Definitely gives you a hometown feel and everyone is very friendly as soon as you walk in.
Ask for Lynn, she’s been cutting my hair and fixing my hair disasters for 10+ years. Not sure what the pricing criteria is, but for my haircuts its always been in the $ 10 – 15 range.
Closed on Mondays, HIGHLY recommended that you call to see how long the wait is since this place is pretty popular, especially on weekends.

I haven’t gone anywhere else since Lynne first cut my hair here in 1986, a few months after she started and after I had tried several other shops, none satisfactory. Through the years and the personalities and changes here, it remains a friendly, home town place that does good work for fair prices. Throughout college and since, my son arranges his schedule around being able to get his cuts here, even though he no longer lives in the South Bay. Thank you to Lynne for being a great person and a great barber.

The group here seems to be pretty tight-​knit, and they have their share of regulars coming in and out. They were very friendly, and I got a great cut for a more than reasonable price. Will definitely come back!

Awesome place to get a haircut, I go here quite often and the Barbers are really nice, friendly, and Professional, I live in Wilmington California and there’s Barber Shops all over Wilmington California and I prefer and recommend California Barber and Styles in Torrance California! Lynn is just the best!

Friendliest and nicest barbers in Torrance. Lynn and her team make everyone feel welcome and at home. Really convenient hours, including Saturday and Sunday. I’ve been coming here for about 15 years! The staff and environment are friendly. People of all ages come here to get a quality haircut of various styles and cuts.
The young children that come here really take to Lynn because of her charming and caring attitude towards them. I’ve tried other barbershops in town but no one can cut hair the way they do!

I have been going here for years, even before Lynne took over. Lynne provides great customer service and the haircut is great. Not expensive, and feels like you are hanging out with friends… which you are.

Seriously loved the cut i got here! Lynn the owner was the nicest lady ive ever met at a barbershop. Sergio ended up cutting my hair and he really knew what he was doing and gave me a fresh new hairstyle. A TRUE STORY. Fresh out of college I had my first «real adult job» interview the following morning. I spent my savings on a pair of shoes and a suit. At the first rotating red, white & blue barber pole I asked for a trim. Upon completion I gazed at an uneven short bowl haircut. I don a baseball cap and searched for an immortal to fix my chopped hairdo. I was relieved when I peered through a barber shop’s window and saw a police officer getting a haircut. I walked in the shop and was greeted by a female stylist. As I waited my turn I could not help but notice the stylist talking and laughing loudly while simultaneously cutting hair effortless, gracefully and swiftly. At my turn, i hesitantly removed my baseball cap. A loud laugh filled the room. The stylist smiled, pointed to a sign on her wall that said, «We fix haircuts,» and without hesitation said, «I can fix it, and resumed talking and laughing with all of her seated clients. After a few minutes, she handed me a mirror. I stared at a masterful military haircut. 20 years later I still walk into her shop, tell her how I want my hair cut or just simply ask for, «the usual.»
She is simply the best hairstylist around the Southbay. Do not take my word for it, just go get your haircut there and you will concur.

Got my hair cut from Lynn and what a surprise. Someone in the southbay that can do a proper fade. I’ve been to countless barbers throughout the past couple years and no barber has given me a fade that I thoroughly liked until this past weekend. Not only was the cut good but the shop had such a friendly vibe that getting my haircut was great and not like a chore. Definitely going to be a regular at this shop for years to come.

Great place. Super friendly with a family feeling. They have a joyful happy atmosphere. Lynn is AWESOME. She is attentive, funny and talented. Especially great with kids. My nephew HATED having his hair cut till we found Lynn. She was so patient, respectful and caring. Now he LOVES having his hair cut. She and the other barbers really care about the clients and giving them exactly the look they want. Highly recommended. THE BEST. Also really cheap. Call ahead to avoid a long line. It’s a really popular place.

I have been going here as long as I have been getting my hair cut, they are wonderful people and always do a good job. They are very friendly and care about their customers, they always know you and love to talk. Your haircut may take a little longer because everyone is talking but you enjoy the time spent there. They are cash only and don’t take appointments but I never want to find another barber.

Been Taking my boys here for 7 years now and Lynn (the owner) does a superb job on the haircuts! Clean Barber Shop; prices are moderate; parking is great! Highly recommend!

I love that this barber shop really catches the local essence of Torrance. The walls are covered with pictures of local sports stars, the Torrance Fire Department, and a bunch of other local pictures. It really does feel like that local barber shop.
