What a surprise — this place is out of business now, too. Owner let the Glenwood store, a local staple for over 30 years, get run into the ground, and now he’s done the same here. Pizza was always good, salads were always good — ownership/management snatches failure from the jaws of success! Nice job. Go to Aurelios if you want good pizza. They never fail and aren’t morons, like some owners.

This has to be my favorite pizza in the Chicago suburbs! I have been going here for a long time due to family reunions. I am never disappointed here! I usually get my pizza delivered, and I never had a problem with the delivery guy. He was friendly to my relatives. We never had a problem with the service! They are also quick with the delivery! The pizza is amazing! I usually get a half cheese and half pepperoni pizza. The flavor of the pizza is different and it tastes excellent! I like the crust as well! All in all, best pizza in the suburbs! I’ll be back here soon!

Pan pizza here is delicious! Also the free bread is so warm and soft! The bruschetta has a LOT of onions in it tho, so hold off if that’s not your thing…

This place is absolutely garbage. GARBAGE. Mushrooms and olives taste like they are canned and just thrown on. Do not waste your money on this awful place. Waited longer than expected and wish I didn’t wait at all. DON’T GOHERE!

Came here on Thursday night. It was pretty busy so service was lacking. Ordered the Caesar salad, pasta, and the Alfredo pizza. Salad was not good, pasta was ok. But the pizza was amazing. The only reason for the 4 stars. Would definitely come here again and only order pizza.

Tried our best to plan a nice Wedding Rehearsal dinner here, but Tim the owner just would not accommodate our 26 people. Tim the owner said he would work with us, because we expressed that we had many that wanted to eat light the night before the big day. But after taking our deposit, he insisted that any party over 15 had to pay for 30 all-you-can-eat pizza, pop and salad. Well it turned out we had 23 adults and three children. I guess his promise to «work with us» was to have us pay $ 510 and take none of the food home. We knew we would eat like birds and could not see giving Tim all that money, so we walked away from our deposit and this place forever. Btw, we found a great meal at parmasan station with dessert, for under $ 300 for the same number of people. No deposit! Thanks Eric.

While this place has been here forever, I’ve only been here a few times. Their pizza has a pretty sweet sauce, which I’m not a fan of. However, my husband and I have come a few times for regular entrees and always leave satisfied and stuffed. The portions are generous and the pasta dishes, appetizers, and side salads are good. I’ve never had to wait for a table– even on a Fri or Sat evening around dinnertime. Place is clean and servers are friendly enough.

Been here a bunch of times since my initial review. My friends and I like to come in during the week for some cocktails and food. Still good pizza and such. Tried the Tombolli for the first time and it was very good. On garlic bread with sausage, beef combo with some pepperoni along with sweet green peppers, onions, mushrooms and toasted with some mozzarella cheese on top. A really good sandwich.

Meh. We went here with another family and the place was empty on a Friday night. We had cheese sticks and a large salad to start out with. Both were ok. We also had a couple of pizzas. Both were ok. Kids had pop and adults had beer. Everything was just ok. Our server did a great job.

Went this past Saturday 11÷01÷14 for a family members birthday. Called on Thursday to make the reservation and told the person on the phone that it was a birthday and could I bring a cake. Was told it was not a problem. Let me say that food and the service was good. Now that dinner is complete and it’s time for the cake. The server comes to our table and says there is a $ 20 cake cutting fee. After the initial shock wore off what are you supposed to do. Just be fore warned if this is on anyone’s agenda! I hope the manager spends or invests it well because they will never see another dime from the twelve people in our party!

Try this again. We had our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here and I had made the reservation 2 months in advance. So the day of I called 2 hours before we were supposed to arrive and thank god I did. One of the owners answered and he was pretty pleasant to deal with and made sure we had the tables set up because he informed me that there was no reservation for me. So after the meal was served my parents told me they would flip the bill and they did, my mom had a coupon that nowhere on it stated anything about being excluded due to packages, matter of fact my mother in law was at that same location a month previous and that same exact coupon was used on a package deal. So then tells my mom that the party was a last minute booking, so when I approached the other owner who talked to my mom he got in attack mode and I thought this was going to end up in a physical altercation, but I think when he saw a lot of my bridal party come over to where I was he all the sudden got real quiet. What I would like to really say about him I won’t on here due to the fact that I have way more class than him. After reading all the negative remarks about him on here maybe it’s time to find a new career, Thursday night at 7:00pm and besides our party there were 2 more customers in the restaurant and I will never ever return after being treated like that!

On Monday they have an really good pizza lunch special. I usually go at night and that’s when I get the steak or the chicken parm sandwich. Megan the bartender knows her stuff and the staff as a whole is friendly and helpful.

Despite the negative reviews on service, I have always had good service. Probably because I don’t go around barking orders like I’m the owner. I always see comments about service and the only thing I can say about service comments is — people are whiners. NEVER go by just the«service» comments. What one considers bad service I might be perfectly happy with. As for the food. I LOVE their pizza. It’s comparatively priced. It’s got a unique sauce and they’re not afraid of putting cheese on the pizza. It’s always fresh and hot even delivered in this cold. Their soups are fantastic. Love the Tomato Tortellini and their Broccoli Cheddar. Not a salad eater, can’t comment. Pasta, wife orders it regularly. I’m told its very good. Bread sticks are the traditional«bread» type. Soft and buttery. So, if you’re looking for some place with some above average Italian cuisine, this is a great place to start.

Bartender pours with a heavy hand, fresh baked served warm and soft, decent pasta and meat, and a killer diavolo sauce. It’s a good place to go if you’re in a pinch. Not the best Italian food ever, but if that’s what you’re looking for: go to an Italian home, not a restaurant.

Went hear the other day with a party of 10. Place wasn’t very busy though there were two other decent size parties of maybe 6 or 7 in the dining room but overall the place wasn’t busy. Service was VERY poor. Took about 10 minutes to be greeted at the table, probably another ten minutes to get drinks. Nobody at the table got a refill the entire time despite paying $ 2.95 per soft drink and wanting to get a refill or two. My niece didn’t get her milk until about 40 minutes into the meal. Appetizer came out then waited another half hour, then salad came out, everything took a very long time. Finally dinner came out but nobody had bothered to remove the plates and dishes from appetizers or salads so table was full of stuff. Two dishes that people specifically asked for with no meat sauce came out with meat sauce and meatballs on it. Service was so poor mid meal I had to Unilocal them nad sure enough there’s a number of other one star reviews talking about the poor service. Food wasn’t terrible but was nothing to write home about and was not outrageously expensive but was expensive for quality, service, and portion sizes which were small for an italian restaurant. I know most restaurants automtaically add in an 18% tip for parties of 6 or more but the kicker was when we got the bill and it was 20% or something like a $ 30 tip for quite possibly the worst service I’ve ever had. Will not be returning back here and would encourage others to go to another restaurant.

Just dined here with a very large party, and the service was abysmal. We phoned ahead weeks in advance to make sure they could accommodate us. They had the tables so tightly packed it was near impossible to get to a seat or get out of a seat. When we FINALLY were asked for our drink order, our waitress shot a dirty glance at a member of my party who was talking and laughing to someone, and actually rolled her eyes and muttered«I can’t wait to get off work. «She also pitched a fit when we requested separate checks. I observed the other waitress being short with another table of ours. I have worked in food service for years and was appalled by the rudeness with which we were met. I will go to Gatto’s just up the street next time– they value me as a customer.

This is where my dad and step-mom take me when I take the train down to visit. It is very close to the 80th Ave Metra Stop. The service is ALWAYS fantastic and super friendly. We opted for Caesar Salads since it was a Friday(tmi for this post). The salad was well made. Bread is accompanied by olive oil and parmesan cheese to be mixed and dipped. The pizza is good. We chose to go with Spinach, Garlic, and Mushrooms… well-done. Draft beer is available. Besides you normal/basic beers, they do also have fat tire bottles. I think this place would do more business if they had a larger selection of microbrews. When you receive the bill you do not pay your server, you have to go up to the counter and pay… kind of a pain, but it all works out. There is a separate entrance and exit… this is nice since the exit area gets a little crowded with people paying or with people putting on coats and saying goodbye to one another. This is a family place. I also saw a few birthday parties taking place.
