I received because I am accustomed to paying more than $ 39 for a great hair cut and style. I have very thick hair and Gabi took the time to thin it, plus I left with encredibly soft and healthy hair even after they had applied some heat with a blow drier and straightener.
I was referred to eye candy by multiple friends and am usually pretty hesitant about going to a new place because my hair is difficult to manage and to be honest, getting it cut is often inconvenient because it takes 2 hours or so. I was given a great conditioning treatment and received a hand masage at the same time which was amazing! I later found out that while they are doing your hair you can also get a quick mani/​pedi for a very reasonable price. They also offer shellac, make up, waxing, and seemed to have a pretty busy photo studio as well. Overall, this place deserves 5 stars for a great experience!

LOVE this place! Moved to Florida a couple years ago and didn’t trust anyone to my hair. After waiting as long as I could I was referred here by one of my friends. Jesica is AMAZING! She’s trained by Paul Mitchell and does a fabulous job! She’s also super personable and remembers what you talk about with her every time you go in! Just can’t rave about this lady enough!
