We have been coming here for about 7 – 8 years now and have always had a good meal. The sushi always taste fresh, and the rolls full of flavor. Tonight was no different. We all came out to celebrate a birthday so we tried the Samurai Boat. The rolls were full sized and not just ½ size. Everything tasted great and we all had a great dinner. The staff is always nice and attentive and the chef’s get your order out quick.

I wanna say it was called the aloha roll(or some other Hawaii-type reference). It was a spicy tuna roll that had mangos with avocado & grilled pineapple on top. Pretty bomb!

Love this place. Isn’t super fancy or anything like most sushi restaurants in LA but they have exquisite service and are very attentive to their customers. It’s clean and nicely decorated and the sushi is always fresh and plentiful. My one absolute favorite roll is called the Mamacita. It’s never on the menu but it should be; it’s supposed to be like a seasonal item but every time I go it’s available(thank god). It has jalapeño toppings so it has just the right amount of spicy to kick up the roll! Delicious! Always come here also because the atmosphere is so cool and laid back. I truly enjoy this place.

Came in 1 hour before they closed at 10:30. Customer service was great. Huge selection. Everything was great, and I ate way too much. I’ll be coming back.

Open late and the spicy tuna tempura roll and Alaskan roll are my favorite. The price wasn’t bad. $ 65 for like 5 special rolls. I didn’t like the scallop roll. The hot hot roll is pretty spicy! and I love spicy usually. They have great customer service, but it just isn’t a place I really crave.

I came here before but j didn’t write a review. today we came here for a graduation lunch. We pretty much had the whole restaurant. Purpose of lunch excellent. Quality of food disappointment. They ordered boats the first boats had California rolls and the next round we didn’t have any. The boat was mostly salad in the middle and then chicken beef kalbi and tempura. Not sure how much it was since we didn’t pay. This was like average nothing special. Later we ordered sushi and we didn’t get all we ordered. We wondered if they charged is for the items we never got. Then later they took our boats but they didn’t bring us amy of the food to take home or even offered. I didn’t want it but I think that there was too much freedom of no one really following up with the order vs payment. The service was ok nothing to say it was extra. They didn’t refill water often and when they did they didn’t fill it to the top. Our friends live this place but the rainbow roll was weak, the fish was low quality and thin the tempura spicy tuna was just a bigger spicy tuna for so much more money. We order shrimp tempura with spicy tuna we never got it. The crunch roll wasn’t what we ordered. A typical Korean owned Japanese place. I didn’t give it a one star but is very close to that.

The sushi is is delicious and fresh. The prices are fair but you totally get what you pay for. The portions are bigger than most local sushi joints. The staff is super friendly always making me have the best dining experience.

A generous meh!!! Yeah that sounds about right. Horrifically expensive lunch spot, considering everything is slightly above mediocre at best. Not sure what they are fusing together either, maybe it should be called Con-Fusion Sushi? Well around these here parts, a non-Japanese owned sushi place is almost always already confused right out of the box. Add to that a confused target market and a confused customer base and you just get some confused sushi! Most of the«rolls»(which are for gringos anyways!) were bland at best. The regular nigiri stuff was not anything noteworthy, and certainly wasn’t any better than I could get at Nijiya’s deli(which I might add is pretty damn good, especially early in the am). The waitress was impatient pissy, so that didn’t help make the visit any more optimistic. All in all, a place I’d probably not come back to unless someone else HAD to go there. TM has enough con-fusion in his life, no need for more!

Good sushi spot. Sushi quality is good. Selection of sushi could be better. They should add toro, Otoro, and amberjack. Overall great place to get some delicious sushi

Absolutely love this spot! Great place for a quick lunch or an intimate date night. I highly recommend sitting at the sushi bar — all of the Chefs are riots! Spicy Tuna Crunch Roll is my staple with every visit. Their Salmon Sashimi is incredible and their Seared Ahi Tuna is the best I’ve ever had… and I lived in Hawaii. Definitely worth a stop in. Besides Lyoto Machida LOVES this place, how could you not try it?

Sad to say, but the service was bad. As my boss and I walked in, no one greeted us and we were so confused about how the seating went. We weren’t sure whether to seat ourselves or what. We finally asked the lady and she just pointed to a table with her mouth and that’s where we sat. From the beginning, I wanted to leave already, but I just wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt hoping the sushi wouldn’t be as bad as the service. So as I was looking through the menu, I noticed that the items were more on the pricey side. I usually don’t mind paying more if the food is great, so I just gave it a try. I ordered a spicy tuna roll(YUMMY), Philadelphia roll, rainbow roll, and sweet shrimp sushi. A couple of items were off of the happy hour menu(which you have to ask for). All in all, the sushi was good, it’s just the service that really wrecked it for me. We never even got our hot tea and waters refilled :(I’d like to try this place again. I just wish the workers would be more friendlier and welcoming.

This is my family’s sushi place as they never disappoint and we are always sated after a trip here. You can never go wrong really with the special rolls they have and I have yet to get sick after eating here. I had eel for my first time ever here and was in love after that. Also, their desserts are BOMB!

Came here because Sushi Gone Wild was closer under construction… And I wish they would have been open because Fusion Sushi was a disappointment! The ambiance is casual, they play up to date music. And you can sit at the sushi bar or a table. We came during lunch time and it was slow, only about 3 tables were filled… Being it was that slow, our service was whatever. They checked on us once, and we had to wait forever on the check to come. And over all the sushi is overpriced for what you get. They should definitely lower their prices of rolls to the quality and taste it upholds. Huge sushi lover but prob won’t be coming back here, wasn’t horrible but I know there’s way better sushi places in the South Bay!

Just whatever — fish for sushi wasn’t fresh and the roll we had wasn’t firmly rolled, so it was hard to pick up. Scallop sushi was terrible. The dried seaweed wrapped for scallop sushi was really stale, so it sticked together and scallop was seasoned by sesame oil and pepper powder that didnt taste very good. My friend and I were going to go to different sushi place but they were closed, so wanted to try this place for the first time. I dont think I’ll come back.

I’ve been going to this place for several years now. It’s a good size, great for groups, has your typical sushi bar, some TVs and they stay open pretty late(10:30pm on weekdays; 11:00pm on weekends). Food-wise, there’s plenty to choose from. They have everything from standard nigiri to large combo plates with teriyaki and tempura. Bring a large group and consider splitting one of the huge sushi platters they have. Not the greatest sushi I’ve ever had(that would be in Japan) but certainly good. It’s also not the cheapest, though not the most expensive either. All-in-all this is a good place for a late sushi dinner.
