Dangerous parking lot on high volumn days. Not well lite at night, so you may want to make your visit during day light hours. Don’t shop this mall on Saturdays, there are no parking spots to be had. It’s parking lot is a crazy, poorly marked configuration.

It’s gritty and janky and old and weird, but Tigard Plaza is also one of the most kickass shopping centers you’ll find. Regulars to the strip mall roll call: Dollar Tree? Present. A donut and bagel shop? Here. A coffee kiosk? But of course. Jo-Ann’s Crafts? You betcha. But you know what else they have? EVERYTHING! A pizza-slash-falafel shop. Cause sometimes you want hummus with your pepperoni. Two bars — one with a sorta maybe British(?) theme(??) and another for your more video poker types. Some kind of fresh fish supply. An Indian sari shop. I think also a Quinceañera shop. An old-timey one-screen movie theater. A homebrewing supply store. A cake-decorating store. And WIGS! I can’t even remember what all lives there, but I do know that this place is a densely-packed wallop of random and quirky and awesome. You know when you’re hatching a great scheme, but stop and go: but where am I gonna get a??? Tigard Plaza is probably that place.
