This is a hidden gem that is definitely worth checking out! The place is small but it is clean, the service is outstanding and the food is top-​notch! I often just eat in but they have a great take out service as well as delivery too! The prices are excellent for the portion you receive. This is my all time favorite Chinese food restaurant and I am glad that I can spend my money locally on a mom & pop establishment! Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

Cute little mom and pop Chinese place. Excellent shrimp lo mein, egg rolls, cashew chicken, and general tso’s chicken. Very small and compact but they do have a delivery service and everything that I have tried here has always been excellent.

We order from then all the time where I work and their food is delicious! The poor delivery driver was late one day due to traffic and was very apologetic and gave us complimentary drinks and egg rolls. Very nice place.

This place is amazing. I almost didn’t even write a review because everything had been said in previous reviews!
This is a typical mom-​and-​pop Chinese food place. I always get General Tso’s Chicken. This is not my favorite place to get it, but it is a close second. My favorite place has more breading on their chicken, which I appreciate. The sauce is spicy, exactly what I expect.
This is a great place to go on a date or with a close group of friends. It didn’t look like the could accommodate a large ground, which is why I gave 4 stars. Overall, you won’t be disappointed here. The price is actually on the low side for what you get.

Had dinner here with our friends and the service was fast! Food was fresh and portions were perfect. Everything tasted wonderful. The place isn’t much to look at. But, the service and food made up for that! Would definitely try them again!

I enjoyed the shrimp fried rice and pepper steak.

I usually get take out from here. I love their food. Good portions and great flavor. My suggestion, stop by and get a take out menu, call and order some evening on your way home, stop by and pick up. Really great food.

Had the veggie lo mein. It was fine but lacked salt big time. Friend had the sesame chicken and said it was too salty. Needs more tofu/​veg options as well. Service was very fast though which was nice.

The General Tsao’s chicken was good but a bit heavy on the soy sauce in the base. No problem with service. Good and reasonably priced food. Not great but good. Quick, hospitable service

I’ve loved everything I’ve tried! My favorite it the Hunan Chicken. LOVE the egg rolls! My favorite part about their food is that it’s even better as leftovers! The restaurant is small inside but comfortable. I always get delivery or carry out. One of my favorite places in Houston!

The Dent Guys are work so hard pushing out the Hail Damage in the shop we called in a delivery order from this Chang’s for the shop. We all ordered beef and broccoli. We called in the order and they arrived just in time with all the food hot n ready.

Definitely one of the best Chinese restaurants in the Magnolia/​Tomball area. The food is good… but not out of this world, the restaurant was clean and the staff were friendly. Take out portions are larger than the dine-​in portions.

Went here for lunch one day with a friend to try something different in the area. Place was actually pretty full when we walked in, which was a pleasant surprise. If there are that many people then it must be good, right? It was also clean inside, no weird odors and no dirty /​unbussed tables.
The inside is very basic, no fancy fluff. But most of these small mom & pop chinese food places are like that.
The menu is pretty much what you would find at any little chinese food place.
I don’t remember exactly what we ordered that day, but I do remember it was good, hot, and fresh. We talked about adding this place to our usual rotation of places to go to lunch… Heck, it beats the pants off the Panda Express across the street.

Love the food. Delivery time can be long but glad they deliver. Food is spicy so be careful if ordering for kids.

Not much to look at, but this is quality Mom & Pop Chinese food!
Hot and sour soup had lots of new and «extra» flavors (e.g., green onion, maybe?) which worked really well. I learned from an employee they make it fresh four times a day.
The Kung Pao Shrimp arrived at my table quickly and piping hot. The diced vegetables were not overworked (cooked but still crisp and obviously fresh produce), and the shrimp was firm without being rubbery or tough. Staff was polite and eager to seat me, and was comfortably attentive.
The phone rang at least six times in 30 minutes, and I saw four customers pickup orders in that time frame — they clearly do a lot of take-​away business. This little restaurant is exactly what it claims to be: a family-​owned establishment that puts up good, economical food made fresh to order. Before I left, I struck up a conversation with a woman who has been eating here for twenty years. Now that I know about it, I won’t hesitate to come back when I’m short on time and long on hunger.

Chang’s is a great Chinese place hidden in Tomball. Price is the cheapest you’ll come across. Food is pretty decent, almost top notch. It is hard to find a place with this quality and price ratio. Owners are not rude, I’d be surprised to see rude phone behavior repeated after the initial reports.

Well, clearly the woman answering the phone doesn’t need our business!
We tried to place an order to go and even pay over the phone, and she copped an attitude saying we need to show up in person and she refused to take our order and said she wouldn’t without us being there.
Ok, understandable to some extent though I don’t understand not taking payment over the phone. We then try and locate the business and call back asking for landmarks and told her we were in a shopping center and wanted to confirm this was correct. She began screaming at us including spelling out the name of the restaurant in a condescending manner, and hung up the phone!
Clearly, her business is doing well enough that she doesn’t need us as customers, so, we’re going to Panera Bread with better food and better service!!!

This wonderful little restaurant is a favorite at my apartment~
My two roommates and I were ecstatic to find a place we can all agree on!
I. Always. Have. Them. Deliver.
Their menu says that is a $ 12 minimum for a delivery order,
but their lunch items are only $ 5 – 6 and they have brought me out a meal for one.
I do make it worth their time with a good (and well earned) tip~
The chicken, pork, and shrimp are all fantastic and worth way more than they charge.
An order of soup, a side of rice, and an egg roll all come with a lunch order. With dinner you have to order the egg rolls separately, but you will be sorry if you don’t!
Their lo mein is a must have!
It comes as heaping amount that is two meals, at least, three for me!
I whole-​heartily agree with Eric G. when he says, «I seriously don’t know how they stay in business with the amount of food they give their customers.»
Now that I am on Unilocal it will become obvious how enjoyable their food is by the number of check ins I will have here!
