This is for the Justice store in the Simi Valley Town Center Mall although this also pertains to the Justice at The Oaks Mall in Thousand Oaks as well. I am extremely shocked that such a fine children’s clothing store can rip off their customers! I shopped at the store in The Oaks a couple months ago and I was given 2 cards worth 25 dollars each. I was Told by the associate that I can come back within the dates written on those cards and purchase 25 dollars worth of clothing and i would get 25 dollars free. So basically i was being told that these cards are 50% off of what i would purchase. So, today i went to use them at the Simi Mall store. The store was having a 50% off sale. So i thought… yayyy i will get great deals on clothes for my 8 year old daughter! I shopped for an HOUR to find the best prices and the most i could get for her. She has never had any clothes besidesTarget clothes and garage sales. I am not wealthy!!! She asked for«Justice» clothes because her friends at school have them and she loves the look! So i bought her her first«Justice clothing» in september. It wasn’t much and it was a 50% off sale that day. So today i picked out her clothes, i was so excited because i could finally afford a good warm coat for her! I gave the associate the 25 dollar cards and she said, Oh I’m sorry you cant use these today because we are already having a 50% off sale so they aren’t valid! I was so upset! I said to her WHAT? she explained to me that«they» randomly have 50% off sales and when they do, those cards don’t matter! So why wasn’t i told that this might happen at the time i was given those cards? I am furious! She said, that in the small print on the back of the cards it says that you can’t use them on 50% off days… I should of been verbally told this at the time i got them!!! So next to me, a woman was purchasing clothing, and her associate told her«here are 25 dollar off cards that you can use on the dates provided on them». I listened, i waited for her to finish her«speech» and i noticed that this lady was not told either about the 50% off sale thing where you can’t use them!!! So i looked at her and said… just make sure you don’t come here when they are having another 50% off sale because those cards wont matter!!! Its a total scam to get you into their store! So i had to tell my 8 year old IMSOSORRYWEHAVETOPUTHALFOFEVERYTHINGBACK!!! I will not shop Justice again!!!

Catering to girly tweens, Justice(the former Limited Too), carries overpriced poorly made casual clothing(it’s not attractive either — GapKids, Crazy 8 and others have better looking clothing, Justice’s clothing looks trashy and cheap) and tons of lifestyle items: toys, books, candy, body lotions, perfume, nail polish, suitcases, purses, journals, plush toys, etc. Look no further for faux fur and glitter. Some of the plaid skirts and plaid purses are decent looking. Definitely wait for a sale(they have plenty of them). They might be the only store to carry Monster High clothing but there isn’t much of it and it isn’t cute. They seem to have more Monster High items than Target.

Terrible customer service. I’ve been getting their coupons since I’m on their mailing list. But they don’t value their customers. Manager needs customer service training. Very rude and condescending, even other customers around agreed. Will not shop here again.
