I was treated as though I was a low life and left to wait while the sales woman went in the back to finish someone’s facial and then the woman wouldnt allow me to exchange a product because I didn’t have the receipt although my name was found in their log along with the item i purchased.
She could have printed it out but choose not to.
Very snotty.
Don’t go to the thousand oaks location.

Do not spend on money this shop. I am telling you people who reading this one right now definitely waste of your money. Just ask somebody who doesn’t know anything about facial. They’ll do better. :)

I am never going back to this place. I had microdermabrasion at this place. There’s only curtains, the music was playing too loud, ambiance was not good. Customers would get in and buy stuff and Marci would stop what she’s doing to my face to attend to the people in the front consistently. This is what she did to my face. 3 mins with the microdermabrasion machine, toner for a few second, and clay. She let the clay sit on my face for 25mins with the light and went out, 30 mins later got some towel and wipe the clay off my face using just 1 towel and no rinsing. I came out with clay on my lashes and nose. It was awful. Lesson learned, go to a real spa and spend extra money were you will feel relaxed not regretful of even coming there.

Marci did a great job shaping my eyebrows. I’m so tired of going to cheap waxing places where you get burned, or unevenly shaped brows. I definitely recommend her.

I bought a groupon for a 60 min facial, I was very underwhelmed with the whole experience. There is no quiet or privacy because they only have a curtain keeping you from all the chatting and Many clanking shoes on the wood floors. The facial was below average, I don’t feel like she did anything, as another helper commented, the facial was 45 min, not 60 as described. My esthetician didn’t give me her name when I introduced myself. It’s like she heard «groupon» and had clearly in her mind the service I was going to receive. I have found wonderful services through Groupon/Conejo deal and I have continued to go to them and pay full price. Will never return here, it’s not even worth the $ 29 groupon price.

Wasn’t happy with my experience here. They had a Groupon out for the infrared body wrap, gave it a try. I had the exact same experience as Kristine P. who wrote a review in February! Wraps were way too hot, had to call them back in to take me out early. Went home and had red lines (burns) all over my thighs, butt, and back of my arms that lasted two days. It was a pretty uncomfortable experience as well, and didn’t see any results that were worth another round.

I went in to Merle Norman with a groupon for a body wrap — my first time trying it ever. She wrapped my thighs, hips, and stomach in the heated wrap, put a blanket over me, and left. The wraps were WAY too hot, and halfway thru I asked for them to be removed from my legs because it felt like the skin was burning. She did, and also commented that I still had another 30 minutes to go. The wraps left burn marks on my thighs, stomach, and back! They were way too hot in the beginning and kept getting hotter and I, a novice, didn’t know if it was supposed to be this way. Never again!

Meryl Norman is a great place for everything! Marcy is great at eyebrows and threading, she shapes my eyebrows wonderfully. Meryl Norman is definitely recommended to all ages.

marcy is a great aesthetician! i made an appointment for microderm abrasion to try to even out my skin tone and i can’t be happier after my first two treatments! marcy has high tech equipment and a relaxing space to give facials. she took the time to educate me about the products she was using and what i can be doing to help my skin in between treatments. she offered a great deal for a package of treatments and i’m really looking forward to continuing to improve my skin with her help. i’m also looking forward to her expertise in make-up styling for some upcoming events. thank you, marcy!

I went into Merle Norman over a month ago and had Marcy shape my eyebrows. She did an excellent job, while also being really friendly and welcoming. Before I had always gotten my eyebrows waxed, but I love how Marcy does then so much better! Also, the esthetician was very helpful and led me to the anti-redness cream. I have been using it every night on my extremely sensitive skin and love the improvement!!! Overall, amazing experience and will continue to come here!

I went in to have my eyebrows shaped and the store was impeccably clean and organized. Marcy shaped my eyebrows and was so warm and friendly and she did such a beautiful job that I scheduled a microdermabrasion for the following week. I saw an immediate improvement in my skin and was able to return to work with no make-up and no redness! I will be back every month for maintenance, very excited I found this place!
