Been to this location several times! This isn’t a pleasant location… Just convenient(distance wise) –Wait-time is ridiculous. –Service is pretty slow. –Silverware will have water stains on it. (I hate) ahaha –Parking sucks(very crowded parking lot) +The lobster is delicious!!! +Excellent alcoholic drinks! But they aren’t strong at all. — :( Not sure why I keep giving this place chances to impress me but every time it’s just pretty disappointing. If you’re only coming here for the food and to get stuffed Without care to wait time, service from your waiter, or overall nice ambiance. Then this is the place for you! Just eat, get full, and leave. No other sense will be indulged or satisfied at this establishment. :)

We visited this Red Lobster recently, and the experience was characterized by both highs and lows: ______________ — We showed up for a late dinner(past 8PM) and still ended up waiting about 20 minutes to be seated. There’s definitely not enough seating to accommodate larger groups of those waiting to be seated; the one bench inside the restaurant front lobby plus the two benches outside just won’t cut it, especially on a packed night. We ended up spending part of our wait seated on a curb — which was equal parts hilarious & saddening. ______________ — The service at Red Lobster was inconsistent. Our server seemed engaged at times and completely over it just minutes after. I will point out that we were seated about an hour &15 before closing, so she must’ve been pretty pooped — but that still wasn’t an excuse to make us feel like we were just a means towards getting a tip.(To her credit, she did seem to warm up to us as the dinner carried on.) + I wish I had gotten the name for the hostess that had seated us(skinny, taller brunette girl). She was amazingly kind, sincere, and performed very well under pressure. More specifically, the cops showed up as we were on our way out(not sure why!), and the poor hostess found herself forced to prevent a patron from reentering the restaurant(again, unsure as to the reasons why). While doing so, she still made every effort to wish a cheery«Good evening» to each & every person who passed through the lobby on their way out. Definite kudos for her professionalism! _______________ + For all its flaws, Red Lobster still knocks it out of the park with their Cheddar Bay Biscuits. These lethal bites of joy were crisp & golden brown on the outside, yet had a melt-in-your-mouth, fluffy interior. The biscuits were just as good now as I remember them being in the 90’s and 00’s — and they’re easily the most consistent part of the Red Lobster dining experience. + There’s an excellent value to be had with Red Lobster’s Four-Course Feast($ 17.99). For a price that’s pretty much comparable to an entrée at most sit-down chain-type establishments, you receive your choice of four soups, along with one of three salads, one of six entrees, and a small Brownie a La Mode to conclude the meal. On paper, this deal seems like a no-brainer. Unfortunately, the execution of my meal didn’t quite match the level of value offered. — In just one cup of chowder, I bit down on gritty, grainy sand at least 3 times! The chowder wasn’t all that noteworthy to begin with in(in terms of its flavor), but regardless — the sloppy preparation of the clams completely torpedoed the entire dish. — For the entrée portion of my «Feast,» I ordered the Shrimp Linguini Alfredo. The portion size was pretty reasonable, especially when factoring in the price. Sadly, I found the pasta to be overcooked and gummy, while the individual shrimp pieces were rubbery in texture. The alfredo sauce was nice & creamy through — not too oily or buttery. + Red Lobster’s Coleslaw wasn’t half bad. Being that coleslaw’s flavor is generally mild, I tend to evaluate this dish more on its texture than anything else — and Red Lobster’s variation struck a nice balance between crunchy and tender textures. It was a nice contrast to the richness of the pasta. + Finally, the Triple Chocolate Brownie end the meal on a perfectly okay note. Although the somewhat-downsized serving of this dessert may have been off-putting to some, my GF and I both appreciated the portion control! The brownie was your textbook a la mode dessert — warm, gooey, and appealing largely because of its contrast of textures & temperatures. _______________ Overall, our experience here was a little too up-and-down for my liking. Maybe next time!

I’m not fond of this particular Red Lobster, It’s definitely not a diverse location; the majority of the people that work here are sassy black women and they make it known. The wait times are usually ridiculous, especially during rush hour. Our waitress forgot about us a few times and we had to remind her that we were missing. She forgot my grandfather’s soup once our meal had arrived and when he asked her about she replied«Oh I forgot to put it in. Did you still want it or nah?» The meal was fantastic! All of our food was on point. We ordered lobster everything and had absolutely no complaints about the food. I did see a guy constantly sweeping the floors and cleaning tables, but the bathrooms smelled pretty bad and could have used more attention. Parking is almost impossible to find here.

Our server Joel was so attentive and friendly! Came here to celebrate Valentine’s Day with my family party of 8 and he did an amazing job. We love the biscuits and lobster fest is the best time to come. Service is better than at Black Angus! Thank you for a great experience! Will be back soon :)

We were craving sea food so we decided to check out Red Lobster in Torrance. They were busy… I mean this with a capital B. Busy. After the long wait. Our table wasn’t what we wanted but it’s okie. I ordered salmon with lobster tail and hobby ordered tilapia from the fresh of the day menu. All I can say that my strawberry lemonade was great. I wish I could say the same for my food. It didn’t look like what I ordered, which was not a big deal but it was cold and salty. Definitely not what I expected… Waiter was okie and polite. He was probably over worked, well it was a busy night. Highlight was he gave us extra biscuits to go. Which was great!!!

I love red lobster what can I say. They are so nice and giving me extra biscuits when I leave. In a to go bag. On top of what I’ve left behind on the table. The service is really great. They don’t take phone call reservations on the weekends anymore. But they do for weekdays which helps. The peach iced tea is my favorite. And the snow crabs. The steak and lobster work to our perfection.

Years ago Red Lobster was a good chain restaurant. Sadly, they have gone downhill and are not what they use to be. Dined here Sunday evening and wish I had just went somewhere else. Found a long hair floating in my lemonade. The manager was nice enough to comp my meal, but that just ruined the rest of the food for me. The only saving grace is the cheddar biscuits, those are always consistently good.

Sadly Red Lobster is not what it use to be. First we found a hair in the Caesar salad. The waitress was kind enough to give us bisque to replace the salad. I ordered salmon and my daughter ordered the main lobster bake. I feel sorry for the lobster that gave his life to be part of that bake. No seasoning just boiled lobster in a sea of lukewarm butter. The potatoes in the bowl looked as sad as the lobster. The salmon was salmon but nothing special. Again the waitress was great and asked if we liked the meal and I told her no and they removed the lobster from the bill. Thank you staff and cheese biscuits for saving what could would have been a complete failure.

Other than these very very old«ladies» who had no business dining here, the experience was nice. Josh and Pam are great servers… it is too bad that these broke old folks wanted to abuse the staff by running them back and forth then b1tchin about any and everything they could all in an effort to get a discount on the bill. We ended up moving our table as their voices were irritating as nails on a chaulkboard. One of the old hags tried to get smart with us and MAC put the smackdown. It is a sad situation when the public wants to take advantage of workers in the service industry but Pam deal with it as professionally as possible and Josh helped get the table from hell out the door as swift as possible. As for my meal, I ordered the 4 course meal with clam chowder, a caesar salad, Jumbo Coconut Shrimp & Grilled Spicy Pineapple Shrimp plus a brownie a la mode.(What…I had a tough day at work). My food was tasty although the clam chowder was a little watery for my taste.

My guy has never visited Red Lobster and today was the day we went so he could finally give it a try. I personally love this facility since this is the one I mostly frequent. It’s always clean and the staff is accommodating and friendly. We entered and were given a 15 minute wait period. And sure enough at the 15 minute mark we were seated. Our waitress, Trina S., was very nice and very attentive. She made sure to refill our cups before they went empty. Being my boyfriends first time she was able to answer his questions about different menu items as well as my questions too. I ended up going for the peppercorn sirloin with shrimp, mashed potatoes, and asparagus while my boyfriend went towards the endless shrimp route. From the fresh asparagus to the mouth watering shrimp my plate was absolutely delectable and my boyfriend got his money’s worth of endless shrimp. Just hope the tummy ache was worth it! Lol We will definitely be coming back. You can’t go wrong in a place where there’s great service and even greater food.

Oh Red Lobster how rarely we meet but that might change now… This review focuses on Endless Shrimp and this branch’s service. The few times I went to Red Lobster was specifically for the Endless Shrimp promo and this visit wasn’t any different. Came here on a friday with my friend at dinner time, around 8pm and was seated just as they estimated, about 30mins, stroke of luck on guesstimate or just a great statistic? I won’t be sure but it’s not a bad wait. As soon as seated we were greeted by the lovely Trina who immediately offered to get our drink orders. I came here for one thing, the Endless Shrimp, I had to check the menu a bit to find it to be sure it’s offered here.(Tip: It’s at the bottom of the 3rd page of the menu, pretty narrow and small, but it’s there.) My friend and I ordered the endless shrimp and our fat personalities started. The cheddar bay biscuits are among the best offerings do have to try that if you haven’t, it’s freely provided anyways. Now let’s get the Endless Shrimp started… Oh and pictures are provided to help visualize :) Pineapple Habanero Coconut Bites — These are small coconut shrimps soaked in their tangy and spicy sauce. It can get spicy, so if you aren’t inclined to the heat, avoid it. These are not bad, the flavors can get tiring after a while. Teriyaki Grilled Shrimp — Probably a favorite of mine, grilled nicely and lightly brushed with teriyaki sauce, clean flavor and delicious. If you are watching calories, these might be a nice one to get, or get it without teriyaki sauce and just plain Grilled Shrimp. Might be a bit bland but it’s shrimp as is. Hand-Breaded Shrimp — Served with cocktail sauce, when I got these a few times, they always come warm and crispy, I like that. The sauce cools down the temperature a bit and each are nice bites. Shrimp Linguini Alfredo — This one is probably my least favorite of the options. Comes as pretty much pasta linguini with the small shrimp you get from packages. If you want pasta, shouldn’t order the endless shrimp, this is a nice change of pace but not exactly that great, more pasta really than shrimp. It’s linguini with some shrimp. Garlic Shrimp Scampi — This would be another favorite. Comes in a hot container and smooth flavor of garlic and delicious. Soft and garlicky bites of shrimp and nicely made as well. Coconut Shrimp — This one isn’t listed on the options, but Trina, waitress extraordinaire, mentioned it as an option to us and it was the original coconut shrimp, with the dipping sauce. This one was my friend’s favorite, and the sauce is coconut sweet and this style is great as well. Overall the endless shrimp options and styles is a good deal, if you like shrimp that is, my friend and as I said are fatties that ate and ordered and ate for a bit over 2 hours! Probably downed more than 200 shrimp during our time there. As for the flavors it isn’t bad, but nothing super amazing either. If we are just rating food, the endless shrimp would be 3~3.5 out of 5 for me. This is such a long review… but I have to make it longer, have to mention the experience. If you do go here, ask for Trina. She’s amazing, the entire 2 hours of my time here she was all fast and happy to serve. She refilled beverages immediately, before finishing, she’s already brought a new one for you. She suggested to order ahead for the shrimp since they take time to make, which we did. Constantly checking on us, constantly helping us even how busy the place was, I did not feel forgotten even for a second of the entire 2 hours. Trina deserves the recognition, because of her that’s why this review is 4⁄5. Honestly, went beyond what my expectations were. Oh, and ordered dessert afterwards too, because according to Trina, the 4 years she’s been there, not one got dessert and finished after endless shrimp, we had to break that and put an end to that story. Got the Chocolate Lava Cookie, and that was amazing as well, I definitely suggest that as well.

What can I say? I love Red Lobster! I come here when it’s a birthday or when my family and I need to satisfy a urgent craving of Cheddar Bay Biscuits and Shrimp Scampi. Red Lobster is located at Restaurant Row in Torrance. It’s kind of tucked away between Benihana and Elephant Bar. Mostly crowded since there are guest from the nearby hotels that supposedly come dine here too. Parking is a struggle but I found that if you wait an average of 9 minutes in a full lot, you will find an open parking space. The staff here are pleasant and kind. They’re always professional even when crowds get restless. Some days it takes longer to be seated than other days but that’s with popular restaurants. The food is great! My favorite thing to order is the Endless Shrimp. You pick 2 out of 5 shrimp entreés that comes with one side and a salad. I always order the shrimp scampi and the shrimp linguini with a side of rice pilaf. This visit, I tried something new on the menu, pineapple habanero coconut bites. It’s coconut fried shrimp tossed in a sweet and sour sauce with diced pineapples and habanero. Love the kick of heat that you get at the end. I think I may have discovered a new favorite. Goes great with a nice cold beer! I was not a big fan of the hand breaded shrimp or the teriyaki shrimp skewers. I thought it was mundane and unappealing. The hand breadded shrimp looked like frozen battered shrimp and the teriyaki shrimp had a deep salty taste… major turn off! What did turn me on was their Berry Mango Daiquiri. It tasted like a Mango Lassi gone wild! The fresh mango berry purée with a sneaky peak of Bacardi rum… it was sinfully good! You betcha I’m coming back here again! :)

Surprisingly, I hardly order lobster when I come to Red Lobster. Snow crab is always a great pick when I am here. Another thing that I also come for is the delicious bread biscuit. Recommend for: families, big parties, seafood crab and shrimp lovers, casual date dining, friends, social gathering.

I’ve never really had bad service here but today I was incredibly impressed by the waitress i had. Her name is Adija, very VERY friendly, attentive and personable. I asked her recommendations and ahe explained the dishes i inquired on. I decided to go with the Parmesan Crusted Tilapia, very good recommendation. Prepared to perfection. I told her how much I love the biscuits, she kept those coming and kept my Mango Ice tea filled, which was also very good i must say. Only wish I had room for dessert. To me a good waitress can make or break an experience and her service would definitely bring me back. She had a smile on her face the entire time and i listened to here interest with other guests, she was just as friendly. I’d come back just to have her as a waitress again, she made my visit enjoyable and made me feel welcome… Thank you Adija …

My server gets 5 stars! She was so nice. I wish I remembered her name.(African American girl with a lovely smile) We came for the 15.99 two entrée jumbo shrimp deal thing. I brought a coupon for 4 dollars off but the coupon but I guess it didn’t apply to promotions but she let us use it anyway. She brought us lots of warm biscuits. And even brought an extra bag to take with us with our doggie bag. She was always smiling and cheerful. The food was ok. Lol. I got the garlic skewer and the linguini. Nothing special.
