Gulf Coast Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

Had a very pleasant experience here getting my wisdom teeth removed. They were able to evaluate and operate the same day, and fit me in their schedule on a very short notice. I was charged what I considered a very reasonable price, but I understand everyone’s insurance and financial situation is different. Dr. Scruggs was very nice and his staff provided a peaceful and comfortable environment for what I consider a not so comfortable procedure. I went the anesthesia route and never saw a scalpel or dental instrument. The hand I.V. didn’t hurt thanks to a numbing spray, and before I knew it an hour had passed and I was behind woken up and helped into my mom’s car (you’ll need a designated driver for this) and was on my way home, feeling no pain, and taking a post-​dentist selfie video. (It’s 2014, what do you expect?!) The doctor personally called me that night to check how I was doing, and his staff followed up as well over the next few days. Like I said, great service and great experience. Would definitely see them first if any other oral surgery is required in my future.
