Kinetic Waves

I was introduced to Caroline at Kinetic Waves when I purchased a Groupon for a massage and facial. I am thrilled that I met her because she ended up healing an injured shoulder that I had given up on. About 15 years ago I dislocated my right shoulder and it has continued to dislocate periodically. As a result, I guarded the shoulder and it became stiff and partially immobile. The reduced mobility led to tight muscles in my chest and back which caused painful back spasms. An orthopedist recommended surgery but I didn’t want to go through it.
I’ve had many other massages but most massage therapists avoided my shoulder when I described the injury. Not Caroline. At my first appointment, I described the injury and instead of avoiding my shoulder, she immediately started working on it and its connecting muscles. After that first appointment, I had increased range of motion in my shoulder. A true healer, Caroline is able to pinpoint sources pain and eliminate them. Coupled with strengthening exercises at the gym and several more appointments, my shoulder now has full range of motion and no stiffness. I can’t thank Caroline enough for healing my shoulder.

She might give the best facial ever; however, I was never given the chance to get one. After I bought a Groupon, I called to schedule an appointment. I told her I needed a Saturday appointment as I worked during the week. She told me that not only was she completely booked for the next couple months on Saturdays, but that she doesn’t accept new clients on Saturdays. That pretty much renders my Groupon useless. It would have been nice if that could have been made clear BEFORE I bought it! Complete waste of money.

Healing facial – best ever!
Caroline is excellent – her facial (plus foot/​hand scrub & massage) were very healing. A bit gentler than some so it felt calming to your skin (not «angry rosacea» as I call it.) Her products smelled & felt great – the atmosphere and Caroline’s gentle, joyful nature made for one of the best afternoons ever. Thank you Caroline!

Amazed by caroline! She is very professional and intuitive, but mostly her bodywork is the most EFFECTIVE! After a serious injury, I had gone to many specialists at Ucsf, who all Recommended some Muscle relaxants, PT, and massage therapy. I had tried several massage therapists over the past few years, but none left me with the sense of improvement for very long after the massage was over, so it didn’t seem worthwhile. Then I tried caroline. What a difference! I feel so much better after a brief time with her. Not only do I feel much less pain and tension, I have been able to greatly reduce the muscle relaxants, which were making me tired and less productive. The pain used to be unbearable. she can really help retrain your reflexes and muscles. Truly, I am so impressed and cannot believe what a difference caroline has made.

I have been going to massage therapists for 40 years, and Caroline is the best. She is able to get muscles to relax – and they stay relaxed. And even if you have a complaint in just one area (for me the shoulders), she wisely checks your whole body to see if any unfelt tension in other areas is contributing to the tension you are aware of (it was).
She also has a very pleasant and professional manner which is, unfortunately, lacking in many medical and health practitioners. Highly recommended.

Caroline has truly amazed me. I have never written a Unilocal recommendation, but I am compelled to do so for her. I have been getting the Belavi face-​lift regularly for over a year. I also use all of her products. I am continually asked if I use Botox or what my secret is. I have been told that I look years younger, that my skin glows and that my skin looks great. Her facial is a non-​invasive method of lifting the skin and reducing wrinkles. In addition, because her products are all natural, it has completely eliminated hormonal skin irritations that I have suffered from for over 20 years. I’m hooked!

Caroline is a miracle worker. She has a beautiful presence and a feel good holistic practice. Using her very own, all natural products… my skin was renewed after a relaxing massage and facial. With soft music playing in the background, a warm massage table to rest on and her brilliant hands detoxing my body of any tension, I was extremely impressed and completely blissed out from this service.
With a complementary herbal tea to sip on at then end of this 90minute face and body indulgence, I will definitely be scheduling Caroline in every month for a much needed relaxation session!

Due to post-​surgery complications I’ve developed extreme leg cramping. Although this may not be the specific intention of this product (the Active Body Spray) I’ve found it to be therapeutic and bring my pain level down from an «8» to a «2» immediately. I’ve never written a product review before but this is so helpful I needed to recommend it to others.

fabulous belavi face lift facial, my skin looked amazing afterward! i have never had a facial that i thought was worth much until this. of course i had to purchase her skin care line, and it’s only been 5 days, but i’m loving it. also had a massage, with essential oils sprinkled on my back. that was ok, but would not go again. but the facial is a winner!

Oh my. Oh my. I had the Belavi Face-​Lift and now I think I am hooked. I am a huge believer that you have to get the blood pumping and your muscles moving. so, the technique to this face-​lift is just that. I can’t tell you how big a believer I am in this and so I was over the moon with this service. It is totally cool. To top it off, Caroline is cool. She is an experienced business woman, easy to deal with and I like that. I also had this hand enzyme treatment and didn’t think much of it… but I noticed a huge difference in my hands! So I am hooked on that too now I guess. I also believe in her all natural products and bought a few as well. She gained a client for sure. Great experience.

A wonderful facial. I usually break out from most products but, Carolines skin care products are great. No breakouts and my skin has never felt so moisturized. I bought her vitamin c serum and her moisturizer and alternate daily. My skin looks and feels great. I highly recommend her facials AND her products.

I’ve gone to Kinetic Waves for Reki sessions for many years. I’ve referred a lot of people there, and gotten nothing but positive feedback about Carolines services. My own experience has been phenomenal. I go to see her with all kinds of mental grease and grime and walk out a new man. She’s the Mrs. Clean of emotional baggage. Caroline provides one of the best massages available. I’m used to deep tissue work and having that being the only thing to relieve and release the tension in my back and shoulders. I was utterly amazed at her ability to release my tense musles without hurting me! I left feeling like a new woman. She has a very intuituve touch and is an amazing massage therapist. I highly recommend her.

Vibrational Healing, Hot Stone Massage, Cranial Sacral, Body Coaxing ~ No, this is not a review for Good Vibrations. These are different massages offered at Kinetic Waves. Caroline is gifted in healing and non-​invasive methods of massage therapy. I left my sessions feeling deeply relaxed and re-​charged. The ferry ride over to Tiburon was a bonus.
