Best Western Plus Towson

Best customer service ever! Shauna, and the other front-​desk ladies are very helpful and friendly.
I was extremely impressed with the quality of my room, the bed was amazing, and the linens were soft and better than I had expected.
The Hotel bar is also staffed with the friendliest… Eve, JJ and Kenny.
I must mention that the Vietnamese restaurant (in the hotel premises) is very good… and easy in the pocket.

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip over the weekend. After a 15 hour day, I was exhausted upon my arrival at 11 pm and the front desk staff were extremely courteous. I even received a complimentary drink card from the food and beverage director who happened to be behind the counter and saw how tired I was. When I got up to my room, the key did not work, so I had to go downstairs to have it recharged. Unfortunately, the elevators were out of service too and it took me 5 minutes to get downstairs. I decided to get my drink, have my key recharged and go up to bed. Again, the new key did not work (it turns out that the battery in the key reader was out) and when I finally got into my room, the remote did not work. I finally got settled into my room shortly after midnight. When I went to the dining room the next morning, I was informed that the menu would not be offered and I only had the buffet as an option. Starving, I accepted, however, I was very disappointed when I tried the eggs. If they weren’t powdered, then they were most certainly the worst scrambled eggs I’ve ever had. If they were powdered, ditto. When I inquired about where the fruit was, the waitress told me that there was a problem with the refrigerator the night before and all of the fruit that was supposed to be at the buffet had to be thrown out. The waitress was very sweet and went to the back and found an apple for me. Again, the staff at this hotel were extremely accomodating and friendly and should probably be working at some of the nicer hotels that I’ve stayed at that have rude employees. Overall, the room size was good and it was a great value. If it weren’t for the stellar service, I would have given this place only 1 star.
