Big T’s Hobbies

Same as another reviewer stated… The shop isn’t open according to the business hours stated on his open sign, half the time the shop opens much later than what’s stated on the sign or it’s not even open at all! Seems to me like the owner doesn’t take his business seriously. Also he seems to BS a lot when he doesn’t know what he’s talking about just to make a sale, so be careful on any advice given (doesn’t seem like he actually knows his products). One other thing I noticed is he doesn’t support what he sells the greatest, so if you buy something from him and expect parts support after good luck… Seems like he just cares about the one time/​initial sale.

The First time we went to big Ts he was a big help, his shop was brand new and needed the business. (We were even over charged but didn’t say anything.) We thought he was so great we went back several times, AFTER 6pm but was never open. Sign says 6pm-​10pm
When we finally found the shop to be open we were excited to go. When we told him we went several times after 6pm and didn’t find him. He went on a rant how NOW he has a full time job, and has to go home and shower before he comes to his «hobby» hobby shop. Maybe he should change the sign to «after shower– 10pm»
My husband had a legitimate questions about breaking in a new battery, because he had seen lots of videos of different ways of breaking them in. We went to big T’s because of his knowledge, but instead he looked down on us, and made us feel inferior. We are not experts so we went to him for info.
We were apparently interrupting his TV time.
We told him he should check out the videos so he can inform people of the awful mistake they were making, and maybe gain some new costomers.
He made it very clear he had plenty of costomers.
Well you just lost some costomers. Good luck in your new «full time job»
