Thought we would try the fish fry at The Break Room last Friday. It was great! Not only were there numerous sides to go with the dinner, you also had a choice of fried or broiled fish. The service was good and we received our dinner within 10 minutes. The décor of the dining side is nothing to brag about, however it looks like they may be in the process of some remodeling. Hey… I can handle that as long as the food and service is good! We’ll be back!

A bit of a wait but was worth it. Wing Night, all you can eat with a beverage. The wings are just plane lightly battered but done. You can add the sauce after. Wish they had more sauces to offer though. Maybe teriyaki or a chipotle?

There were 4 of us. Three had the prime and one sirloin steak. One ordered med/rare the rest was med/well. They all came very well done. Baked poatoes were hard and cold. Even the side salad could have been better. The décor was nice and the waiter was good, just not impressed with the food.

Stopped in while passing through town and enjoyed the Friday night fish fry. Great fish dinner with choice of potato, beans, and coleslaw all under &10. Make sure and try the Buffalo Sweat dark stout on tap if you’re into dark beer.

Really great bar to stop and watch a game. Wednesday wing night is great. 6.99 plus a drink and they serve till 9pm. Get to choose from a number of sauces and the wings are good sized. Recommend mixing hot and bbq sauce together. Bar is friendly and they will read your mind when you want a drink. Drinks are served strong they won’t short you. Spotted cow on tap. Bar can get crowded but they do their best to serve everyone.

Just a quick overnight in Tomah and decided to check out The Breakroom fish fry. Pleasant local experience, nothing fancy for environment but very clean and excellent service. We wanted a Friday night WI fish fry and we were not disappointed. Well cooked fish, choice of potatoes, cole slaw, and baked beans washed down with a cold beer. At a very reasonable price! Very satisfied!

Might be the best Friday fish-fry in Tomah,. Our party had a good selection of what was available for the fish fry(fried v. broiled fish, various potatoes, cottage cheese v. slaw, etc.) and everyone was happy with what they selected. For pub chow, this is good pub chow in a friendly environment with energetic and happy servers. Not the fanciest place around, but good food and good service beats fancy all day long. Recommended.

Every night the owner has a different special. Tuesday night is buck burger night, Wednesday night is all you can eat chicken wings, get there early, Thursday is pizza night, Friday night is Fish Fry with two sides, Prime rib on Saturday night. Sunday build your own Blood Mary Bar and Breakfast served every morning. The place is neat looking with signage up and it always clean.

This place doesn’t do much to set itself apart from the other spots in Tomah, but the interior is pretty nice. They also have a full service short-order cook for breakfast, lunch and dinner. In fact, when we were looking over the menu, the chef came by to tell us that we should get the Cajun Shrimp because he’s a «badass at shrimp.» Now be warned, he said that it is his family recipe and not the usual menu item, so don’t go blaming me if they aren’t as good as I claim. But for reals, they were the best damn shrimp I’ve ever had.
