The Limited

My usual Limited store unfortunately closed up shop at White Marsh Mall so I looked up the next closest store which is in Towson Town Center. From the moment that I walked into the store I was greeted & a dressing room was started for me. As I was shopping the staff took items from my hands and added them to my dressing room so I could comfortably finish shopping. There were a lot of people in the store requiring assistance but the staff juggled all of their tasks seamlessly & I ended up purchasing an entire new Spring wardrobe over the course of two days. My first experience here was so wonderful, I went back the next day and purchased more items and was greeted by NAME upon walking into the store. They also ordered a blazer offline for me with free shipping since they didn’t have it in the store, the shipping was really quick. Kudos to this staff, I spent years in retail so I know good customer service when I see it & this store rocks at what they do & I actually like the store space itself better than White Marsh because it’s lighting is much better and the organization excellent as well. You also can’t beat the hemming service they offer at time of purchase, my clothes FIT me so much better with this service and they measure you right there on site. Now I have a black card… lol. Everyone continously comments on how nice I look, mission accomplished! :)

The employees in this store are the pits.
I love Limited’s clothing, but trying to get someone to help you by locating other stock or contacting another store is the worst.
Case in point: I’ve had my eye on a suit & have been waiting for the opportune moment to snatch it (ie, when it was on sale). The moment was upon me, so I went in to get it & naturally they have only the tiniest sizes out. From my prevous Limited experience, I know they can order from the internet or check another store’s stock, so I approached the girl and asked her to check the store, the internet & White Marsh for what I needed. She checked and told me White Marsh had 1 pair of pants in stock, but she «didn’t know the condition of the item» — what does that mean? Sorry, but why don’t you pick up that new fangled technology they call the PHONE behind you & call?! In the end, they had the jacket in my size in Towson, pants in White Marsh. Did she make any effort to help me out? Nope.
I’ve also watched them take a suit off the hanger and literally ball it up & stick it into a shopping bag.
I didn’t get the suit. I’m sticking to buying from their stuff in White Marsh. At least the people are friendly and helpful there. Oh. And they leave your new suit on the hangers and bag them the right way!

This is a fairly large store with plenty of new fashion trends for updating your career wardrobe. Many of the pieces tend to be pants, jackets, skirts and blouses. The fabric tends to be easy wearing synthetics, too. The customer service is lacking even with a store that isn’t crowded.
