Best tacos lengua I’ve ever had, and I’ve had plenty. Super fresh ingredients and everything I’ve had here has been great. Nice people too.

So happy to have found this place. Truly great authentic Mexican food. We hunt for little Mexican restaurants like this when we travel. Always better food and service than the bigger fancier places. Friendly service, tasty fresh tortillas and great meat and veggies. We had a steak and a veggie burrito. Good assortment of hot sauces. Still talking about it days later.

This place was a great surprise. We were driving back to Portland, starting to get really, really hungry. There were a few reviews for this place, so we stopped. I’m so glad we did. Great barbacoa, lengua, and pastor.

Best tortas in town!

My in-​laws family is hispanic and are the best cooks I’ve ever met. Their family in Mexico even own a restaurant and know good Mexican food. However, this is the BEST Mexican food I have ever had. From tacos to burritos to tamales, everything is delicious. I go here at least a couple times a week and love how Monica makes everything fresh.
You haven’t had the best if you haven’t been here. I must try when coming to the Gorge!

This cart nestled across from the west entrance to Home Depot fills the bill for great fresh Mexican food. I have eaten here three times in the last week and have found no flaws. The burritos supreme are very tasty and filling enough to share between two. Tortas are the same. Very good green and red salsas to splash on the offerings. I am going to try their tacos next and I don’t expect to be disappointed. My new favorite lunch spot in The Dalles.

This place is sooooo wonderful, I cannot believe I had to add it! My husband is a taco truck enthusiast and so he really did the groundwork to find the best taco truck around and I am reaping the benefits! When first moving to The Dalles he was in search of a good taco truck to replace his old favorite back home. He finally ate here, and has been going back regularly ever since. They have a good number of filling choices [barbacoa, carne asada, al pastor, adovada, carnitas, pollo, veggie, cabeza (beef cheek), lengua (tongue), and tripa (tripe) — I think that is all…] and they make most of the typical taco truck options with a few extras: Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas, Tostadas, Flautas (chicken with potato only), Tortas, Sopes, and Tamales (chicken or pork and they even have some sweet tamales now). You can even get the tamales cold to take home for that evening’s dinner… if that’s your kind of thing :)
We’ve tried pretty much everything except some meat selections, since you kind of begin to crave your favorite, and the quesadillas. There is a covered area with tables that could accommodate four-​six probably (depending on your requirement for comfort) The salsas are really delicious and have a good level of heat.
