If you are hungry, there are worse places to grab a bite. Two crispy tacos were adequate, chicken plentiful if a bit bland, lettuce was fresh. Guacamole ordered on the side was quite oxidated and bland. Could have used more salt at the very least. Will come back here if in the neighborhood and hungry, but would not bring a friend!

The food is normally pretty good, but the service not so much. I ordered a salad at the drive thru, came home and realized they didn’t give me any salad dressing. Also the cashier wasn’t very pleasant.

The service is terrible. I come here because it’s the closest one and I like el pollo but this place sucks. The wait is abnormal and they seem to to be extremely disorganized.
I waited 15 minutes when no one was there because they were waiting on one thing. A salad! They had everything there to make the salad however. So strange. Bad management. I have had missing items several times out of the several times I’ve been.
If you can find one closer go there.

The food at El pollo loco is always good… I just never come to this particular location until today… Pulled into the drive through at 12:30pm today to grad something quick and the young lady taking the order was so rude! There was no language barrier since she and I spoke perfect English. As if her tone of voice and attitude just taking the order wasn’t bad enough when I pulled up to pay she was laughing and giggling with someone and didn’t even acknowledge me waiting to give her money… Once she was done with her conversation she opened her window and simply stated the dollar amount she wanted… Took the money handed me a bag and shut the window.
I sat there for 30 seconds in astonishment upon how unprofessional she was and that this large company would allow their employee to treat their paying customers in such a poor manner!
I understand this a fast food chain, I understand she probably hates her job, but honestly people should have integrity in what they do regardless of what it is… So many people are looking for jobs and this you do lady has one but doesn’t appreciate it.

This place has one of the worst services I ever had in my life … I will net go back to this place.

If I could give this place No stars I would. Super dirty. Gave them the benefit of the doubt and figured someone was having a bad day. Next visit nothing changed this place deserves a C– for the letter grade

They ran out of chicken at 8:50pm…really??? Your company name is El Pollo loco. And I’m starving and was craving El Pollo loco. I won’t be coming back to this location .they’re a joke. Especially how they said we ran out of chicken and had no other option, no coupon, no nothing.

I go to this location all the time because it is close to home. My experience from this Friday evening was dreadful. I always go through the drive thru and would order the Mexican Cobb Salad and their two piece legs and thighs with my coleslaw and mashed potatoes. So I get to the window and the lady cashier informs me that they ran out of mashed potatoes, would you like to substitute it? My response was yeah gimme corn. Then come back to tell me that they ran out of corn. I threw my hands in the air like really how yall run out of corn and mashed potatoes and it is the weekend!!! I told her give me rice and luckily they had rice! So I get home and the Mexican Cobb Salad was missing the bacon bits, CORN (I think it is supposed to come with corn), no red salsa in the bag… they probably ran out of that and was too frustrated and tired to ask for red salsa, and my flour tortillas were overcooked.

This El Pollo Loco location is conveniently located within a few blocks from home and the gym. So whenever I get done doing a strenuous workout, and need a big meal to help my muscles recover, I come get a double chicken plate from here.
I like the fact that this place has a drive thru, so I can just get my food and enjoy it at home. The drive thru has always been hassle free, but dining in may have you waiting a bit longer.
They constantly switch up their menu, and they always come up with new good options. The double-​chicken entrees are the best, and their shrimp pates aren’t too shabby. I usually get an iced tea to wash it all down. Also, I recommend getting their cilantro sauce. It’s a light-​green sauce that you have to specifically ask for at the cashier’s, and they should give you some at no cost. That stuff is delicious! It can go on just about anything.

My first time coming, their chicken legs & thighs surprised me, I think this is great quality and taste for a fast food place, and definitely a healthier choice. Love the Chicken and tamale plate, only $ 5.99

The remodel is nice and the place needed it but it still doesn’t change the fact that they ALWAYS get something wrong on my drive thru order… And I found a hair in my tostada salad… Can we re train your employees Pollo Loco? That’s the part that needs work! It’s close to me and the food is semi– healthy for fast food so I continue to go here BUT it would be nice if they got my order 100% correct ⁹⁄₁₀ times.

Last Monday I ordered a loco salad and got food poisoning from either their guacamole dressing or from the salad. It took me 4 days to recover. I can’t believe how ill it made me. I don’t know if I can ever eat there again.

Usually when I come here, I go through the drive through and I never have any problems with the speed of service (unless the person in front of me can’t decide what they want… It’s chicken, rice, or beans, it can’t be THAT difficult) or my order being right. I decided to go in today after class and it’s very nice and clean inside. Even the restrooms were clean (the ladies one at least). It was a pleasant surprise compared to the one near me. Service was very quick and correct. I’ll be back INSIDE the next time I’m craving El Pollo Loco!

I had been a loyal patron of this restaurant for over 6 years because it is close to work and the food is healthy and delicious but just in the past few weeks, the service there has been horrible, at best. This week, I went on my lunch hour to the drive-​thru, like I’ve always done before. I was in line but not at the speaker yet to place my order. There were three cars in front of me. I sat there for 18 minutes before I was able to place my order! One car that was two cars behind me, got out of line and left. When I finally got to place my order, I could barely understand the cashier because either the speaker is broken, or the microphone on her headset isnt working but her voice was garbled. I then ordered an item that was on the menu and also had a cardboard attachment at the top of the menu like it was a new item. I ordered the Chicken Avocado Enchilada Bowl and it looked fantastic. The cashier told me that they dont carry that any more and I had to pick something else. Really? I chose a tostada salad. When I got to the window to pay, I asked the cashier why they would have an item on the menu with extra cardboard signage advertising it that can not be ordered and her answer was «we need to update our menu because there are items out there that are no longer in our registers as choices». Seriously? I mentioned to her that this was the second time now in two weeks that I had come and the speaker is not working correctly and she just smiled at me and did not respond. No apologies either for the ridiculously long wait in line for food.
This place is definitely «Loco». I will not waste my time or money at this restaurant. I still like the food though and will go to another El Pollo Loco near my house instead.

I love El Pollo Loco food overall. It’s a far healthier fast food alternative than your horse meat burgers from McDonalds or Burger King. The chicken and sides are good for the most part. The problem with El Pollo Loco however is consistency! The chicken doesn’t always taste fresh (the chicken is many times over grilled and tastes like wood chips) or the service from the employees is horrible.
I recently ordered catering from this location and they did a good job. They delivered exactly what I ordered and everything tasted good. The service was ok also.
I didn’t witness anything that would make my rating go from a 3 to a 4 or higher. They just executed the order correctly and everyone was happy.

A step up above the normal fast food chains. Love the stuffed quesadilla. I also ask for the creamy cilantro dressing, goes good with just about anything:-) if you want to go healthy, they also have a really good under 500 calorie whole wheat avocado burrito. For drinks, you can also get a horchata, it’s not super authentic but it’s a nice option. It’s keeps me coming back.

Wow, I always came here for their good chicken. It’s so good. But a few days ago I came here for their carne asada meals. I ordered the carne asada stuffed quesadilla. And had a coupon in the mail that if I spent 10 bucks I get another carne asada item for free. That’s why I came.
I ordered a carne asada burrito also. The quesadilla was good!!! I liked it. It’s still fast food but it’s really good. And they have fresh salsa and peppers. The meat ration in their burritos and quesadillas was good. It got me full and left with half a burrito. Lol.
Only thing I hated was when I was coming out, I notice someone swiped my rear bumper. I was so pissed. I suggest you park on the dentist side or keep an eye on your car as you eat. Smh. Other than that, I had a good meal here

Portion sizes were better than the last el pollo I had visited. They got my order correct. .food was good.
Problem. .they didn’t put plastic utensils or napkins in my bag. Not sure what I’m going to eat my salad with.

El Pollo Loco is consistent throughout all locations. Service is always prompt and efficient. Staff is genial and attentive. Chicken is flavored just right and is flawlessly tender.
I realize that a review of El Pollo Loco isn’t tantalizing. It’s corporate, with and undeniable market share of the food industry. But I don’t want to take it for granted. It deserves recognition.
Today, it was Victor who waited on me. He called me by my name. He remembered my order. I ordered 2 legs and thigh for $ 4.50. There’s a bottomless salsa bar with a variety of choices. El Pollo Loco is a great place to go to when you’re in a rush.
