The selection of food is miserable, but the food comes straight off the grill. It’s a great service to visitors of the hospital. The surrounding area is well established with great take out, but convenience is the 4th star here. 3 star service and quality, 4th star for not tasting like overpriced microwavable food.

The options for food are extremely decent compared to most other hospitals. The salads are decent, the fresh fruit leaves a little to be desired. I would give four stars but the woman who is the cashier in the middle of the day is a little short and not very friendly. Whenever I am at other hospitals’ gift shops or cafeterias, staff is very cognizant that family present may be going through some stuff, and provde gentle and friendly service. She makes you feel uncomfortable and like you’re bothering her when you order during down times. She tried to have another conversation with an employee in the middle of one of my transactions, ignoring me. Overall not impressed with her service.

This is the New Café/​Cafeteria they opened at Torrance Memorial Lundquist Tower. This Café has a wide variety of food. They have from sushi, sandwiches, soups, salads, and warm food cooked to order. There is something for everyone. The pricing on the food is reasonable. Check this café out if your every visiting this hospital and get hungry.
