Again, the time has come to reveal my actual secret weapon to the variation on a theme of all things in moderation. This unlikely, common sense, low cost method was the brain child of, from what I understand, three people: a fitness trainer, a guy, and the guy’s wife who was about to enjoy the terror of losing weight after having a baby. It’s called Lifesize. The basic premise: We are eating too much. Well, okay. Yeah. I hear you. Well, that was easy. It is so incredibly easy. You don’t diet, you eat what you love, and portion out everything: yes, everything. No fancy vibrating machines, no set of 32 behavior mod tapes; just simple measuring devices that you keep in your kitchen. Simple and very effective. Like the LBD of common sense dieting. When I purchased this it came with an Intro from the product makers, as well as a gigantic wall chart(plasticized, of course, in the event that happy people are having a food fight; realizing with euphoria that you can eat healthy and lose what you want, and not have everything taste like cardboard). Even though many of you might groan at the ‘look’ of the measuring devices, the names of said devices will totally charm you: ‘Saucy Dishes’, ‘Goodies’, and more. Not only are the titles charming, but the product makers are darn nice too. They maintain a «let us know how its going» policy, which they are totally serious about. It is also easy to accommodate your portion amounts due to medical reasons or if the food isn’t on the chart. After a while, you are simply on automatic and not once are you deprived. I give the creators a lot of credit for realizing how out of control eating can become and how truly ‘off’ our portion sizes have gotten. Secrets out. Take a bow!
