Walteria is an empire, running a church, a school, a liquor store, and a dry cleaner, among many more. I don’t know about the other Walterias, but the dry cleaner should make its brethren uncomfortable. It claims expert alterations, but they aren’t. They fail at simple tasks like pressing a coat. They also keep an item for several days before informing a customer that they can’t do what they said they could. I hope their other enterprises are easier to run. Maybe they should gut this store and bring in a new Walteria. I recommend a business not requiring skillful management.

Have been looking for a while for a reliable cleaner in the area. I’m a first time customer, and already impressed. The owner assisted the customer in front of me to his car, carrying all the finished shirts and pants. He quickly got back behind the counter to assist me. I dropped off dress pants on Monday late afternoon, and the owner said they’ll be ready by Thursday. Pretty good turnaround time without having to ask for expedited service.
As I was leaving, another business owner in the area gave a rave review. Looking forward to coming back many more times in the future.

As with any business, it’s hard to find a place that one can trust. For example, back when I wasn’t smart enough to know that not every dress shirt needs to be dry cleaned, I was taken for a ride at a place in LA that will remain nameless. (Screw them! by the way…) Luckily, I’ve found a new place close to work that is honest AND do a great job laundering and dry cleaning my dress shirts. The workers there are polite and very customer service oriented. It’s not a coincidence that they were voted South Bay’s Favorite dry cleaner!

Best alterations in town. I recommend them to everyone. My daughter is a dancer and so often we have needed her costumes to be fitted. The lady there does an extraordinary job and takes pride in her work. Every single item that we have brought her over the last 4 years has been done with exact intricacy and detail and has always fitted my daughter as though the outfits were made specifically for her. Everyone I have sent there has had nothing but great experiences with her.

They are polite and do a decent job dry cleaning clothes. But, you have to point out the specific spots that they need to pay attention to otherwise they’ll miss it. I have had to bring several items back for them to dry clean again.
I don’t recommend having any clothes taken there for alteration. I had taken a jacket in to have it altered and it was completely done wrong. I had to take it to another place to fix the jacket. I will not take any clothes for alteration there again.
