I was referred to Jacob by a former client. I was impressed by his studio. It was updated in a old boarding house with class. The studio was clean, ambience was calming and I instantly liked Jacob. My tattoo wasn’t by no means big, but it meant something to me. I had sent pics, of what I was looking to have done, prior to my appt. Jacob never made me feel that it wasn’t important or significant. Jacob is professional and a true artist. You will be impressed, as I was. Thanks, Jacob for a good experience and a beautiful piece of art on my foot. I love it! I never had any problem with the healing process, I followed your instructions. Jacob was recommended by another tattoo artist, Lindsay Whitney. She knew I wanted a Polynesian tattoo and said he was the best! I was not disappointed. He even did a coverup on my first tattoo from 1983, i told Jacob what symbolism i was looking for and he free handed the outline on my foot/​ankle. When it was finished, I could not have been more pleased. It was exactly what I wanted without not really knowing what I wanted until Jacob. He is a kind, caring, and i think an old soul inside. My last tattoo, before Jacob was from an old time tattoo artist and every other word out of his mouth was the F bomb so Jacob was the calm during the tattoo process… yes, it hurts but it was so worth it. I love my piece of Jacob Hanks art that I will forever carry with me. If you want a Poly tattoo, call Jacob!!!

Jacob did my tattoo back in November of 2011. I was only in town for a few days and he was able to accomodate myself and my brother with about 6 hours of work. I was in search of something that would cover up some crappy work I had done a long time ago. This guy is an award winning artist for a reason! I got a poly half sleeve and I am stoked with the result. I look forward to completing my piece when I’m back in his neck of the woods. Jacob is the best of what he does. Nice, clean, friendly shop and hes a cool dude to just chill with when your getting tattoed. Ive gotten 3 tattoos from him now and he even fixed two of my others that weren’t done by a artist as talented as jacob but now they look amazing. I recommend this shop to anyone has wants a quality tattoo.
