I’m giving out my first review on Unilocal coz it was just perfect for any single bite. Never had a pork chop tastes so tender like a steak, and crab bisque w/fresh bread match so well. Not to mention the fantastic view, especially during autumn foliage. Don’t miss this god damn perfect restaurant!

Went here for lunch on a Saturday. Ordered a Ruben with turkey instead of corned beef. It was really good, a little lacking in flavor but the turkey was good quality. My mom got the house salad and it was huge with delicious grilled chicken. My only gripe was that the bar was packed with middle aged men at 2 pm and they were SO loud. I guess just be prepared for that.

This place has beautiful décor and a really nice view of the golf course it overlooks. Thought it would be pricey because they don’t post the prices on their menu online(why don’t places do that?). It would have been discouraging enough had alternative options not been so few and bar between, so we checked it out. I got a bacon burger and fries for $ 10 — it’s about the same as any diner, really. Cream of Mushroom soup($ 2.99) was so/so and needed some seasoning. Good but not special. Atmosphere is great though. Wish they had a beer menu, it seemed like they had some decent local brews though. Waitress was kind, but not very helpful when it came to what was on tap/prices etc. (I got the ‘Switchback’ which she said was an amber ale — really IPA. not bad though, and I hate IPAs) Here’s something pretty nice though — as my friends and I were leaving, almost everyone seated at the bar said goodbye to us in a kind, familiar way. Last of whom to say bye was a little old lady with curled up dyed red hair, and wearing the most reflective gold blouse(like MC Hammer’s pants in blouse form) lifted her head from her third glass of whiskey and said, «Enjoy life while you can!» Interesting, kinda weird. Would come back again if I was stuck in the area and lost 4G again [AT&T sucks everywhere, amIright??]

We sat in the porch area and the view was incredible! That was a selling point on its own. We were interested in having a beer and an app. We asked what beers were on tap and the young waitress had no idea and was not keen on finding out… once we did find out we were happy there were some local brews on tap. For the app, we tried the Flat Bread Pizza and were pleased with the fare — tasty and a good amount for two people. If we are in the area again, we will go back.

Fun restaurant with a great view, neat building, and incredible service. We were looking for a place to eat on a late night drive, and the good people at Emeralds fired up the kitchen to make our entire family dinner. Our server was more than accommodating! The food was classic American coastal food including burgers, chicken, fish, etc.

Fabulous food and wonderful service. The atmosphere leaves a bit to be desired, but its really a wonderful place. We have been dining here every summer for years and I am never disappointed. This past summer we were hit with an awful storm towards the end of our dinner forcing us to hang out a bit longer with three young children. No one batted an eye at our kids crawling around the dining room, and in fact offered us crayons and laughingly stepped over them as they walked by.

What a wonderful place if not for one thing. Erin is an all time sweetheart(tip that wrist a little more next time tho) the food ranges from at worst very good to excellent, depending on what you get. Sports is always on. It’s a really fine establishment I wouldnt think twice about ever going there if not for the fat obnoxious troglodyte Tom Havas that is often frequenting the bar. There is no more disconcerting sight than to see his hanging jib vibrating from whatever preposterous nonsense that is coming out of his disgusting mouth. If you walk in and see this going on turn around and immediately leave. If you are lucky enough to miss this debacle then sit down and enjoy arguably the best establishment in the North Country.

You can not visit the area without making a stop here! They have the best bartender in town and the food is equally as good. The Chef’s nightly specials are some of my favorite dishes… Enjoy a nice dinner with a great view of the golf course and amazing sunset. Tell Erin(the bartender) I sent you!
