Able Stove Shoppe

We bought a stove from this shop on Labor Day weekend. Although it was much smaller than the other stove shops we had visited in the weeks before, we were impressed with their prices and with the warmth of the owner, Mark. After asking (and seeming to listen) about what we were looking for and how much we could afford, he showed us a stove that we liked very much. We told him we would think about it and went off to see if we could find a better deal. We couldn’t. When we got back to his store, he was very helpful and very professional as we completed the sale, paid in full. We left feeling very good about buying from a «little guy» and looked forward to a call to set up delivery and installation. Three+ weeks later and we have not received that call, nor has he returned any of our several calls (though he promised to call us back last week).
If we get our stove delivered and installed sometime in the next three weeks, I’ll actually revise this review. In the meantime, it’s a shame that Unilocal buried a similar review as «not recommended.» Think twice about buying from this shop.
Update: two more weeks have gone by and they refuse to return phone calls.

When you enter the shoppe you will be greeted by Gary. Both Mark (the owner) and Gary are very knowledgeable. They seem to genuinely want to take care of you. Which seems to be harder and harder to find these days.
