I have a honda civic with 245,000 miles on it and Wayne is my go to guy for auto repairs. He just completed a big job on my car and of course went the extra mile! He found some additional issues and corrected the problem. Now my car runs better than ever. It would have cost me a fortune to have all the things done that he fixed and it was very reasonable. I love that I know I can trust taking my cars to him and he does what he says he is going to do. Excellent mechanic. Really knows his stuff!

This is my reply to the now deleted response from Wayne on my initial review claiming I didn’t pay him in full, he offered me a refund, I could take my business else where, Les Schwab didn’t do the work for the price I stated, the axle he installed was defective and his claim I made a scene at somebody’s residence. Wayne’s another lying business man. I didn’t refuse any offer for a refund or was told he’d put things back together so I could take my business elsewhere. He had begun the work and told me the sub-frame had to be cut to remove the control arm. What do I know I’m not a mechanic so I said continue. Like I said in my original review Les Schwab encountered the same extensively rusted bolts on the right side while removing that control arm to replace the sub-frame Wayne cut and they didn’t have to cut anything. About the axle, Wayne told me the first axle he installed was to short and that’s why it broke. You have a shifting control arm due to cuts in the sub-frame and any axle will break. Don’t believe him about this being a defective axle. He’s also lying about my refusal to pay. We agreed on a $ 400.00 initial cost estimate and because it took him longer he charged me another $ 150.00 totaling $ 550.00. I have the receipts for proof. He’s also lying about me being angry at a customers residence. The only residence I was at was mine. I treated Wayne with patience and respect. One more thing here, Les Schwab certainly did replace that sub-frame for $ 400.00. $ 200.00 plus for a used sub-frame and the rest was labor. Again I have the receipts for proof that can be delivered upon request. I think this is standard business practice when given poor reviews. Attack the customer and say how you bent over backwards to help. Not many people respond to these business men’s responses to customers given reviews. I did. I wasn’t trying to mar Wayne’s business and I stated that I thought he was fully competent and capable to do the majority of car repairs and maintenance but I had every right to respond the way I did to Wayne’s now deleted response to my review.

I have Wayne work on both my corvette and my pickup. He has made numerous repairs to both. I like that i can call and talk to him about possible fixes. I like that fact that he checks other little things that might need repair and tells me about them so I can make a decision to get them fixed or not. He charges a lot less than taking it to the shop and also explains what he did to make the repair. I have recommended him to many of my friends.

I’m so glad that I found Wayne! I enjoy doing some basic car maintenance but when an issue came up that was a little over my head he was willing to help me out and even put up with me looking over his shoulder and asking a few questions. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I’ll be calling him back for future projects.

Sent Wayne a text in the late morning saying I needed starter replaced same day. Wayne came that same afternoon, prepared, equipped and replaced the starter in time for me to get the grocery shopping done and back in time for dinner! Very happy with the quick response, thoroughness and of course the price! Should we ever need repair again, we know who to call first! I would certainly recommend him to friends :)
