I wanted to write this review for a long time, but I feel like I am giving away a secret. I just love Daisuke. He is very kind and patient. You really feel cared for with his shiatsu. You don’t feel like you are getting ‘beat up’ with a super strong massage, but his technique is very effective in relieving tension. You also learn about where in your body is tighter and maybe make lifestyle adjustment to ease future discomfort. Reiko is very good as well, she is very strong. This is a small spot so make sure to call for an appointment. The quality of massage for the price is incredible.

This is a great shiatsu place. One hour for $ 40 is a great deal. Make sure to call first to make a reservation. Since this does not have a private room, you will be massaged with your clothes on, so make sure you dress in light material clothing. However, If you forget, they do also provide you with their clothing.

This is a great place for a shiatsu massage! I go for the 1 hr session($ 40) since the prices here are fair and the massage always helps in alleviating my tough knots. You put your personal items in a box and they even have an eyeglass case. They put a cloth over you and you will likely be asked to sit in a few positions including on your side, face down /up and sitting up. There are three tables in the room and privacy isn’t really as issue(though you might hear some snoring from the other guests, lol). Sometimes older Japanese men hang outside the plaza talking and smoking, but otherwise you get a calm massage here. I saw Daisuke the last two times I came here and he did a great job with all my neck and shoulder pain. He’s a pro and def knows how to handle knots without hurting you too much. The thing about shiatsu is it may hurt at the time, but the next day you will feel so much better!!! Considering that most foot massage places are $ 20 and only about 1⁄3 of the time is actually well spent, I recommend Kenkoh when you want a deep and consistent massage. Call ahead for an appointment.

Daisuke is the best therapist! His service and bed side manner are very professional. I felt that his pressure was soft but deeeeep. Shiatsu massage is therapeutic massage, so you can feel your blood circulation gets better after you had. If you want to take Japanese authentic shiatsu massage, you MUST try.

Came here for the first time the other day. I called ahead of time and did a 1hr massage. The price was super cheap for a shiatsu massage. It hurt like heck but I feel that’s the only way to get your knots out. The environment was calm and quiet. It would be a good idea to make an appointment. I will definitely be going back. Highly recommended.

My new favorite shiatsu place! Small, cozy, with none of the moaning and fluorescent lighting like the other local shiatsu places. Excellent treatment, easy parking, I highly recommend this spot.
I’ve had hundreds of massages and Reiko-san is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had – if not the very best! I’ve been a customer of Reiko-san’s for 20 years, and her massage style suits my body perfectly. She’s strong, but not overly so, and her Shiatsu technique is spot on. She works miracles on my neck, shoulders and back. She also does the best back elbow massage – an art unto itself. If her prices were a true reflection of her talent and skill, they would easily be double or triple the cost! I tip generously because the prices are so low for the high level of quality service. Daisuke-san is also wonderful and so nice. He was my regular massage therapist while Reiko was on hiatus. He’s very skilled and works miracles like Reiko-san. If you want a first-class Shiatsu massage, come to Kenkoh Land. They also have REAL massage tables with proper face cradles which are so much more comfortable than the ones at Chinese and Korean places.

This place recently came out with some new prices. $ 20 for 30 min. and I forgot the rest. The one I just mentioned always catches my eye as I walk by. On the top, it says try our $ 10! So, I walked in yesterday and made an appointment after I get off work. The $ 10 is about 15 – 20 minutes. I haven’t gotten a massage in a long time, so I wasn’t sure how painful it would be for my body. I wanted something short and sweet. The guy who massaged me was GREAT! He got all my knots and really worked them out. He could tell that I barely get massages, and suggested that I come more often. –__– haha. Luckily, those 15 – 20 minutes turned into 35 minutes! :D I will definitely be coming back.
