I stopped by to use the restroom for my 7year old daughter and inquire for an implant for myself. I have been looking for a cosmetic dentist on a cash only bases. The receptionist directed us to the restroom and before we could get through the door were cut off by Michelle okamota DDS and told that we had to use only the one on the second floor. This is bad business!!! Apparently we were not good enough for her or she is so money hungry that she couldn’t it spare the toilet paper. I will be telling my other manhattan beach friends never to go there!!! Too bad I would have been a great client.

Started going to Dr. Steven Okamoto back in 2008 to fix some faulty dental implant molar work done by a dentist in San Francisco prior to my move to SoCal.
Dr. Okamoto does general dentistry, but he especially excels at dental implant and cosmetic work (he went to UCLA).
The last time I was there, he fixed a chipped teeth in one of my lower front teeth.
He has a good sense of humor and laid-back manner, but when it comes to work, he and his staff are über meticulous. In addition to Dr. Steven, I also highly recommend his colleague and daughter, Dr. Michelle Okamoto, who is a UCLA dentistry grad like her father.
I’ve since moved to West Los Angeles, but I still continue to travel to Torrance for my dental appointments with Dr. Okamoto and his staff — a good dentist is hard!
