Robert’s Tuxedos

I had an absolutely incredible experience here.
I came in for a last minute event and they were able to help me pick out a beautiful tuxedo in a pinch. I may have gotten lucky with my size, but I was in and out in an hour.
Robert and his staff are knowledgable and friendly, too.

Had a great experience for a wedding party. We were able to pick out everything within 20 minutes — as if they guys could read my mind! Definitely pleased with them and the service. My only qualm was that the prices are higher for the same tux’s I found to rent in Bloomfield.

Awesome service and the tux fit perfectly! I will definitely recommend and use for my own wedding as well. Thank you for the great service and making my dear friend (the groom) and his beautiful wife’s (my cousin) wedding night a stunning looking one.

My family has been renting formal wear from Robert’s since 2005, and I am a very happy customer. Rob’s customer service is excellent, and there’s something special about this mom and pop store. Rob Sr. started the store over 30 years ago, and Rob Jr. is the face of the business.
Last week, I needed a gold colored vest, and I drove all the way to Totowa (over an hour away) to rent it from Rob. They were open during the Easter holiday weekend (open on Friday and Saturday, closed on Easter Sunday). I was able to find the exact vest and matching bowtie, which Rob ironed and readied to be worn the same day, and he had me out of there within a half hour. Here’s the best part of the story:
When I returned the vest on Monday, I forgot to bring my bowtie. Since I live so far away, I asked him how much I would have to pay if I couldn’t get it back until next weekend. Rob said don’t worry about it, and he said he wouldn’t charge me anything extra for the late return.

The best! These guys know what they’re doing!!! Rob the manager was super helpful to us in choosing the attire for my son’s upcoming wedding! He suggested styles that complemented the gentlemen in the wedding party and helped us to carry out the black tie theme of the wedding. Their prices are better than the chain stores out there and the personal service is above reproach! We have a few guys who are a tougher fit, and they will tailor the suits to their needs. Impressive!!!

Here is a hard fact, Just the look @ the wheatherd lookin building and the window display with the sun beaten tuxedos and decade old props thats not disputable. Is it? Maybee the owner should spend some of that 50k lol in better ways there is no way that stock is current, no way shame on you Unilocal.I may have mistaken Pierre Cardin label but I swear I saw it, , Can the owner tell us why Raffinatti, Oscar DeLarenta, Claiborn and many more tuxedos on their web site have not been produced in at least a decade, another hard fact! Be true to the public, buddy! No I am not your customer and chose not to be but wanted to post a review as a consumer thats my right! I have strongly researched this info it is 100% factual.
I am sure they give great service yadda yadda yadda but the stock is old! and should not be represented as new!!! Please respond. I am especially curious about the Raffinatti label one store owner told me 20 plus years they are out of business Shame on you.

Roberts Tuxedos has been taking care of my family and friends now for more than 10 years now. The customer service is top notch and, I have referred many friends to them. I have got nothing but positive feedback from the people I have referred them to. They treat you like a valued client as opposed to a price tag like the big stores do. Poor service, low quality product and overpriced! We were told by Robert (the owner) that it would take WAY too long for one of my Groomsmen to try on the entire tux; we should simply put on a jacket and get an idea of what the guys would look like. When I reminded him we would be renting 12 tuxedos, he informed me that we were lucky to see the jacket, had we gone to «the mall», we would simply be offered a catalog to look at.
Not sure what store he was referring to by «the mall», but we left his store and went to Dante’s in Verona where we all tried on various tuxedos before choosing one that looked just right. Save yourself a trip, and about $ 45 per Tuxedo!

By far the best service and Tuxedos in the area. We had checked out a few places including Mens Warehouse. This place made all the others look horrible. I wouldn’t rent from anybody else period.
They took care of out town groomsmen and did final fitting the day before the wedding.
We left for our honeymoon right after the Wedding and my son did not return my Tux for 7 days. These guys waved additional fee’s because no one else was renting it that week. Class ACT… love this place!
