Quality Respiratory Solutions(aka King Medical Supply Company) based in Torrance, California, the fact that the company uses two different names with the same mailing address should have been my first clue as to the horrors to come. In the four years that my Father had been a patient/customer of this company he had to endure frequent harassing phone calls from their billing department claiming that his account was delinquent. I called them back on several occasions citing that their ERRATIC and SPORADIC billing practices were to blame; for months at a time we would not receive any bills and then one day ten billing invoices would fill our mail box; they would frequently double bill us as well as charge us a late fee. Days after my Father’s recent death I called up Quality Respiratory Solutions(aka King Medical Supply Company) and requested they pick up their equipment. I was told to expect someone from their company to swing by and pick up the equipment between the hours of 12 p.m. and 3 p.m. On the day of the so called«scheduled appointment» two guys(a younger guy and an older guy) FINALLY show up around 4:30 p.m. As they entered the house I could smell cigarette smoke on their clothes. The younger guy asks me what equipment needed to be returned to the company(apparently they were not given an itemized patient equipment list). I pointed to three canisters of compressed oxygen and an oxygen generator. The same guy then takes out a hand held computer with stylus. It was pretty obvious to see that he did not receive any training on how to use the computer since he was struggling to input the information into the machine. About ten minutes later I was given a receipt. Quality Respiratory Solutions(aka King Medical Supply Company) is an incompetently run company with poorly trained employees. Good riddance to them!
