The rug I purchases was well packed in a sturdy carton and in excellent condition upon arrival. Speedy service from FedEx.
Also the rug was as described and as pictured. My one question about the rug binding on the long edges was quickly answered by Rose. I won’t hesitate to do business with them again.

I was excited to find Catalina Rug online and impressed by the pictures they use to display their inventory. I ordered an Afghan rug that was represented online as 4’10″ x 6’10″. The length was somewhat less than I wanted but I really liked the design and colors in the pictures so I ordered it anyway.
The rug they shipped to me was clearly the one pictured online and I was happy with the appearance. But it was 4’10″ x 6’5″, not the 6’10″ length stated online! This is not an insignificant difference and clearly a misrepresentation. There is no possible room for interpretation as the fringe is very short.
Ordering something like this online makes the accuracy of the pictures and the dimensions extremely important so you can know what you are buying. In my case at least, the representation was not accurate.
I called to point out the discrepancy and was told they would look into it and get back to me. They did call me back and blamed the difference on a conversion error from cm to inches. I was left with the choice of packing up the rug and shipping it back to California or keeping it. I kept it. And decided to report my experience on Unilocal

Catalina Rug is the best when it comes to quality, selection and service. I have purchased ten rugs from them over the last six years. They always seem to have what we are looking for and they are very easy to work with. Their pricing is very reasonable given the quality of their product. Our homes are much more beautiful today thanks to Catalina Rug!
