Terrific shrimp! Small place — it might be difficult to find a seat on a busy evening. But it’ll still be worth it even if you have to eat in the car. The shrimp are large, meaty and breaded perfectly — so that you taste the shrimp and not just the breading.

I’ve been here three times and the shrimp has been consistently delicious. The breading is perfectly crispy and is without that«fishy» smell/taste that you find at other fried seafood joints. They’re special creamy sauce pairs perfectly with the shrimp as well. The service is also very quick and welcoming. The prices are also fair. I’d highly recommend stopping by.

Unlike the name implies there’s more on the menu than ‘just’ shrimp. Skip the lobster bisque, you’d probably make a better tasting one in your kitchen. While not as tasty as Lawrence’s in Chicago, the fried shrimp satisfied my craving. The shrimp poor boy wasn’t spectacular and prompted my husband to try the bag of heaven. We dined in so it was served in a dish not a bag; diced potatoes, carrots, onions, and corn in a broth with 8 jumbo shrimp. Very flavorful and redeemed the visit from being a bust. We will return to try other menu options before completely ruling this place out.

First of all let me start by saying the young girl that works there, I believe is the owners daughter has a stank attitude. She is neither friendly nor a people person. I don’t know why they put her in the front, she should be in the back breading shrimp, its sad to see a person so young with such a drab attitude, fyi life gets harder than serving shrimp, but I doubt papa can control her, for she is rude with him as well, not a good look. Running a business is not just product, but it is also good customer service and customer appreciation. Enough with that lets move on to the food… it was nothing out of the ordinary, however if you have a taste for fried fish, shrimp or fried whatever else that comes out of the sea, than this is your place.

First time here and it was great, friendly staff and great shrimp. The shrimp is large and tasty, I got the the 10 pc with fries and coleslaw for about $ 13, well worth it. There was also poor boys on the menu and other seafood items that looked good also. I will definitely return, highly recommend.

Fast food shrimp… what a brilliant idea. There’s only one better that I know of and it’s in Indiana… but this is good brown bag eating. I love it. Its got chairs and tables but its so small, you’d probably wanna just take your food and go.

Amazing! I had a groupon for the fried lobster, lobster bisque, fries and coleslaw. I redeemed it two weeks ago but hadn’t Unilocaled it, until I visited this location’s ugly sister… But I digress… Every single item in this meal was delicious. The fried lobster was cut in to bite sized pieces and fried to perfection: crispy-crunchy on the outside, delicate and succulent on the inside. The lobster bisque was an delicious detour in this meal. Rich. flavorful and full of lobster meat(I found a piece of claw meat, Yay me!) The fries were pefectly fried and not greasy. Coleslaw was even tasty, kudos to them. If you are planning to try Just Sprimp, do you self a favor and visit this location. I had the same meal at the Alsip location and the only remotely edible item was the coleslaw. Bottom Line: This place is F’Awesome!

Thought I would give this place a try and was completely disgusted not only was there a ton of breading but when I bit into my shrimp the vein and eggs were still in the shrimp! I almost threw up couldn’t even try a second one. They need to clean and devein their stump! Will never go back!

We tried the fried shrimp and the lobster rolls and definitely enjoyed the shrimp the most. Shrimp were large and nicely breaded. It was very busy on a Saturday evening, but didn’t have to wait long for our order. Staff was friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be returning!

Awesome shrimps. I ordered the 10 piece shrimps and barely ate all of them b/c they were so big. Definitely worth the money. The cheesesticks I wasn’t impressed with them but the restaurant is called Just Shrimp lol. My food was still hot when I got home which was great b/c I hate reheating my food. I would go back again.

Fast service, fries and coleslaw not too bad. But this is just shrimp. Shrimp was over breaded, tough and the worst part is someone forgot to devein all 35 of the shrimp we ordered. ugh gross I almost got sick do they know what that is and why we take that out? Never again!!!

Awesome shrimp! I only order their fried shrimp by the pound and nothing else. They did an amazing job with the breading because it doesn’t get soggy by the time you get to eat it. The pieces are big. Remember to use their Groupon though! It’s $ 1 cheaper than what they sell in the store.

This place is great. Today is my first time here. The jumbo fried shrimp are maybe the best I’ve ever had. Batter is light compared to other places, which means you can actually taste the plump shrimp inside. The cocktail sauce is also very good. Not very spicy but they have several different sauces(cocktail, buffalo, spicy, etc) so you can get it as spicy as you like. The lobster roll is also good. Coleslaw is creamy and delicious. Fries are also good and not greasy. I will definitely be back!

Huge shrimp breaded and fried in panko. The place is tiny and usually pretty busy, so you might not be able to eat in. The staff was friendly. My mother ordered the calamari, and afterwards wished she’d ordered the shrimp. The calamari is totally overwhelmed by the panko and was rather flavorless, but not chewy or tough. The fries are pretty mediocre and I’d skip them next time. I recommend the spicy sauce. It’s cream or mayo based and is quite good. It’s quick and cheap and not too greasy, despite everything being fried. Good for an unhealthy lunch.

I tried this place the other day for the first time. I was not aware of this establishment until I saw a Groupon for shrimp. The place itself is more of a carry out operation but has 8 tables if you would like to sit and eat. You walk up to a counter to order. The menu is not large and is all seafood. The owner and staff were all enthusiastic about what they were doing and the owner went to every table to ask how things were. Very good service. For me the shrimp is very good but not my favorite. I base it on what type of breading which I prefer a lighter tpye. This one was a thicker coarser type which is tasty. I was just thrilled to see that there was a lobster roll on this menu. A relatively rare thing especally in the south burbs. This one is one of the best I have ever had and I have eaten many up and down the New England areas. It was also ample in size compared to most. It had the correct type of bun and just the perfect amount of mayo in it. Yuo cannot go wrong with this one. There was also an oyster po-boy and various other seafood sandwhiches and plates that come with fries and slaw. There was also a fried lobster dinner available and many other items I want to try. The prices seem very fair. I will be back to try more or the menu soon. If you like seafood at a good price and quality you should try this place.

Not a bad place. Very friendly service. I was a little put off by the pungent fish odor, as you walk in. But we ordered fried shrimp and fries. The fried shrimp is way over breaded, but flavorful. Extremely filling, with all of the breading. I could only eat three. The french fries were under done, store bought frozen crinkle cut fries. Ok now the sauces… They don’t have a full grasp of buffalo sauce. It was almost ketchupy… there is zero ketchup in buffalo sauce, friends. The hot sauce was simply hot. No real flavor. It over powered the shrimp. Wasn’t really a good pairing. The cocktail sauce was decent… The coleslaw was the bomb. Nice and creamy. Good texture and cut on the cabbage. Maybe they should call themselves, just coleslaw. All in all, not terrible. Just not the best ever.

Went in for lunch on a weekday. Great place. Very clean, very organized, very friendly. Ordered the lobster roll and a 4pc shrimp. The Lobster Roll is packed with large pieces of lobster. I mean jam packed. It’s a great sandwich. The shrimp are huge. Cooked perfectly. I liked the breading(even though I’m somewhat partial to a different kind), and there’s a selection of all different sauces. I’d like to get back soon and try other things like their fish n chips. Very happy I stopped in.

Not bad. Same owners as Chicken Wild. I guess they didn’t do that well with that concept, but I liked it quite a bit. With the smaller number of choices I fear this place may go down pretty fast. With all that said, food isn’t bad. It’s your standard fish fry place pretty much except they specialize in shrimp(not bad, but not outstanding.) There isn’t enough of a selection and prices are just okay. I guess the nice thing though is that there really isn’t a place like this in the area.
