Chungin Acupuncture

Dr. Kim is a wizard! I was in such great pain and a well respected Orthopedic/​Sports Medicine place couldn’t figure it out. Dr. Kim figured it out 10 minutes!
His combination of acupuncture, massage, manipulation, heat and stretches had me off my crutches the first session. And he works a full hour and knows what he’s doing. After 8 sessions I was 100% better and ready to start some rehab.
And he is super affordable! Unbelievable! I paid less for 8 sessions with Dr Kim than I did for the MRI the Orthopedist took… and it was so worth it.
I recommend Dr Kim for anyone suffering from pain of any sort… he truly is a wizard.

I went here this afternoon. I’ve had pain in my upper back, along me shoulder blades, my neck all the way to my ear, and had muscle spasms on my chest (think of it as a Charlie horse, but on my chest every time I moved). This had been happening for about for about 5 weeks. After seeing my personal Dr 3 weeks ago, he gave me some muscle relaxers and pain relievers to help me sleep but as soon as I finished the medication the pain continued. I have been in pain ever since. I finally could not take the throbbing pain in my back and my work does not help since I drive and work with my hands a lot, so I decided to pay Dr Chung-​in a visit. I have lived in the So. Bay most of my life so I was familiar with the location of his office. I admited me immediately and after a detailed explanation of what was happening to me he knew exactly what was going on. His English is not so great but I understood everything he said to me and he understood me. He took his time and asked several questions during the treatment. Bu the time he was done, to my surprise I was feeling much better. The throbbing pain was gone and I was feeling better that I have felt in 5 weeks. Before I left I scheduled my next follow up appointment. I strongly recommend him. Taking pain killers is not the answer and is bad for your liver.

The doctor is awesome and very courteous. He really know his stuff. He helped me reduce my blood pressure by getting down to the core of the problem: heart and liver condition. He customized the medicine for my body. I’m really greatful and you won’t regret it.

THE BEST AND THE ONLY PLACE I WILL EVER GO IN CALI! I was out in Cali to visit my parents and stopped by this clinic. I live in NY and been to many different acupuncturist for my back problems. few years ago I was in a snowboarding accident and fractured two vertebrae in the lower back with tore muscles. Also my profession does not allow me to sit at anytime which puts more stress on my back.
Upon entering, the atmosphere was VERY welcoming. The clinic was full of orchids and plants that it was more like a flower shop then anything else. Dr. Kim did not speak much English but understood well enough. The number one reason why I like this place so much is that Dr. Kim seems to be confident in his Acupuncture and really knowledgeable on how the human body. After the acupuncture, it was followed with a type of shiatsu message and therapeutic stretching.
After the first acupuncture session was over, he assured me that three more sessions would completely heal my back problems and he taught me few stretching exercises that would help with the recuperation process. With the stretching exercises and two sessions after, he told me that I did not need to come anymore. He said that the last session was not needed as long as I did the stretching exercises everyday.
It has been few weeks since and I am have no problems with my back and without the back pains I have been able to sleep deeper and no stiffness when I wake up.
